Recently attended a training course in Plymouth, the trainer was Tania and all information was very useful, keen to do more courses!!!

Attended First Aid Training today in Bournemouth. Rebecca H the trainer was brilliant. She was friendly, and encouraging and made the day go so quickly. I learned alot, and whilst I hope I never have to use it feel able to do so.

Went to the training feeling rather concerned that I had little idea about basic first aid and that I would be helpless in a crisis. Came away feeling confident that I could assist in a medical emergency, and wanting to learn more. Rebecca Hutcheson, the trainer was so warm, and committed to imparting her knowledge that it was easy to learn. She knew all our names after a few minutes and the whole day was thoroughly stimulating. Rebecca is a complete contrast to the flat, uninspiring power point, online training that unfortunately many organisations employ.

I worked for this organisation and was forced out! entire organisation full of people slacking around waiting for problems to go away instead of helping, especially managers. No one picks up phone or reply to emails unless they know you personally or you know someone who knows them. full of two-faced fake people no place for a truthful individual. No chance of growth unless you know the managers.

Good when booking in to hire a wheelchair but the man collecting it was nothing short of rude. I would’ve thought the Red Cross would’ve employed respectful people not someone who is impatient and condescending!

I had my first aid refresher course at casa hotel chesterfield, The day was brilliant and seemed to learn more, just like to say a big thankyou Tony’Albrighton

Recently attended a First Aid course at Portsmouth BRC. Sarah and Andy were absolutely top notch! their knowledge is encyclopaedic and they delivered the course in a way that engaged everyone and made it easy to absorb.

I have been visiting Bude in Cornwall for many years and one of my favourite pastimes is charity shops and one of which is the Red x charity and I’ve always been able to take my little dog with me BUT yesterday I entered the Red x shop in Bude, Cornwall only to get pounced on by not one but three people all quite aggressively telling me that I cannot bring my little dog in and when I said I’ve always done so I had 2 of the 3 staff coming across the shop floor toward me and as it was very obvious that i wasn’t getting in I politely told them to stick it up their asses and left. NOT GOOD.

Today I attended a First Aid in the Workplace Course @ Abingdon, Oxfordshire and the Tutor (Peter) was absolutely brilliant. Thank You.

Done my first aid at work 3 days course in Moorgate.
While it wasn’t the first time when I have attended this course I must say Leigh Turner our trainer was brilliant, joyful and knowledgeable!
Instead of keeping us on our chairs listening to her, the class joined together in specific activities making us feel part of the course, being always active and happy.
Good fun, met nice people, felt good and left the course with a lot of confidence!
Keep up the good work Leigh and really nice meeting you and the students! 🤪

After seeing their ad on Facebook. People were taking the mick out of people who couldn’t afford more than £2! And British Red Cross was reacting with laughing faces??!!? Very professional. Was going to donate until I saw that. Lost out on a good donation. Pathetic. Also they couldn’t answer questions about where peoples money was going???? So it will line the managers pockets and probably 5% will go to people in need. Again pathetic!!!!

On the Red Cross website it says this: Your donation could help someone affected get:

food
water
first aid
medicines
warm clothes
shelter

COULD????? Why could????? So another words it won’t. Shameful. Don’t give to this charity.

I attended a one day course delivered in Billericay Essex. Fantastic and informative training delivered by a great trainer called Tonty. I left feeling much more confident and equipped to deliver first aid should I ever need to.
