The cruise package included everything we needed from flights, buses and our cruise making it so easy to book and understand the price we were paying which was great value. Support along the way from Rory’s team and our cruise team was wonderful ensuring all questions were answered and all information available.

As a senior solo traveler; I enjoyed every minute on the cruise from Southampton to the Fjords of Norway!

Went on our first cruise from start to finish it was brilliant. Everyone so helpful especially Tom and Janice.

Just back from a group trip to the Norwegian Fjords cruise on the MSC Virtuosa and it was fabulous. It was booked through Marble City travel and the customer service is second to none. We even had a rep on board with us. The WhatsApp group setup by Rory's Travels is a good way to stay in touch especially for the solo travellers and to meet up if you want. We had a table in the evening where some of us would meet up including Janice (rep) and catch up, we also had other solo travellers join the table from outside the group. It was a very social table.
I wouldn't book through the ship again for excursions as it was overpriced and as I discovered it was cheaper to book with a company on the day we docked as they are waiting on the quayside as you disembark.
Would recommend the trip, the scenery is stunning and on board is amazing, your every need is catered for.

We travelled on the MSC Virtuosa cruise to the Norweigan fjords in July as part of Rory's Travel Club and I could not recommend this trip highly enough. There was excellent support from Tom and his team in Marble City Travel in Kilkenny from start to finish. Tom was in Heathrow when we landed on day 1 to make sure everyone was ok/got on their coach transfer to Southampton and was also in Southampton upon our return to ensure a smooth transfer back...this was very much appreciated, and Tom waited until all passengers had their luggage...no marines were left behind!

Rory's Travels set up a Whats App group for anyone travelling on the trip...it was completely optional but we found it so helpful in terms of tips from fellow travellers and updates/information from Tom and the team. An exceptional aspect in terms of passenger support was the fact that Tom had a member of his team, Janice, on board the cruise and available to help throughout the trip. Janice went above and beyond to link in with solo passengers in particular, and was an incredible link for us travelling as a pair. Having Janice on board and the Whats App group meant you could step in or step out as suited your individual holiday needs and interests, but to have Janice on board was so, so helpful for us a first time cruisers and helped us make lovely connections with the solo travellers and others. Janice is a mind of information...so knowlegable, welcoming and also so personable...we were very lucky to have had Janice and the support from Marble City Travel on our trip and this made all the difference. Massive thanks to Janice!!

The food on board was very good...the buffet restaurant was v busy at times but everyone is assigned a restaurant for your evening meal...3 courses served to you with a good selection of choices each evening. We also booked the Speciality Dining for 4 evenings...the Butcher's Cut steakhouse was really lovely as was the French/Vietnamese Indochine restaurant...the Tepanyaki resturant was really good...great food and lots of fun...the tacos restaurant was absolutely grand but the other 3 were better. That said, if you didn't book the speciality package you would still have a very good choice each evening and could book one or two restaurants along the way.

The ship, facilities and staff on MSC Virtuosa were excellent...we were very glad that we had a balcony and enjoyed that extra space but also appreciated waking up in the morning and having a coffee looking out onto UNESCO world heritage sight...incredible! The fjords were the star of the show for sure...the ports are small...this is where people live and work...they are preserving the ports so there weren't loads of stalls or traders which appealed to us.

We booked trips for each day as we wanted to see the Norweigan landscape further but the stand out experience was the Sky Lift at Loen....the views were truly breathtaking...a real pinch me moment. Worth noting this trip booked out very quickly on the MSC app but we managed to book it at the port as an afternoon trip...it worked out at about €135 each which included our bus to/from Loen and the Sky Lift ticket. The journey was 1 hour each way and we avoided the crazy queues that apparently other people encountered going in the morning. We had about 2 and a half hours at the top of the viewing point which allowed us time for lunch and lots of photos... this was 100%the highlight of our trip.

One tour guide explained the Norweigan summer is quite short from early July until mid August and at our first stop, Allesund, they had only had 4 days sun since May...we hit on a sunny day but there had been snow the previous week! Friends of ours did this trip at Easter and due to bad weather were unable to stop at 2 ports...definitely consider the weather/time of year you book. I also recommend booking your day trips in advance as they seemed a little more expensive on board and were also in Sterling when booked on board.

