RED Driving School 

My instructor was Faraz. He was a great instructor who passed me 1st time in under 30 hours of driving. He has a great attention to detail when practicing manoeuvres and has very successful driving techniques which helped me to pass my test. I highly reccomend Faraz to be your instructor, very nice person to have around you when learning

Stacey Kimmis, Thanks so much for helping our son get his driving licence after his previous instructor unexpectedly stopped lessons close to his driving test. Stacey is a very good communicator, always on time, great at confirming dates and discussing progress as needed. She also offered lessons from one, one and a half or two hours, which made the money go further. We are very pleased with Stacey and would recommend her and RED Driving School.

MY driving experience was amazing and its all because of Tirath Singh, since I started learning to drive he has been extremely patient and always helps me to correct my mistakes, he made driving fun and enjoyable and thanks to him I passed my driving test.

I would never recommend RED driving school ever again. Angela brown / Angie Brown abandoned me a couple of weeks prior to my test and my lessons nearly went on for a year with continuous need to constantly keep purchasing lessons without understanding why. Leaving a pupil 2 weeks before their test after spending months affecting their confidence, shouting, constantly holding the wheel, using patronising language such as “what on earth possessed you” is completely unacceptable. As a grown woman feeling close to tears on lessons is not normal and this went on for months. Started lessons in August 2025 booked a driving test for next year July 2026 and was told in April 2026 I wouldn’t be ready by July - something no pupil should have to hear or be told. I am furious that I was essentially paying to have my confidence completely affected. Took me off course to routes not related to my test area and then told RED that I requested to be taken off course to challenging routes which makes absolutely no sense why would anyone ask such a thing. Very bizarre experience and would highly recommend booking another instructor if you’re in the sidcup Bromley or Orpington area. Complete waste of time spending thousands to be abandoned before my test, I also then went on to pass on the date as planned with 3 minors. Ridiculous - stay far away.

The only driving school that will refund unused hours in full.

Chris Eadon instructed me and taught me how to be safe on the road.
With a personal pass rate above 70% I trusted his judgment, this allowed me to pass the practical test with minimal faults!
A big thank you to RED and Chris for not just teaching me how to pass the test but preparing me for advanced driving.

Had a great experience with RED and in particular my instructor Shah Hussain. I had no driving experience when I started lessons with Shah and have passed my test today. He promotes good driving habits and is really good at breaking things down into small, simple steps until they becomes routine. Clearly a very experienced instructor.

Judit Veres, the easiest and best lessons I’ve had. Helped me pass my test first time and build so much confidence within the car and for the future. The way she teaches her lessons and makes the space feel safe and easy to chat and drive in makes for a comfortable lesson and an easy pass. She’s honest about your driving and will make you feel more confident when driving and addresses errors and areas to improve straight away so they don’t get worse. Would definitely recommend anyone to go with Judit for their driving lessons, it will make your test so much easier and passing so much quicker.

I just passed my driving test in Worcester, with my driving instructor Christine Jenkins. I am so thankful that I had such an amazing and supportive instructor. Christine has been so patient and understanding throughout this whole journey. I have never felt more relaxed, she lifted me up when I had days that I felt I couldn’t do it. The support I received was amazing and I would definitely recommend Christine to anyone needing lessons in the Worcestershire area. Thank you Christine for prompting me and showing me I could do it! I will be contacting Red to have further motorway lessons with Christine soon 🙂

Would not recommend Darran at RED Folkestone for young women or anxious drivers. An experienced learner reduced to tears during first local lesson and his approach did not change. Impatient, contradictory and stressful. At risk of losing confidence switched to another local instructor - not RED - have had no problems since.

I had an assessment lesson with Cornel Secara and he wasn’t the most enthusiastic person…He was very neutral, cold, and calm in an uneasy way. Driving is already stressful, so having someone who isn’t reassuring and clearly looks like they’d rather be elsewhere, isn’t helpful.

Thank you so much to my brilliant instructor Darren Thornhill, who helped me pass my practical driving test first time with minimal driving faults. Darren was always extremely accomodating to changes in timetable as well as being super supportive & easy to chat to. I would highly recommend to anyone sitting their practical at Lindwood test centre!

I feel very lucky to have found Darran as my driving instructor. He’s a great instructor, very patient, calm and friendly, and he always takes the time to explain things properly.

He has really helped me improve my driving and become much more confident behind the wheel. I also really appreciate the way he gives feedback — he tells you what you need to work on but always in a positive and encouraging way.

Every lesson has been useful and enjoyable, and I’ve learned a lot from him. I would definitely recommend Darran to anyone looking for a good driving instructor.

Michael Wenger has been an absolutely fantastic driving instructor and is a real credit to red driving school. He's endlessly patient and is a real calming presence in the car. He's a truly talented teacher with a real knack for explaining things in a really clear and helpful way. He not only fully prepared me for my driving test, which thanks to his teachings I was able to pass first time with only one minor fault, but also took the time to teach me further useful driving skills like motorway driving so that I'd be a safe and prepared driver not just for the sake of passing the test, but afterwards as well. I really couldn't have asked for a better driving instructor, so thank you Michael, and if anyone is looking for a driving instructor around Stevenage and Welwyn Garden City, you won't find a better one than Michael.

I passed first time with no minors after completing 32 hours with Laily Alkozai from scratch. We had a good experience and she fully prepared me well for my test. Thank you!!
