I am writing to raise a concern regarding the pricing presentation on your website, specifically for the “Ultimate” plan.

On the pricing page, the plan is prominently advertised as “$14.99 / month” in large, bold text. However, the actual billing structure appears to require a single upfront annual payment of $179.88, as indicated in much smaller text at the bottom of the pricing card (“Billed at $179.88 every 12 months”).

This pricing format is potentially misleading for several reasons:

The monthly price is the most visually prominent element, which may reasonably lead consumers to believe that a monthly payment option is available.
The annual billing requirement is disclosed in a way that is significantly less noticeable, both in size and placement, and may be easily overlooked.
There is no clear or immediate indication near the primary price that the plan is billed annually, nor is there language such as “billed annually” or “annual plan” directly associated with the $14.99 figure.
The overall impression created by the page is that the service is offered on a monthly subscription basis, when in reality it requires a full-year upfront commitment.

From a consumer perspective, this presentation can create confusion about the actual financial obligation at the point of purchase. Pricing is a material factor in decision-making, and it is important that it be communicated in a clear and conspicuous manner.

I respectfully suggest revising the pricing display to more clearly reflect the billing structure. For example:

Displaying the full annual price as the primary figure (e.g., “$179.88 per year”), with the monthly equivalent shown secondarily, or
Clearly stating “$14.99/month, billed annually ($179.88 upfront)” in the same font size and close proximity to the main price.

My intent in sharing this feedback is to highlight a potential source of user confusion and to encourage greater transparency in pricing communication.

As of right now the free version's "delete" for Reddit does not delete anything at all but simply replace your comments with ads for Redact. At first I didn't mind or wonder too much why it was, figured it was a mistake on my part or a glitch. But running the software again (a few weeks later, allowing for patching time perhaps), and this time triple checking that I used the delete option resulted in the same thing.

Lying is not cool.

Again as far as the Reddit option is concerned just looking a few more minutes for the free (and easier) script that I ended up using would have saved from some annoyances.

$-wise, another lie: The software advertise itself based on monthly payments but doesn't actually bill monthly, instead, it's one lump sum payment of 12x their advertised monthly bill.

I'm leaving Reddit mainly due to my realization of how much it was shaping my perspective. It grossed me out when I discovered this about myself.
The program successfully removed all content on my Reddit account in just over an hour long. I had a lot of comments though but it completed what I had asked for. The UI is so simple and easy to use. It takes just a few clicks to select what you want removed.

I've been using Redact to clear some old tweets, it works perfectly. I'm glad that it runs locally so I know it's impossible to have one of those big companies leak. That's a big deal for me.

It was a nice experience using this tool, didn't expect this to work this smoothly, loved this, recommended to others as well.

Horrible. The program doesn't do as advertised. It will not batch delete fb or other app items (comments, posts, etc) despite their company clearly stating that they will. Uninstalled the disaster from my laptop but I am left with the Redact app attempting to open an uninstalled app every time I open my laptop now. Thanks for the mess and the irritation. I highly recommend avoiding at all costs.

The app didn't work for me any better than using Facebook's own deletion facility. I contacted customer service, they replied asking for two things, which I provided, they didn't reply again until several days later when they saw my review here. Then they processed a full refund, assured me that their platform works really well and asked if I'd tone down my review. So I have.

Very disappointing experience. The information on the website is misleading and not clear, which led me to believe the service would do something it simply doesn’t. After realising it wasn’t what I wanted, I contacted Redact multiple times requesting a refund and received no response at all. Poor communication and lack of customer support are unacceptable. I would not recommend this service based on my experience.

Horrible scam company. THIS IS A SCAM. The positive reviews are SCAMS. It did not do as it was supposed too, it delete 2 weeks and then said that everything was deleted. It's not worth the money AT ALL. this company is a scam operation! The creators of this do not care about customers and care about getting as much money as they possibly can. DO NOT PURCHASE. They know hacks to get good ratings on iPhone when it doesn't actually work, if you scroll through the reviews it's nearly all negatives with a couple of their fake positives. But somehow it still comes up at 4.4 stars. Go to fiver, and just pay someone to do it for you.
