This is the first time I’ve written a negative review, but it’s also the first time a company has lied to me twice.
I placed an order on September 3rd because they were the only online supplier that had the piece available. According to their website, it was in stock. After 3 weeks of waiting, I contacted the company. Jay told me that they didn’t have the piece in stock and that I shouldn’t trust their website because it wasn’t up to date. He also told me that their supplier in Spain would send it to them in 2 weeks, and then they would process the order and ship it to me, so I should expect it by mid-October. He said that if anything happened, he would contact me.
When I checked my order in their system again, I found that it had been canceled on October 3rd. I never received a phone call or an email about it. I called them again, and Jay told me that “the order was canceled by the client.” I told him that wasn’t true. I never canceled it: not during our conversation, not by phone, and not on their website. When I asked for a solution, I was transferred to John. He told me he could place the order again, but that “it will be open for my entire life,” because the piece they told me they had was never with them and never will be.
Now I have lost a month, I still don’t have the piece, and I have to start all over again. After making two mistakes and not being honest with me, I would have expected them to go out of their way to find the piece. A company that cares about its customers would have done that.
If you need a piece, do not trust their system or their word. They are not reliable.

I had a problem with a bent part while on the road, I contacted PP and Sean responded quickly. Being new to this hitch I was looking for advice, what I got was a series of questions designed to prove I did something to break the hitch. Establishing blame was not the priority at this point, I needed advice on how to continue the trip safely. Sean should have told me to stop towing with that hitch and seek a safe alternative. His only focus was proving I did something wrong and he didn't give a hoot about the safety of my trip. I changed to a simple ball hitch and had no other issues. When I got home I contacted Sean and again he offered no solutions just was focused on blaming me for the problem. Reading through the negative comments on this sight "Blame the customer" seems to be their MO. Sean is arrogant and believes is product is perfect and any problems can be traced back to the customer. I advise against doing business with this company as they will not try and fix any problems that might arise.

Your response proves my point, attack the customer.

In other words the customer is the expert we bear no responsibility. You will move mountains to keep from replacing a defective part. Unbelievable, buyer beware!

Notice they never take responsibility for the part and never offered to replace the part in fact they told me they would not replace the part until it was determined how it happened, I sent them pictures and they blamed me for having the safety chains mis-routed, this is not true as I followed the install instructions to a tee. Apparently they think customers should have the expertise and tools to take apart the hitch while on the road. If you buy this very expensive hitch I hope it works for you, for if you have a problem you are on your own.

Wow what a difference. The stacker car hauler was scary at 55 mph with sway hooked up to our F450 empty or loaded.
Not now! 70 mph on the interstate passing cars and trucks with no issue
Customer service is excellent. Mistakes can happen. For example we were sent the wrong length bolts with our original shipment. I called pro pride and Brent apologized for the mistake then sent new bolts immediately. Believe all the reviews that this product works as advertised with great customer service

Great tech support and fast shipping!

I needed to swap out my truck receive end because I got a new truck before using the hitch and it had a larger receiver. Sean and crew were great, I sent back my used receive end and they immediately gave me a credit.

Brent was so positive and helpful. I actually called after hours and he picked up the phone. The whole crew go above and beyond!

The receiver ball extension is a must have for me to move my RV in our RV garage. Great addon! Worth buying.

Follow up and quick response to questions. Frustrations quickly allayed.

After 5 years of ownership, I still get prompt one on one service! Thank You ProPride!

Awesome device! Love how this system makes my travel safer.

This is my 4th hitch since 2013. The service is always flawless. The improvements in the product are significant in the last two years. New V2 jacks are very easy to use. Overall fit and finish with the introduction of robotic welding is exceptional. And even the packing is better, doesn’t take an hour to get parts out of the old foam packing material.

As was stated in a few reviews, the Customer service is fantastic. I have used the ProPride on one trip and it was great. Everything that was advertised. The trip was 550 mile round trip. Looking forward to using it again.

I enjoyed the attention they rendered in placing my order. Follow up is important to me. By responding quickly showed me that the company cares for its buyers

The fact that it preformed as stated.
No more worries about big rigs passing or big wind gusts. I could maintain a consistent speed and not be concerned about passing. We were both more relaxed when we arrived. Learning the hitching isn't as difficult as you might think and will get easier the more you do. My son commented that he thought it was easier than his standard WD hitch as he helped.

I saw all the product reviews and knew that the P3 was a quality item. The support material including install videos I felt comfortable that it would solve my towing concerns. But it was the quality of the customer service that really sets this company apart. I had a question while on my first tow through the mountains so I sent a note with this question to the company on the weekend. By early monday morning I had an detailed response which solved my issue.

Great people and very informative on my issues to correct a problem that one of my technicians had created. Reassemble with new replacement parts and was able to get customers back on the road !!! Bob from blue compass rv
