Been using Rezdy for a while now and…

Been using Rezdy for a while now and it's been solid. Support team is helpful and gets back to you quickly, which is nice. The distribution stuff has definitely brought us some bookings we wouldn't have gotten otherwise. Does everything we need for our multi day tours and hasn't given us any issues. Would recommend.

Bait-and-switch pricing once you’re locked in

We signed up to Rezdy on the clear understanding that pricing was a monthly fee plus $1 per offline booking. That suited our fishing business perfectly — we are highly weather-dependent and primarily take bookings in person, while potentially moving to online bookings via a website in the future.

Throughout the entire setup and onboarding process, there was no mention whatsoever that we would later be told our plan was unsuitable, that we would be required to change plans, or that offline bookings would ever be subject to percentage-based fees. We were never told there was any requirement to be online or to use Rezdy for payments.

We invested months setting up the system, learning the software, and integrating it into our operations. Then, three to four months in — once we were comfortable and reliant on the platform — Rezdy abruptly informed us that we had to change plans because it was supposedly more suitable for our business.

When we asked to compare plans, we were pushed toward a Marketplace plan that:

Is not displayed anywhere on their website

Charges 3% of all bookings, online or offline

Applies even though we do not take payments through Rezdy

Applies even though bookings are manually entered

In other words, Rezdy is now seeking a percentage of our revenue for bookings they did not generate and payments they do not process.

When we stated that we wished to remain on the Foundation plan we originally signed up for, we were given an ultimatum: switch to the new plan within three days or leave the platform entirely.

This is not transparency or fair dealing. It is a classic bait-and-switch, timed precisely when a business is most embedded in the software and leaving is most disruptive.

Rezdy may suit businesses that operate fully online and process payments through the platform. For weather-dependent or in-person operators, proceed with extreme caution — the pricing you sign up to may not be the pricing you’re allowed to keep.

Extremely disappointing experience.

No clear way to cancel plan

If you want to cancel your plan, you have to first find their support email which is a struggle, and then you have to email them. Paid $300 for nothing didn't even use it. All the reviews on here complaining of the same thing and given they let you upgrade so easily from within your account I doubt it would be hard to add a cancel button in the same location and yet they seem to refuse to.

I registered and took a look inside the dashboard. I didn’t like it at all — it looks like something from the 1990s, completely outdated. I immediately unregistered and logged out. Totally uninteresting.

TRIAL TRAP. No Cancel Button. Several charges of $249 AGAINST MY WILL

After initiating a trial I discovered there was no accessible in-app method to cancel. I contacted Rezdy sales on two occasions to request termination and to halt the $249 USD billing attempts. A support representative, Craig Honeysett, indicated that pre-sales would respond to my repeated cancellation requests; however, no response was received, and today a $249 USD charge was processed despite my numerous emails requesting immediate cancellation and containing proof that I have never used their software.

This appears to constitute a deceptive billing pattern.

I have retained all correspondence and will dispute any unapproved charges with my financial institution. If nothing is done I will take further action.

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY.

They will TRAP you to steal your money - Dishonest Mechanism, it's a disgrace

I signed up for a trial and discovered there is no clear way to cancel inside the platform. I contacted Rezdy sales twice asking to cancel the trial and stop attempting the $249 charge on my card. No reply, no confirmation, and the charge attempts keep retrying.

This is deliberate, dark billing pattern. They are an absolute disgrace, it feels like robbery. There is NO CANCEL BUTTON, I got NO RESPONSE, JUST REPEATED PAYMENT PINGS.

I’ve kept records and will be disputing any unauthorized charges with my bank. Proceed with caution.

Rezdy using to be cutting edge

Rezdy used to be cutting-edge, but is no longer. It’s not been updated in any significant way in years. Rumors of a new platform exist, but I’m wondering if it’s just the prayers I’m hearing from subscribers. There are more glitches, patches, and workarounds than any other program I know. Now, the software looks like Wincruise from the early 2000's, and I don’t know if they’ll be able to fix it without scrapping the entire program and starting over. Maybe ChatGPT could help. Right now, I wouldn’t purchase it. We are cancelling after the summer season. We’ve spoken only to a handful of people. All support is on chat. The wrong answers are given for serious problems, only to open another chat and find out what the previous support agent said was totally wrong. It cost us thousands. Since their merger with Check Front and Regionado, it seems all time and attention is taken up in integrating these behemoths.

