It was all good at the beginning...
Update - October. I have had someone actually listen to me, understand me and have said to make all communication through them which has given me hope so I have changed my rating. The whole conversation has made me hopeful, and once I'm re-enrolled, and able to continue again, I may revisit my review & rating.
2 stars - It was all good at the beginning. But after taking a break due to loss and now wanting to carry on. I'm waiting months without getting any email replies and having to chase PT Academy up on there chat option on the website. They keep telling me to ring. I do not have that option during the times available. Stop making me chase you. I paid for a course, yes I now need to pay for an extension but this is such poor customer service.

"I had a rough start to my course due to a poor original tutor, but Anthony Bevan completely turned the entire experience around from Day 1. He immediately worked a late night to clear a 2-week backlog, setting a brilliant standard for the rest of my qualification.
Over the next few weeks, his feedback on my practical video submissions was incredibly prompt and sharp. Every time a technical adjustment was needed, he showed me precisely how to improve to guarantee the pass. He single-handedly saved the course from being a garbage experience. Phone Harassment
This company is a scam ignore all the fake 5 star reviews they offer free government funded courses in your area on the website then Tee says it’s only in Birmingham now. Then they offer you a paid course they try to get you to take out the top package that’s all online even the practical assessments are done online that is not creditable in a job as a PT it was only creditable during Covid. I’ve blocked PT Academy because Tee is harassing me via phone, text and email because i didn’t pay and sign up he rings me on whitheld instead that is phone harassment he shouldn't be harassing the public ringing on whitheld daily to try and get commission it’s phone harassment and i would class that as financial abuse too ringing the public on whitheld asking for money. I have signed up to a PT Course with a legitimate company that offers in person practical assessments and guaranteed job interviews not this scam of a company with pushy illegal sales tactics leave me alone stop ringing my phone 2 times a day it’s annoying it’s been going on for over a week now. UPDATE to PT Academy’s reponse they dont offer fully funded courses it said in my local area on the website and i’ve seen it on other Trustpilot reviews too its a scam. I was told the assessments are done over video thats not creditable in job interviews. I rang up for a government funded course and i get told there isn’t any in my area when it says on the website Tee persuades me to take out the top package I said i would do it next week when i had the money then he rings me up the next day asking for a £49 deposit that’s unprofessional business practice. You didn't respect me ringing me up on whitheld and another 0121 Birmingham number after I blocked you for over a week at least 2 times a day number it was harassment and financial abuse if I ignored your company then blocked the number and email your company should not be ringing me on whitheld leaving voicemails Tee has shown thats he’s unprofessional doing that your company shouldn't be regulated by Ofqual because your practicing unrelagulated business practices

PT Academy offers fully funded training opportunities nationwide, with hundreds of learners having successfully completed these programmes. Funding is allocated in limited places, and our current allocations are fully booked. In the meantime, we offer optional partially funded programmes and discounted course packages.
Our qualifications are nationally recognised and regulated by Ofqual. Although the majority of learning is completed online for flexibility, practical assessments are conducted in a gym environment, either in person or through recorded practical demonstrations where permitted.
We also understand that you had expressed interest in one of our larger packages and completed an application form, which prompted our team to follow up regarding enrolment. However, we respect your decision not to proceed and your preference for no further contact.
We remain committed to providing transparent course information, recognised qualifications and ongoing learner support throughout training and career progression.

The 1-1 Mentor Support Makes a World of Difference!
I'm really glad I went for the package with a mentor. I think it makes a world of difference to have that 1-1 support when I need it. Having recently completed my first module of the course, I can say that Sam is an excellent mentor who is clearly passionate about his work. He was incredibly accommodating when it came to completing my in-person assessment. Sam was supportive and understanding of my circumstances, assuring me that he would be there to help me pass all of my courses.
