Procountancy Reviews

A great course.

Hugh is super knowledgeable and passionate about the material, invaluable in getting me a pass in the final exam. Thank you.

If you are studying for a CIMA qualification I really think you'll find the most value using Procountancy.

Hugh, the owner, actually gets back to you personally (within 24 hours might I add) and as a former student himself has a great understanding of all the support you might require whilst studying for your exam.

His content is broken down into more manageable chunks compared to other providers and the amount of content you get in return for either just the workbook (with pre-seen analysis and practice questions included) or the whole course is second to none.

If you have the dedication to put in the required time and effort into the exam and use Procountancy you will give yourself the best possible chance of passing the exam.

If you still aren't sure go ask Hugh himself through email or LinkedIn - would the owners of any of the other providers give you the same level of customer service and understanding of the actual course?

Thanks again Hugh 😃.

Hey everyone, I just wanted to shout out about my amazing experience with Hugh from Procountacy. I recently passed the ACMA CGMA exam, and honestly, I couldn't have done it without his incredible support and guidance. Hugh is a top-notch educator with stellar credentials, and he knows exactly how to break down the theory, industry knowledge, and likely exam scenarios in a way that's super easy to understand.
What really sets Hugh apart is his online course, which covers all the topics comprehensively and shows you how to apply theory in your answers. His insights and detailed reviews of all the questions and methods were absolute game-changers for me. Plus, he has this unique approach to answering questions that really made my responses stand out from the rest.
Another fantastic aspect is the WhatsApp group he set up for all his students. It's a great space where we can post questions, share our thoughts (sometimes even long-winded ones!), and get quick responses from Hugh. He's always on the ball with his replies and provides personal feedback that's focused on winning strategies.
Overall, Hugh's dedication and expertise made a huge difference in my exam prep. His teaching experience shines through in every session, and he's genuinely invested in our success. If you're looking for someone to help you ace your exams, I can't recommend Hugh enough!

I feel so much more confident heading into the May 2025 SCS exam thanks to Procountancy! I recently received their SCS book, and the quality is outstanding. It’s packed with useful, relevant information that goes beyond what I’ve seen elsewhere. The materials are well-structured, practical, and clearly designed with the exam in mind. I would highly recommend Procountancy to anyone preparing for their SCS, definitely worth the investment!

Hugh has the best material and is by far the best tuition provider for CIMA case studies. I have used two other tuition providers in the past but Hugh’s material, quality teaching and clear and concise methods were far superior to other tutors. I passed my SCS largely thanks to Hugh’s you tube videos. Thank you!

PROCOUNTANCY greatest asset is getting in touch with the students and making sure that we the students can overcome challenges and be successful in our exams. The courses (video and text) are very well detailed, easily accessible and to navigate. The best part is quick feedback from PROCOUNTANCY about inquiries. It is the best AICPA-CIMA tuition provider and absolutely absolutely absolutely recommend PROCOUNTANCY to anyone taking their CIMA case study exams.

I have started this journey 40years ago . If not because of Hugh I wouldn’t have passed. He is dedicated, passionate and great lecturer. His notes are spot on with bite size material. But detail and this what most busy adults are looking for . Easy to understand and exam focused. I will strongly recommend Procountancy and under his guidance you cannot go wrong

The mocks were very closed to the exam questions. Regardless of the variant you get, the course will give you what you need to pass.

I purchased the course after failing my initial sitting of the case study. The first point I want to make is, compared to other providers, this course is very competitively priced and thorough. Other tuition providers often do not provide questions that are relevant to the pre-seen materials of the current case study. Other providers also often lack providing comprehensive study materials and also assume you have all the relevant technical knowledge for the exam. With Procountancy, there is no assumption of previous knowledge and everything is explained in simple laments terms. In addition to this, Hugh is always keen to help his students and is readily available to answer questions at any time in the day. Hugh demonstrates that he genuinely cares about his students and wants them to succeed! The only regret I have is that I didn't use his course sooner and I couldn't recommend him enough...especially if you have previously failed! The textbook and videos are all excellent. In addition to this, 3 mock exams were provided and 20 tailor-made questions relevant to the case study! Amazing, thank you!

Hugh went above and beyond to answer any questions. His answers are always in great detail and depth. I bought his textbook to help with my study’s for the Strategic Case Study exam and with his help and guidance I passed first time.

I cannot recommend Hugh and Procountancy highly enough.

