I ordered a gift card for a friend on 12/14/24. It didn't arrive until 12/30/24. I called to find out if it was ever sent on 12/24/24. I was told it was still being processed. I asked if I could cancel it and was given another number to call and did, but was not able to cancel it. I ordered an e certificate on 12/24/24 and expected it to me emailed to me in a a day or two. I did not received it until I sent an email on 1/08/25. I received a response on 01/09/25 with the certificate number. On 01/13/25 I received my credit card bill and it showed my card was billed on 12/14/24 for the first gift card with a $1.78 fee for getting a real plastic card and then on 12/24 for the e gift card. I would never order anything from Roaman's again.

My daughter spent $100 on 4 items having to pay $18 in shipping charges then found out one item will take almost two months to get shipped and one item to return because a bad fit cost another $10 to ship back so $28 in fees for nothing and clothes are made very cheaply.

Oh man, you know when will I learn? You know something, I think its pretty crappy they dont refund you your original payment but give you stupid E cards. I purchased 2 sweaters for me and my mother to wear on Christmas Eve. First off the quality was so bad it looked like it was made in a sweat shop. It was side bow sweater..mom got red and silver and I chose black and green. Fabric was so thin that It looked awful. The bow looked like it was made by kids and there was string hanging off of it. Anyways I returned it and waited forever for my E card and total was about 87 dollars back. Now, if I were to order clothes now with it...its less than that because I need to pay for shipping and I think it needs to be included without deducting that from my gift card. Thats just me. Now lets talk about pricing and the rip offs....these people are like a higher end TEMU for clothes. Clearance sales my bum..Their website is just dumb. I search for my size in clearance and what pulls up is not my size in clearance..what is this a good will in tech form how you organize your clearance items? almost 30 dollars for a pj top that doesnt include a bottom? Nah....you guys are awful. If it was better quality yes Id pay that. You should be ashamed of yourself on how you deceive your customers and clean their wallets out for low quality clothes. I wanted to like you guys I really did. I have been ordering from you guys for awhile and its just keeps getting worse and worse. Sweaters not warm and low quality ..your leggings for the money are not fair.

Next day shipping is a scam. if you look on the website it says:
Next Day
Delivered 1 business day from shipment date to the contiguous US, if ordered by 3 PM (EST). No PO Boxes.

However what you can't find anywhere on the website is that its only next day after the processing time which can take up to 2-3 days and weekends are not included

Made mistake of paying for order w/debit card. When I tried to track order I had lost order no at first and roamans said they had no record of order although they had already charged me 58.67. Finally found the order no I wrote down, called them back and was told order was cancelled due to item unavailability. Never recd email notice of that. Was also told I would not be billed until item shipped/which it obviously had not, yet my bank has already paid it. Had I used a credit card I could dispute charge, when you pay w/debit card it is nearly impossible to get money back. Always use credit card, not your debit card as this co sucks!

Cancelled order, but they won't cancel it. I haven't received a shipping email, so it should be cancellable. I'll instruct my delivery driver that I'm refusing to accept shipment and dispute it with my credit card.

This company (and their affiliates) need to be banned!!!

I have purchased a sweater recently, Not only did it take forever to order, but it was the WRONG order! I AM NEVER ORDERING FROM THEM AGAIN!

They lie. I was promised a delivery by Thursday or Friday and that with express delivery it would be shipped on Wednesday. I asked multiple times that I would have it by Friday and was told multiple times it would be by Friday or sooner. Complete lie. Customer service not only does not care, they are completely robots repeating the same words and zero real help. Zero standing behind the brand and obviously the could care less about customers.

If I could give them a minus 100 I would. They have absolutely no regard for there customers UNLESS you are making a purchase. Fraudulent activity and they could care less. Been a customer on and off for a couple of decades but NOT after today. Run don't walk to someone outside of their network of companies. Appalling!!!!!

Update 10/09/24 A consumer complaint was filed with the PA Attorney General's office to investigate Full Beauty Brands on-line point of sale application. Also, requested PA AG join (communicate) with other US state and territory AG offices for a comprehensive complaint given from reading other reviews this (deceptively removing the discount in transactions as they post) software defect seems to be a common occurrence. Just tired of being cheated by on-line companies. FBB should be held accountable.

* First item was a catalog item. (This is a KEY point.)
* All other items were selected from the web app with
SITEWIDE50 discount code being applied to the
line.
* Order total was $436.25 USD (because this website has cheated me before, I've started the habit of screen capturing the order prior to the post - therefore I have proof).

Because that first line item in the order wasn't an on-line app discounted item (instead a catalog quick-pick item which was comingled into the order), the program logic appears to remove the discount code from all other on-line selected line items in the order during the actual update/post into the tables. (For 30 years I've been designing, testing, documenting, deploying, and training on custom software in large ERP software packages at some of the largest entities in the world.) As a result, the order posted at $817.63 USD instead of at $436.25 USD.

