I had a terrible experience with Recharge.city. They repeatedly called me, convincing me to invest $12,500 in their franchise for mobile phone charging stations, promising a quick ROI and passive income. It’s been a year and seven months, and I haven’t seen any income, let alone the promised ROI.

When I contacted them, they made excuses about the location not being good enough and convinced me to pay an additional $3,000 for better locations. After they got the money, they made me sign an agreement and provide documents like my ID and a receipt with my signature. I later realized this was to prevent a chargeback. When I tried to get my money back, they used these documents against me, and I lost the chargeback.

I’m shocked to see positive reviews from their COO Sergey Bolyubash here. It’s clear to me that these positive comments are fake. I strongly advise against doing business with these scammers

Firstly, it's not at all like they claimed on calls or ad. No one like to pay to charge there phones here even with the voucher I offered. Secondly, I don't see any potential on this machine enough to make any dime at all right now. Disappointed

I invested in Recharge.City's franchisee program for New York City on June 12, 2024, with high hopes based on their promises of a fast ROI and their supposed strong user base. They assured me that the stations would start generating money within the first week of placement. I’m based on the West Coast, so I trusted their claims about station placement and performance.

It's now been months, and I have seen absolutely no returns. I can't even verify if the stations are placed as promised. The lack of transparency and follow-through is alarming. Their customer support has been unresponsive and unhelpful.

To my surprise, I see numerous positive reviews, which seem highly suspicious and likely fake. This company appears to be a complete scam, and I strongly advise others to avoid investing their hard-earned money with them. It’s been a frustrating and costly experience, and I hope this review helps others from falling into the same trap.

Don't know what to say. This charging stations will bring absolutely nothing into your pocket. I've places the machine within one week after receiving it, waited for two months and nobody came into the station until you force someone to use it. They are doing no marketing to get customers.

Beware of fraudulent fromises and Fake Dashboard. I fell victim to this company’s false promises of stable passive income and a quick ROI within a few months. Regrettably, I paid them $33,000 for stations and a location in New York City without conducting proper due diligence. They provided me with a dashboard to monitor my income, but it turned out to be entirely fake. I have not received any income whatsoever, and it has been over a year now.
I am in the process of filing a chargeback request. Recently, I joined an online forum for victims of this company and discovered that I am not alone in being defrauded. Upon visiting the Instagram profile of the company’s owner, I found that he appears to be living in Russia.

ABSOLUTE SCAMMERS! I was told there would be return on investment in just a couple of months but l can barely see pennies coming through. BEWARE PAYING THEM ANYTHING. THEIR BIG TALKS AND FAKE PROMISES WILL BE GONE ONCE THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY.

They don't even have an office in New York city. I visited the address mentioned on their website and to my surprise they have no office there whatsoever. It was too late by then as I have already lost $15000. Never trust them. A guy named Alex with a foreign accent may contact you promising a 6 months ROI. Please stay away. I've all the receipts and have forwarded them to the fraud prevention departments. I'm not in the US right now. I will take legal action after I return.

They lured me to buy their phone charging machine for $2400 saying I can make ROI within 6 months. It was late when I realized I couldn't be able to generate $20 in a month. Absolute Scam and I am moving legally to stop these Scammers. No response from their side when I tried to contact them. I'm gonna get chargeback

it took me a while to realize that all the bad reviews are complete BS and it's definitely fake from the competitor companies.
I had some doubts reading these fake comments which says they're never gonna send you the product or you're not gonna make any money until I realized that this company is an official partner with the City.
The profit growth is a bit slow at the beginning, but then it's starts to gain more and more on monthly basis without any additional expenses, which is affordable and a great to be something on the side as a bonus and a passive income resource.

This company is a joke on the investment site. They promise an ROI of 6-8 months but the numbers say otherwise. You'll be lucky to get an ROI in 3 years at their pace. Stay away from investing!

I like this business module where they find you the locations and make sure that you're making money even after you buy the units! However, I thought they are just overpriced while I looked at other companies prices so I decided to buy 1 cheap machine from another company which then told me that am totally responsible of creating network, finding locations..etc, what's more annoying that the quality of their units is the worst part where some of the powerbanks never actually charged.
Recharge city is on a whole different level, the support team is the best. the chief of sales Alex is a hell of a sales person who cares about you actually making money which I never found with any other company I invested in before!

Am giving it 4 stars because of communication, they will literally update you on weekly and monthly basis by phone which gets little annoying.

P.S just got all my stations placed and generating revenue :)

When I saw similar stations back in China I thought why don`t we have them here in the US. Recharge started selling franchise a year ago and I thought that was the right time to hop in. That was the second best decision I`ve made in my life

I couldnt afford being a franchise so i took a loan a year ago and the stations i have paid back in six months. I coudnt belive at first and still cant to be honest. I guess i need more now
