I’ve generally had a good experience with Remit Union and would recommend them. Most of the time, my transfers go through within minutes, which is one of the things I really like about the service.
I did have one experience where the money took several days to reach the beneficiary, and when I asked for a refund, it wasn’t dealt with as quickly as I expected. I think this is one area where their customer service could be improved.
Overall, I’m still happy with Remit Union. If they can improve how quickly they respond to and resolve issues when something goes wrong, I believe they could be one of the best money transfer services out there.

They normally work as expected of them…
They normally work as expected of them under the law. You only get to know their true colours when things do not go as expected, even it is their fault. I had a bitter experience when I sent money through them a couple of weeks ago and they didn't make the payment to the beneficiary on time and I demanded for a refund. It took them more than one week to refund the money it took them seconds them to deduct from my account. Once things go wrong, they would keep your money in their account as long as possible to earn some interest whilst the poor beneficiary in Africa continues to suffer.
I still use their services but not as I used to before that experience. I was using their services least once a week but now I hardly use them. There are competitive exchange rates around. I stayed royal to them and they betrayed my trust. I will never RECOMMEND their services to anyone, not even to my WORST ENEMY.