I spoke to Gerry (customer service) out of Texas for about 30 minutes. She had no idea what was wrong or why the discount code was removed from the line items.

Of course, we waited and waited for a supervisor to pick up the call, but all were too busy - guess there are a lot of problems with Roaman's orders! So because there was nothing else Gerry could do, she cancelled the entire order. She also suggested I reenter the order (after 90 minutes the first time because the website responds so unexpectedly - I actually took the time to provide feedback about how unstable the app is using a link on the side of the page) but I'm "done" at this point. These sister companies of Full Beauty Brands, although I really like their clothing (generally it fits well and is reasonably priced) isn't worth this level of constant aggravation.

At this point, given the OTHER comments already visible about this company and its lack of system integrity, my recommendation is to save yourself the grief by not purchasing from Full Beauty Brands > Roaman's.

Incidentally, this same discount removing processing outcome happened to me last December, 2023 on the Full Beauty Brands on-line app. Lost $80 dollars then, but at this point, it just isn't worth doing business with this company.

I ordered a jacket that was advertised as $49.00. When I went to finish my order, it came to a total of $84.00. There was a site wide 50% off coupon, but I was overcharged $20.00.I called customer service to cancel my order. I was told I could not cancel. I have to return it. I'll have to pay a restocking fee and shipping. This company is obviously misleading customers and ripping them off. See other reviews of this company after. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. YOU WILL BE RIPPED OFF!!

Very bad. Ordering Department

My significant other placed an order a couple months ago. Ever since then there has been a $16.95 charge every month on the credit card. The explanation? She was given a $17 dollar discount on her initial purchase in exchange for a "free" 30 day trial for a member club, or whatever they call it. She has been burned with these free 30 day trial offers before (think amazon prime) so is very careful about that now. I believe it. She is adamant she did NOT agree to a "trial" membership. Buyer beware.

This company and the rest of them that are associated are big rip offs!!! If you should have to return something, it cost more money than what the actual item sells for. Also, because I didn’t make a purchase in six months, yet have been a lifelong member of Romans since I was a kid which is going back 60 years, recently closed my Roman’s card. In addition, they just closed my king size card too, so yesterday I made the decision to close the last one/Women Within, before they closed it. Not that it makes a difference I’m sure. But it made my credit score go way down and I’m literally so upset. They have really gone downhill over the years. You could tell by just the quality of the material they are using nowadays. I’m so disgusted! While I’m at it, I might as well add this too…. I can never use any of my points or rewards because their system was always down. I don’t know if anyone else ever had that problem. Either way, I will let all my friends and family know about all the negative reviews and issues with Roamans and their affiliates. I just wished they would have notified me first because we probably could have resolved this issue. Sorry for the long rant, but look elsewhere for your purchases.

The last pair of strength jeans, I purchased the zipper keeps unzipping, if I don't keep checking it, it falls down so far, I can't get the tab to pull it back up, then I have to get something to pull it out of the the little hole

Ordered a top for an event, which made me look pregnant, so I returned it. Got it on clearance ($100+ down to $18? Um, ok, whatever). I paid $8+ shipping. It took so long to arrive, but finally arrived and I returned it next day using the pre-authorized label which I had to print myself and then drop off at the post office for the return. I read about the new $10.99 restocking fee, which is a bit b.s if you ask me, so on my return of my initial total charge of $28+, they refunded only $8+. Not worth it! Next time I'll donate it to my local animal shelter as a warm blanket for a pup to sleep in.
Roamans, you lost another customer to stupid restocking fees and non-refundable shipping costs.

My aunt a decades long loyal customer who never had a late payment, bought 3 dresses, then was hit hard with horrible cancer I returned her 3 dresses for her, on time. they claim they never got them I told them I have the return receipts from staples they closed her account and are saying she owes them 600 dollars in late fees it’s now in collections 🤦‍♀️

Great store for getting plus size luxuries like cotton and rayon instead of the usual polyester nightmares. Clothes will fit, maybe run a bit large. They offer a beautiful rayon button-up top that I have bought for years in different patterns and colors. Before buying any clothing, I check Roaman's as well as Woman Within, which I believe is an associate company.

I ordered an item that showed a cost of $12.99. I added it to my cart. I also added another item that showed to be $24.99. A few minutes later, I went to complete my purchase and noticed that the cart total had nearly doubled. Both items had increased. But, when I'd went back to the items on the website, they still showed the lower cost. I reached out to customer service. Her explanation was that prices were subject to change without notice. If that includes while the item is in your cart and you are checking out that would seem to be a "bait and switch" which is illegal.

This company told me in order to price match i have to place another order. Send the 1st order back, That’s nonsense. I just don’t understand. I’m done