It is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to try to close your account with Rezdy!

We have tried for 6 Months to close our account. We have sent several emails, online chat etc and it is like a roundabout - they resopnd saying 'yes - we have closed your account' and then the next month we receive yet another email and we have to start all over again sending the chat/emails requesting to close the account. They can never find a record of previous communications.....and so the annoying and frustrating process begins again. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - there are dozens of other options out there!

SCAM ALERT!!!

We just try Rezdy for a month and want cancel the subscription, they confirmed but there is no way to cancel your subscription without them. We paid 2 months for no reason to them. We are still waiting their email to cancel our subscription.

I had a very disappointing experience…

I had a very disappointing experience with Rezdy’s customer service. Their staff came across as unnecessarily hostile and unwelcoming when I inquired about their services. Instead of a supportive approach, I was met with a rigid and accusatory tone, making it clear that potential customers are not valued. If this is how they treat businesses during the trial period, I can only imagine what ongoing support would be like. I’ve decided to go with a company that is more professional and welcoming. Would not recommend.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. Account not set up as discussed and not usable. Many promises made, but few delivered. Inconsistent contact and zero responsibility taken. The whole set up dragged out and used up the free period. I was assured that all things we need could be delivered within the time frame discussed via our initial zoom call. This did not happen! We were then charged after free the period was fished without having a working account. The rezdy account was NOT used by us in any way. A refund was denied. Do not use this service!

The below comment from Rezdy does not accurately reflect what transpired during the free period and how the set up unfolded. I wish I had read more of the reviews online prior to handing over the credit card details.

Despite the intricacies involved, our team put in every effort to ensure a comprehensive and accurate setup. Unfortunately, we faced challenges in obtaining necessary business details from your end, leading to an incomplete configuration.

Regarding the charge after the free trial period, we want to highlight that our terms and conditions, along with the service agreement you signed and the activation email sent, included a notice specifying your first billing date and amount. This was intended to provide full transparency, ensuring you had ample notice before any charges were incurred.

Stay away !

Once the onboarding is complete, forget about customer service. We have lost two months of our time waiting to get verified by their RezdyPay payment processor.
We have not been given full information about the process of verification initially.
Very unprofessional and expensive service.
I regret that we decided to use them. There are plenty of other and better alternatives than Rezdy.
Today we canceled our subscription but still received the bill for payment for monthly subscription.

It is essential to note that we requested additional documentation from you to address the issues flagged by Stripe. Unfortunately, the necessary documents were not provided, contributing to the extended duration of the verification process.

Regarding the service fee, we understand the impact this may have had on your experience. In light of this, we have provided a $99 service credit, which has been applied to your November 29th invoice. It is noteworthy that the only invoice in which you made a payment was the October invoice, as the December and January invoices were not charged.

👎 NO permit Champagne train old town scottsdale …

Champagne train in old town scottsdale is nothing short of a really inexperienced bus operator without the proper permits driving your son or daughter around! I emailed for proof of insurance and a dept of transportation license..
Noone responded.. Parent's keep your children safe! Review where they are going and with what companies are looking after them.

With deficiencies that are not solved over time

1. Problems creating availability:
Our business is hourly car rental. Therefore, the products require loading availability by slots of 1h 2h or 3h...
This load becomes endless, errors such as "long operation" or "an update is already running" appear. In the end, we need several days of work to be able to complete 4 months of availability.
This has been happening since we started using Rezdy 4 years ago and we still have no solution.

2. Problems integrating payments on our website through the API since Rezdy was not yet compatible with the European SCA regulations.

If these problems do not affect you, Rezdy is very complete and may be a good reservation system for you.
If you see something that doesn't work for you, don't expect them to fix it, look for another system.

Worth the price! Great product and perfect customer service!

Been a Rezdy's client for more than 6 years now and I can say I am more than happy with their service!
It's true that is a bit expensive and the price increased throughout the years, but they also improved the service introducing new features.

A couple of things could still be improved, but I really have nothing bad to say so far!

Moreover, the best part for me is the support center!

They always answer quickly and always (Always!) solve any kind of problem we have (or had).
They also always listen to our request (They really do) and try to find a solution to accomodate us!

If you work in Tourism and you are looking for an online booking platform, I would definitely recommend Rezdy!
