Having never considered an aesthetic treatment of this nature before, I was a little dubious, however having done some research and reading up, reading through Karen's reviews and blogs, I decided to bite the bullet and get in touch.
I've recently entered perimenopause and with that have seen noticeable changes and inevitable ageing of my skin, particularly on my face, which has left me feeling very self-conscious and uncomfortable in my own skin. I'd always joked about having a facelift because my side-profile but would never have been in a position to afford a surgical procedure, which also felt quite extreme.
I was also not keen on the idea of Botox injections (although I pass no judgement and others and have not ruled it out - especially having now met and spoken with Karen!). Finding the Radiant Facial website allowed me to make an informed decision on choosing the HiFU treatment, and have reaching out to Karen and booking a consultation (lovely chat!), I was booked in for the procedure within a week!
I had the procedure done yesterday at the clinic; it was painless and also nice and relaxing. Karen walked me through each step and reiterated that I may not see a huge difference straight away (only up to 20% of the results on the day). However, my skin felt tighter and in the before/after shots she sent through to me later in the day, I could definitely see less pronounced jowl lines and my chin area and jawline looked just that little bit less chubby.
I woke up this morning and although very very subtle, to me it looks as though I've lost a couple of lbs and that loss is showing in my face. I do feel as though I should do a second review in 8-10 weeks time once the full results of the procedure are visible, however if it carries on like it has on Day 2, I'm sure it's going to look fabulous!

Karen's level of experience in the aesthetic field and the care she took with me as one of her clients has made me fully trust her with my face - her philosophy to make aesthetic adjustments look effortlessly natural was so lovely and immediately removed any stereotyping that I had of the industry, and my choice of clinic... and also of those who go to get 'work done'.

I cannot recommend RFR (and HiFU as a treatment) highly enough - I'm now excited to think about what other subtle yet effective tweaks I might come in for next. Thank you Karen!

I’ve always had an insecurity over my upper lip being smaller than my lower. I didn’t want it to look too different but wanted them to look natural and symmetrical.

I explained this to Karen and she did exactly that. She’s professional and helpful and is so friendly. Would definitely recommend.