Be sure to check out his YouTube channel for amazing free sessions too

I highly recommend the procountancy course for the scs. The study materials are clear and to the point, making complex accounting concepts easier to grasp. They also give clear guidance on how to answer questions. The lectures are well explained, and the one on one interaction with the tutor (Hugh) ensures personalized support. Additionally, the resources are readily available, making it convenient for students to stay on track.

Procountancy has excellent materials, approach to case studies and top notch mocks. Hugh is very responsive and helpful.
I decided to go ahead with Procountancy SCS course last minute and do not regret this move.
Highly recommended for anyone who wants to dip dive into their preps and pass their exam.

I sat the SCS in November 2024, I had purchased material from another provider but felt there were gaps in the content and didn’t feel prepared to take the exam. I came across Hugh and Procountancy by chance and his materials were so well prepared and straight to the point it make the whole study process clear. If I could go back in time I wouldn’t waste money on any other material and sign up for Procountancy from day one, honestly couldn’t recommend it more

My first experience with Procountancy was when Hugh offered a free live stream, providing an in-depth review of the pre-seen. I found it incredibly useful for my upcoming exam. What stood out to me was not just Hugh’s knowledge of the case study but also how engaged and genuine he was with the audience. It was clear that he truly cares about the people on the other side of the screen and wants them to succeed.

After that session, I spent weeks deciding whether to purchase his materials. I was already using another provider and had resources at hand, so I wasn’t sure if it was worth it. But then I came across one of his posts featuring a sample question from his book, I was sold. I finally purchased Hugh’s book a week or so before my exam, and I kicked myself for not doing it sooner. The amount of useful knowledge I had been missing out on was huge!

The book is packed with exam tips, answering techniques, and everything you could possibly need to succeed. Even if you already feel confident, I’d highly recommend getting it for the question pack alone. Unlike many others, Hugh’s questions are not just recycled from past exams, they are adapted to be relevant to your specific pre-seen, practicing with them made me feel far more prepared.

Hugh is responsive to messages and always takes the time to answer any questions. I would absolutely recommend Procountancy to anyone looking to secure a pass in their exam!

A wonderful source material, I returned to CIMA after 10 years gap and had no idea on new SCS format, procountancy was my main reference throughout preparation, it made my SCS very simple and I passed in first attempt, very highly recommended.

I have studied CIMA through a number of tuition providers on my way to the SCS exam, and Hugh is by far the most thorough in terms of content and timely in terms of feedback. If you are looking for an edge on your next exam, I would highly recommend Hugh.

To all Cima Strategic Case Study students, if ever there was a more preferred course material out there, that is relevant and to the point for the SCS Exams, it has got to be from Procountancy.
To Hugh Martin, I really enjoyed the Preseen analysis of the Rotomyne Case Study (Nov 24 & Feb 25) and your Live stream seminar. I want to thank you for reaching out to students like myself from South Africa by putting such a valuable session up for free on You Tube.
You covered all the difficult topics Cima calls tricky topics like Currency Risks, Internal Audit, and Corporate Governance, not forgetting the entire Core Activity B in detail.
Your commitment to helping Students pass the SCS exams really showed in the Live stream seminar.
Many thanks for all the assistance thus far and if I pass this time, it is hugely going to be due to the fact that I used your sessions as revision material to prepare for my Feb 25 exam sitting.

You deserve all the accolades.
A huge Thank you.

I purchased the SCS Textbook 4 days before the SCS exam (had another tuition provider) and I wish I had purchased sooner.

The review of the case study was excellent but the stand out is the question pack and model answers. The questions are similar to the real case study which makes a real difference in understanding how to answer the questions.
For the price it is incredible value and for context I have used Kaplan text books and FLP, VIVA & Astranti.

I highly recommend Procountancy to anyone preparing for their CIMA exams. Their study materials are well-structured, comprehensive, and incredibly useful for the SCS exam. The marked mocks and detailed feedback provided valuable insights that helped me refine my approach and improve my confidence.

Beyond the high-quality resources, what truly stands out is their exceptional customer support. Hugh genuinely cares about students and goes the extra mile to provide guidance and assistance when needed. It's rare to find a tuition provider that is not only knowledgeable but also so responsive and supportive throughout the exam journey.

If you're looking for reliable, high-quality CIMA resources with fantastic support, I highly recommend Procountancy!
