We were rather apprehensive about getting underfloor insulation done as we thought it would cause a lot of disturbance but in fact it was done very quickly and efficiently. The Qbot team was very professional and helpful and the whole process went very smoothly. They answered our concerns about fire safety promptly. and now the house does feel cosier. I would certainly recommend using them.

Product mis sold, no orbit event taken to site.
No difference in floor temp even after works.
Would not recommend under any circumstances.

Sales team for Q-Bot were great. Super helpful and patient in making sure that the product and process were understood. They were also happy to wait whilst GBIS options were explored, and other insulations measures were installed and were not at all pushy with a sales pitch.

The team that attended the property were great and accomodated requests to minimise cuts in floorboards when it was discovered we might need more access points to get to all areas given there were several support walls under the floor. They also came back to review an ongoing draft that occurred because my 1910's house then ended up having walls undetected walls within walls!

My house with hung flooring is no longer ventilated via the floor, and it is easier to keep it warm with a noticeable reduction in indoor humidity. Payment options were also flexible and I was able to make an upfront payment with the remainder paid monthly across 12 months.

I'd definitely recommend Q-Bot for their professionalist and product which has been reviewed and is registered with appropriate regulators. My only other option would have been to entirely rip up the floorboards for other insulination measures and that would have been a BIG task and quite disruptive and expensive. So I was pleased to be able to make improvements to insulation and comfort without that having to occur.

Qbot installed my underfloor insulation about 3 years ago now. Having previously had external wall insulation on an old stone house, this has some effect, but as a very cold person I knew i needed to do more.

The actual process of Qbot completing the insulation was very undisruptive to me. I kept working in the bungalow and just vacating the room and opening windows for short periods. I was lucky to have access via to underneath via the outside. However even if they had to access from the inside, it would have been far better than the alternative underfloor insulation. Qbot were very respectful of their working space, communicated really well and tidied up after themselves.

3 years later it has definitely made a difference. I can heat the building to my required level and not think the heat is just going through the floor. Bills have reduced.

Not only that, recently I had a leak in the boiler system and Qbot were happy to come along and remove some of the insulation to access the pipes underneath the house. The leak wasn't anything to do with the insulation causing this and was fixed with a plumber and leak sealer in the boiler system. However they have come back today to respray the small affected area, with no charge.

Their customer service has also been tip top since the upfront cost. Very quick to answer queries and find solutions.

We have a 1908 bungalow made of brick under a clay tile roof. Floors are suspended. We are working with a specialist architect to improve air tightness and insulation. The underfloor is being treated with an airtightness membrane and insulated. This is a hand process. Unfortunately in part of one larger room there is insufficient headroom to do this work. Q-Bot were able to use their robot to spray most of this and finish some other spaces by hand spraying.
Customers will make their own decisions on the use of petrochem foam. I get the impression this is a company that knows few people will inspect the quality of their work. We did, and took photographs of defects. For example a number of floorboards had not been sprayed at all, and there were other defects such as gaps in the spraying, and pipes left exposed in what is now a cold space. They consequently came back twice to correct previous work. Visual evidence suggests that insulation is OK. Whether it is airtight is anyone's guess, until subject to a future air test. They also managed to break the TV cable. On the positive side, when defects were pointed out, there was little quibble in getting the team back on site again. We have had several contractors on site and this one has been the most problematic.

Q-Bot is highly trustworthy and delivered exceptional service. They worked diligently to insulate the challenging structures of my floors, and their efforts truly paid off. With colder nights already setting in, I can feel a noticeable difference—the floor is now much closer to room temperature. They earned every penny for this job, and I would gladly use them again if needed.

We had Q- bot underfloor insulation installed in May so we have not had a cold weather test yet but the floor does seem warmer underfoot already. Friendly, efficient service. They completed the work on time, and left the rooms clean and tidy.

A man claimed he. Would ring .never did Lady said he was on holiday.He then said he would ring next day at 9 am never did. What sort of company is this ,they don't deserve customers.

I'm very pleased with the excellent service from Q-Bot for my underfloor insulation. Careful installers, arrived on time and left everything clean and very tidy. My house is so much warmer now. Highly recommended.

I'd been looking for a way to draught-proof the downstairs of our house with a suspended timber floor for a long time. A colleague mentioned Q-Bot as he had come across them while studying at Imperial College so I looked them up, got an initial indicative price online and decided it was worth a try for getting the survey.

The survey was done in around an hour and all seemed good so I accepted Q-Bot's quote (which from memory was about the same as the online indicative price).

There was an admin error about which day they would do the installation, which was the only slight negative in the whole process. Q-Bot sorted it out quickly and arranged to come just two days later instead.

The installation itself was done in a day, with minimal disruption. The two men who did it were very professional and polite, and gave me complete confidence that they knew what they were doing and would do a thorough job.

The difference has been amazing. The draughts have gone and the house holds its warmth so much more. We feel much more comfortable now - I have no doubt that the heating bill will be lower now, but it's been worth the cost just to feel warmer and cosier without the draughts!

I am completely satisfied and would strongly recommend Q-Bot.

The service was excellent: their customer service team were quick in providing me a quote and booking me in. The installation team did a very thorough and efficient job with minimal disruption. Their innovative process means that you can remain in the house while the work takes place. I would highly recommend Q Bot.

This has made a huge difference to our comfort in our 3 bed semi. Previously the floor was really cold and draughty and as we had previously laid engineered timber flooring it would have been really disruptive to insulate and draught-proof from above. We work from home and on cold days used to sit wrapped up in hats, coats, fingerless gloves and blankets to stay warm even with the heating on.

The surveyors were thorough and reassured us, answering all our questions and showed us the robot and how it would work. They checked the access, the moisture content of the wood and whether there was adequate ventilation. We did not have to wait long before they were available to carry out the installation. The installers were also great and very efficient, finishing in 1.5 days. It was fascinating to see how they worked - setting up in a van outside and using a games console controller to operate the robot. There was no mess left behind. They had warned us there would be a bit of a chemical odour, but they set up a ventilation system that worked really well and we could not smell anything much.

I am sitting writing this on a frosty late November evening and feeling warm despite a couple of our radiators not working properly - and I'm not wearing outdoor clothes!

I am hoping it means we are less likely to want to turn up the thermostat, the house will retain its heat better and will notice a reduction in our gas usage.

I am delighted with the underfloor insulation that Q-bot installed in my mid terrace Victorian house. They provided an excellent service throughout the whole process, from the time I booked the initial survey to ensuring everything was clean and tidy after the installation. My house feels much more snug as a consequence of the insulation. It is such an advantage that the whole process involves minimal disruption. I have been recommending Q-Bot to all my friends.

I cannot thank this company enough, they did the survey for the £90 that was refunded back in the final bill. The 2 workers from Q-bot on installation were very polite throughout the work they carried out. We were very cold in our suspended floor bungalow with drafty air vents all around the bungalow that we really felt in the cold weather. We have had freezing cold feet since we moved into the bungalow, even wearing coats even in the spring because of the cold. Job done, and the heating is on 22f with radiators with hardly any heat in them now and we are so much warmer, looking forward to my next gas bill that will be drastically cut from now on. They were professional from start to finish, telling us everything that was going on from our first inquiry to the survey to the completed work done. Just wish I had known about this company years ago, as I would have had this done years ago. If you are thinking about having this work done, don't think too long and get it done, you won't be sorry about it

Good communication, everyone we encountered throughout the process was polite, and the fitters were exceedingly tidy- you almost couldn't tell they had done anything, it was so tidy!
