The Clinician was very patient with me. I am 51 yrs old and it was difficult for me to remember things in my 20's. My assessment ran over time but the Clinician took the time to listen and called me back later on that evening. The assessment was very indepth and I think I went through every emotion. The Clinician was empathic and took the time to make sure that I was ok. After I received my ADHD diagnosis. The Clinician explained strategies to me that may help me with things I am struggling with and informed me of reasonable adjustments I can request to help me with things I am struggling with at work for example Online multi step instruction tasks. I have been allocated resources by the Clinician to help me understand ADHD as well.

Kate was amazing and took great care talking us through the process involved with understanding what support there was for our son, and how we go about working with the school to implement it.

So grateful for this service. Education Navigator, specifically Nicola Wiltshire, is stellar. So great to have her on our side.

The whole process took just over two weeks after submitting all documentation. The dashboard and questionnaires are simple to use, and the assessment was conversational, yet structured. Sarah L was my assessor, she was kind, gentle, encouraging and accommodated me throughout the entire process. Diagnosis was shared the next day and Sarah kindly gave me some tips, and set up the next steps (support groups and medication), she also suggested weight lifting as someone who needs deep pressure when stimming which seems to be helping.

I had such a positive experience throughout my ADHD assessment. Going into it, I was understandably nervous about having to talk so openly about myself and the things I have found difficult throughout my life, but I was made to feel completely at ease.

The assessment felt relaxed, supportive and genuinely human. I never felt judged or as though I needed to give a particular “right” answer. Instead, I felt listened to and given the space to explain how my brain works and how this has affected different parts of my life.

What really stayed with me afterwards was how significant the whole process felt. I came away reflecting not only on the things I find difficult, and how exhausting it can sometimes feel to manage them; but also on the parts of myself that I really value. My creativity, energy, passion and the way I throw myself wholeheartedly into the things I care about are all part of the same picture.

I’m incredibly grateful for the kindness and reassurance I was shown. Being able to talk so openly and feel genuinely understood made what could have been quite an overwhelming experience feel incredibly positive.

For anyone feeling nervous about starting an ADHD assessment, I hope my experience offers some reassurance. I came away feeling heard, understood and with a much greater sense of understanding of myself.

Everything was completed in a good time frame and reminders were sent via email. I’m not very good at keeping up with emails so this helped.
The assessor was really personable and took things at a steady pace.

Would recommend problemshared clinicians, kind and understanding and reassuring. Make you feel at ease. And the wait times of 1year few months were reasonable when you know the wait list can be over 2 years in other parts UK! Thanks very much x

After years of being brushed off by doctors and my school teachers, it was so relieving to finally be listened to and taken seriously. I recommend anyone using ProblemShared if they are given the opportunity, especially for relatively short wait times. If you ever need help, they are always quick to respond and helpful in their advice.

Terrible service and communication. 2 years waiting for diagnosis and titration to be emailed in discharged with 2 months left for titration. Can’t get a response via email why either. Now to find another clinic after 2 years waiting with them. Messing with peoples lives not helping

The dyslexia assessment was incredibly helpful and thorough. My assessor was patient, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain both the tests and the results in detail. The feedback was clear, insightful, and focused on practical solutions that will help me going forward. I left with a much better understanding of my strengths and some valuable strategies to support me in the future.

I had quite a few problems with submitting the pre questionnaire on time. This was due to a decline in my mental health. Which I was informed might happen. I got confused with the deadline and so I panicked. I sent emails explaining this and they offered me moral support and reassured me how much time I had left also. I am very grateful thank you. I also had some confusion over appointments, particularly the designated informant one, again with swift replies to my emails, they were able to sort this out. Thank you again Nadia and James. Jacqui the assessor was also very helpful and patient with me while I asked questions and was able to provide explanations for me when I needed them throughout the assessment, thank you Jacqui.

I was so terrified having my official diagnosis but both assessors were so kind and accomodating. They dont use technical jargon and they truly care about you. I would give more stars if i could

I have used Problem Shared for both my ADHD and Autism assessments and they are the best provider I have been too. Especially after struggling on the NHS waiting list for 5 years. On my 5th year I went to my GP asked if I could get referrals to problem shared & within 2 years I got both assessments and diagnosis done. So I highly recommend. I highly recommend the lady and would like to say a huge Thankyou - Jo who has supported me from the start and if it wasn’t for her I’d have quit a while ago. As you are on a waiting list still but they keep you informed as much as possible!

I am happy on how quick I have received my assessment, perhaps I have received diagosis quite easily, which made me think a little bit, but I think it is my personal issue, rather than anything to do with the assessment itself.

The staff were excellent and sensitive which really helped.

We recently had a session with Narenza Dhanasar regarding support for our son’s ADHD diagnosis, and the experience was exceptional. Even in just a one-off meeting, she was incredibly kind, supportive, and truly took the time to listen to us.
She treated us as individuals rather than a clinical checklist. We feel blessed to have had this time with her; her willingness to offer personalised support and generously share her own experience made a profound and immediate impact on our family.

This has been a very difficult process for me and has taken a long time. I was dreading the Autism assessment but I can genuinely say that both the assessors, Shey and Anna were so kind, easy going and understanding it made it as easy as it could be. They informed me of how the day would be, reassured me that I could take breaks whenever I needed and stop at any point if I felt overwhelmed or things were difficult.
My assessment was online and this was easy to navigate, completely on time and stress free.
I have had both my ADHD and Autism assessments through Problem Shared and although the waiting time for the Autism one was about 6 months longer, I would not hesitate to recommend them. Diagnosis was immediate and a fully comprehensive report followed. Plus there is a free package of support you can access afterwards
