My booking was cancelled without my consent, no refund was confirmed, and support has been sending generic responses for ten days

Since July 14, 2026, I have been trying to obtain a clear and concrete resolution from Redeem Vacations regarding my trip to Dubai, scheduled for August 23–27, 2026. Due to the suspension of flights from Kazakhstan to Dubai and the ongoing safety concerns, I initially requested a change of destination and later requested a refund of the money I had paid.

During ten days of correspondence, I received replies from several different support representatives. However, instead of an actual resolution, I repeatedly received essentially the same generic responses: “we are negotiating,” “we are waiting for the supplier,” and “the decision is up to the hotel.” I purchased the service from Redeem Vacations, yet the company continually shifts responsibility to an unknown third-party supplier and the hotel.

Most concerning is the fact that I repeatedly stated in writing that I did not authorize the cancellation of my booking unless the refund was confirmed in advance. Nevertheless, on July 18, a support representative informed me:

“Your booking has been cancelled on our end.”

Therefore, my booking was cancelled without my consent, while no refund was confirmed. I am now at risk of being left without both the trip and the money I paid.

Support also repeatedly pressured me to authorize the cancellation first, while warning that if the hotel supplier rejected the request, both the booking and the vacation incentive could be forfeited. This places the customer in an extremely unfair position: the customer is asked to voluntarily give up a confirmed reservation without receiving any written guarantee of a refund.

I provided information confirming the suspension of flights, but the company then demanded a separate official document from the airline confirming the cancellation of a specific flight. At the same time, they provided no clear processing deadline, no escalation or case number, and no contact details for a manager responsible for resolving the matter.

Other members of the same program have received refunds, changes of destination, or the opportunity to select another country in similar circumstances. Redeem Vacations has not explained why my case is being handled differently.

To date, Redeem Vacations has not clearly answered:

* Who cancelled my booking and on what authority;
* Whether my vacation incentive remains valid;
* Whether a refund will be issued;
* What amount will be refunded;
* When a final decision will be made.

I consider this level of service unacceptable. Instead of resolving the problem, the customer receives an endless series of repetitive responses from different representatives and is left without any guarantees.

I strongly advise other customers not to authorize the cancellation of a booking unless the company first confirms the refund amount, method, and processing timeframe in writing. Keep all correspondence and screenshots.

I require Redeem Vacations to escalate this case to management immediately, provide a written explanation as to why my booking was cancelled without my consent, and issue a full refund of the amount paid. Until the matter is actually resolved, this review will remain public and will be updated with any further developments.

This company is running a complete scam. I have meticulous documentation, including step-by-step screenshots and audio recordings of every interaction, yet they flatly refuse to acknowledge the evidence.

I was explicitly promised a "complimentary vacation" where I would only be responsible for the actual hotel taxes and fees. However, the company is drastically inflating these charges. I contacted the hotel directly to verify the actual taxes and fees for the stay, and they are less than half of what this company is demanding. When I confronted the company with this information, they refused to explain the discrepancy. Even going as far as to say that that’s what the hotel taxes and fees are. I don’t think these hotels would appreciate this company dragging their name and claiming false charges under it.

Furthermore, they are demanding payment for taxes and fees on a hotel they claim they haven't even selected yet, stating they will not book the room until I pay them upfront. The amount they are charging is more than double the tax examples listed on their own website.

When asked for a transparent, itemized breakdown of these fees, customer service refused to provide it. This is a classic bait-and-switch operation. They rely on the fact that victims will eventually just pay the inflated cost because it is still technically cheaper than retail price. But that is entirely beside the point. The vacation was advertised as "complimentary plus taxes and fees." Had they been honest and forthright about their own hidden service surcharges upfront, I could have made an informed decision. Instead, they chose deception.

Do not trust this company's positive online ratings. They are heavily discussed in scam-awareness groups across Reddit and other platforms. The positive reviews are clearly fabricated, bought, or manipulated to hide the reality of their operation.

Stay far away from this service. They are absolute con artists!!!!

The accommodation at hotel croydon is top tier. The beach was close and the customer service was excellent! The food also in the tavern by the pool was very well portioned and finger licking good.
