This hotel was nice & quiet for being off the main road. I didn’t like how the hotel lobby was open like hallways. It didn’t have a doorway entrance to get into the lobby. It’ was open all the time, no doors! Anyone can walk up and get on the elevator to access guests rooms. A hotel clerk was always sitting in the lobby at the desk. But I still felt a little unsafe.

I had an emergency happen just days before my vacation. I called Redeem Vacations to explain my problem and asked if I could cancel and reschedule my trip. I was not able to go on my vacation because of the emergency. They reviewed my documentation I sent them and were able to cancel my vacation, and allow me to reschedule at a later time. They were so understanding in handling my problem and did so in a professional manner.

The 5night 6 day voucher was perfect amount of time to experience Honolulu Hawaii, the Liui was a fantastic experience, the food was fantastic, the show was outstanding, Pearl Harbor experience was very educational, chilling to experience to visit the grave site memorial,great way to honor those fallen heroes. The sites and bites tour of the Island was breath taking high lite of the trip. Tour guide was fantastic I would of given a 5 Star rating had it not been for the 150 fee they charge me at the room for use of the towels for 5 days we we're there they tried to email you guys to pay that fee you never responded back We paid the fee.

Hotel was good but was given a room with one bed after I paid extra through redeem vacations for a 2 bed room, was told they do not upcharge at the hotel for an extra bed…needless to say I am disappointed that I had to pay more when I could have just called the hotel directly and asked for a 2 bed room without paying more. I also paid all taxes and fees ahead of time and then still had to pay the daily fee at the hotel?!

The room was clean and cozy but when I wanted to take a shower ai noticed that the water was Luke warm. It never got hot. So I ran the water for a few minutes and no change. I checked the water in the bathroom sink. It was hot then I checked the kitchen sink. It was hot. So I decided to call the front desk. She put in a work order for maintenance to come in the morning. They didn’t show up so I called again. Within minutes, maintenance came and was telling me that’s just how the water is. What???? How??? So he said he would soak to the manager. Manger called me and said there was nothing she could do. Huh??? Then she said she would call back. When she called me back she said that she spoke to several customers on my floor and they had no problems with their water pressure. Water pressure??? I’m talking about the temperature. So I did my own investigation with a couple that was walking to the elevator and asked them about their water situation and they said the water gets real hot in the kitchen and bathroom. So I called the front desk again. Finally the lady turned my complaint to her manager and he offered me an upgraded room and the water was hot. Why did I have to go through all that just to get hot water? That’s why I gave a 3 star.

But overall everything else was great.

My experience was wonderful with redeem vacations. They made everything easy. We loved our stay at Dunes Village! The location was perfect, and the beach access was just a short walk from our room, putting us right at the ocean. Our oceanfront room had everything we needed to cook breakfast and lunch during our stay. The room was clean, the air conditioning stayed nice and cold on the hot days, and the ocean view made the experience even better. We would definitely stay here again!
