Product was received

I preordered on the 7th of May and expected the preorders to be shipped at the start of June, the silence got me a little worried so I checked their socials everyday for updates. I saw a bunch of girls on instagram and Facebook comment saying that it was a scam. The comments eventually got deleted and I think the girls accounts also got blocked. I panicked obviously and sent an email out to restyla. A day later (19th June) I received an email saying my package was being shipped (I received the automated email before they even got back to my email lol) and I just received it today (21st June). The hairstyler seems to work fine and is actually so so so cute so I’m glad I didn’t get scammed 😭 but the company needs to have better communication and handle things properly. I wanted to like this product 100% but this whole situation really reflects poorly on the company 🫤 10/10 product, 1/10 customer service

SCAM!! 3 months no communication and no product

Ordered 7 March 2024 on preorder with estimated shipping time of 6-8 weeks. When it got to the 8 weeks I followed up with them because I hadn’t heard anything. They kept pushing it back week by week and keep promising it will be shipped and nothing. It is a scam and I’m now $200 out of pocket. They never respond to me and when I try to comment on their Instagram asking where my order is they delete my comments.

Update: They blocked me because of me asking where my order is.

Update response to the below: I had to verify my order with Trustpilot because you keep trying to get it removed. I showed them the confirmation, the evidence of you blocking me and all the correspondence. Do better.

Restyla is disappointing

Restyla and their lack of customer service was a disappointment.

Thousands of people pre-ordered this product and then had their originally promised delivery date pushed back 4-5 times with no communication or clarification. Restyla responded to a comment I made asking for more information about my order on their Instagram post telling me they had sent me a DM with updates but I never received any contact.

I left a review on their Facebook page as I couldn’t get a response and was blocked and they promptly disabled their customer reviews. They are censoring our right to unbiased reviews as paying customers. An honest business would respond to their customers and not block comments asking for clarification.

Update August 2024: Restyla has now flagged my review with Trustpilot and I have been asked to adjust the review or it will be taken down due to “defamatory” content. I am so disappointed that a true review of an awful experience is being censored. I have screenshots of everything that happened, I’m not the one to worry about.

I did eventually - after all of this - finally receive the product and have nothing nice to say about it so will save my breath. I also don’t know what I can say without them flagging me. This Trustpilot page was actually first set up by people going through the same things as me because we wanted to warn others.

Good luck to anyone purchasing from this company. I won’t buy from Restyla again.

UPDATE NOVEMBER 2024: Restyla will just not leave this review alone - their reply in November 2024 is funny, but also very mean, manipulative, and full of gaslighting. :(

There is quite clearly no confusion on my part. I was one of three customers who first created this page on Trustpilot so we could leave reviews after being blocked on Facebook and Instagram, just for asking when our purchases would arrive.

It’s okay Restyla, I have moved on with my life and you probably should too. My advice would be to put some effort into your customer service training so that any potential new customers will not be left disappointed like I was. I certainly will not recommend you or purchase from you again, so it’s time to stop wasting your time on me. Learn from your mistakes and work on being a trustworthy company (no lying in your responses to honest reviews is a good start!) at the very minimum :) Have a great day.

SCAM!!!

SCAM!!!! Pre-orders from March still not sent. Shipping dates pushed 5 times with no communication about why. Comments claiming company is a scam are being deleted and people are being blocked to hide their reviews. DO NOT PURCHASE. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM.

No confirmation email for my order was ever sent. I have no record of any purchase made to Restyla except the $200+ that was withdrawn from my credit card that is now being chased up by my credit card company.
I’ve been blocked on ALL social media accounts by Restyla. All my comments on their photos warning others have been deleted. My review claiming them to be a scam has been deleted as with all others who have come forward accusing them of being a scam
