⭐☆☆☆☆ – Very Disappointing Experience
I’ve recently received my A1 grass seed order from ProGreen. Before purchasing, I received a call from one of their advisers, which initially gave me confidence in the company. Unfortunately, that was the last meaningful contact I had.
Having been a loyal ProGreen customer for many years, I’m genuinely disappointed to say that our business relationship has now come to an end. The level of customer service has fallen well below the standard I had come to expect.
My concerns and dissatisfaction include:
* A lack of communication after the initial sales call.
* Poor customer service and little apparent interest in supporting customers once a sale has been made.
* Feeling like customer loyalty is no longer valued.
As someone who has spent a considerable amount of money with ProGreen over the years, I expected a much better level of after-sales service. Sadly, this experience has left me with no confidence in continuing to use the company, and I will be taking my business elsewhere in future.
It’s disappointing when a company you’ve trusted for years leaves you feeling undervalued. I hope ProGreen takes customer feedback seriously and improves its service for future customers. I'm so annoyed as this year my lawn had not taken properly as the A1 garden seeds this year have been of a poor standard, you should be ashamed.

I honestly cant comment on the actual product. I recently moved house so to be fair I had provided initially the wrong delivery address. I notified them but now the parcel is missing UPS states it has been returned to the sender - I cant get any real answers from customer service just the usual "we will look into it" no offer of any refund or replacement - not great customer service so i am mising almost £50 and no product either

We have been using ProGreen for some time, when I have had any issues trying to kill some weeds I have rang them and they have always been so helpful in suggesting how to resolve my issue. And the icing on the cake for me is they have changed there carriers so I no longer have to pay postage.
Customer Service is dreadful - find another company
I had a problem with my order and customer service did not want to know and made no attempt to assist after repeated attempts. Product is ok and does the job but if you have any issue at all you are on your own. My advice is don't reward a company that doesn't care about it's customers and use someone who does. There are alternative products and sellers out there.

A1 Lawn Fertiliser
I’ve ordered A1 lawn fertiliser for years and it’s the best I’ve found so far, even tried the other alternative (Amvista) on their website and it’s not as good. Therefore I would give five stars IF the delivery wasn’t so slow and the delivery prices so high.
Come on Progreen, sort these two things and you’ll be on to a winner!

Paid £12.99 for 3-5 days delivery
Paid £12.99 for 3-5 days delivery, actually took 15 days to arrive. When package finally arrived in UPS depot in Inverness I was told as I live in a remote area I will take more time to arrive. Goodness sake I live in Inverness.
As a good will gesture I would like my £12.99 returned due to time taken after the 3-5 days passed.

Efficient. Confirmation and follow up good. Product arrived on time although had message from courier to say that product would be dropped off at local village shop the day before, a little confusing as they didn't have the parcel.
Really disappointed
Really disappointed! Product has still not been delivered so cannot comment on that, but delivery time and updates have so far been diabolical. Phoned after 1 week to speak to someone who laughed and said how crazy it was that a product they normally have plenty of stock for, they now don’t! Didn’t help much, but to then make a promise that it would be tomorrow or the next day at the latest… surprise, it’s still not here. If I didn’t need the products so much I would have cancelled my order and gone elsewhere.

Non-Delivery and Zero Customer Support
I placed an order worth over £100 with Pro Green and paid for home delivery. UPS did not attempt redelivery, did not use the safe place and diverted the parcel to a pickup point without my agreement. I contacted Pro Green three times by email and only received an automated AI response, with no human follow‑up or resolution. I should not have to chase a company for a simple paid‑for home delivery, so I have opened a PayPal claim for non‑delivery. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this retailer.
UPDATE: Despite the issue being unresolved, I even received an automated marketing email asking me to review my ‘recent purchase’, showing they are unaware of the ongoing non‑delivery.”