All in all, a trip that will live long in my memory...stunning scenery, excellent ship/staff/food/facilities and met some fabulous people...don't hesitate, book this trip and thanks to all at Rory's Travels and Marble City, in terms of group travel and passenger support...you've nailed it!!

Just back from the Norwegian Fjords cruise, an amazing trip. Tom and Janice from Marble city couldn't have done any more for us.
Janice took all the solo travellers under her wing and we had great craic. The fjords were amazing and we had the perfect weather too, thanks to all at Rorys travel.

Family of 4,We booked 1 night in Narrow Water Lodges through Rorys Travel club & it did not disappoint. We all loved it so much we booked a 2nd night & our friends & their kids also came down .
Great deal, along with the Skypark discount,which is only 10/15mins away from the lodges. The kids absolutely loved both. . Thanks again we will definitely be back

The site always has great deals that we availed off and it was so easy to book, I'd definitely recommend the site as it has brought us to places that we wouldn't have thought of.

I have booked 4 different hotels using Rory's Travel club. Always great hotels and wonderful offers. My favourite, so far, is the Dunboyne Castle Hotel. Beautiful hotel and so much to see in the Boyne Valley area. Great location and able to walk into the village . Taxi to Maynooth was well worth the 23E as so much to see . We also loved the Hillyard House and been there twice this year via Rory's Travel Great location and wonderful staff . Good food. So easy to make a booking using Rory's travel. Either by phone or with the hotel . Keep sharing your offers. We love them. PS Hoping for a Belfast Hotel in August lol

Just wanted to thank Rory's travel club, I have availed of some offers recently.
Firstly, Bellinter house Hotel, fantastic offer, €149 main course, drink & B&B for 2. Beautiful hotel & grounds & spa.
We then used it to stay in River Court Hotel in Kilkenny, actually stayed 2 nights, again €149 dinner, drink and B& B. Another fabulous deal from Rory's Teavel Club. Thanks.

This is by far the best club I've ever joined. For a small yearly fee I have travelled to India with the group and done lots of nights away in Ireland the last one was The Anner Hotel in Thurles with a night at Jim O' The Mill what a brilliant time we had meeting lovely people through the group. I want to go on every trip but obviously can't 🙄 I pay €24 per year that's membership for the regular and group trip emails which are sent a few times a week. 100% recommend Rory’s Travel Club 👌

I am very grateful for Rory’s Travel Club which facilitates my solo female travel with groups in safety. I have met truly lovely people on my trips here in Ireland.
Have been twice to Roryfest and the craic was mighty both times. I enjoyed the flexibility of the RTC weekend to spend time alone in the field/ countryside camping, reading and struggling with my portable bbq in the high winds and constant rain balanced with loud live music, the Drink, the very warm welcome from lovely Jennifer and generous Smiler at Healy’s pub and deep chats with well- travelled farmer Padraic in the Cowshed.
I highly recommend RTC to others. A bargain at €12 annually. I love to read the weekly group trip emails and have met many who have travelled far abroad. This club is great for travelling tips.
I initially joined RTC as a widowed parent. Age 16 in Spain my daughter warned me “Mum, this is our last holiday together. No more!”
However, she changed her tune when she realised she would miss out on her usual all expenses paid free holiday abroad. We have been to Malta and Amsterdam since then. Spain together this year, and she is asking for Greece and Rome next year 😆
I will retain my RTC membership however, as with each event I meet new people who are likeminded and enjoy socialising, good times and travel. I have met previous RTC friends each time I am at an event. The Howth Cliff Walk with the group in March was fantastic.

Just back from Bonnie Scotland with Rory's travel club. This is my 2nd trip but my 1st guided tour. It was absolutely brilliant. From the time I boarded the coach at Dublin airport, the holiday started. Frank our guide and George our driver were fantastic. Can't believe we fit so much in and got to see as much as we did. The hotel in Drumfries was lovely, the staff were excellent and the food was really good. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see Scotland.

Having been at roryfest 1 in ballycastle and every year since I can say that the roryfest is a fantastic weekend. However rorys travel club need to advertise this event sooner. Maybe late may or early June. It is a great weekend with people from all over Ireland. Healys bar/ music venue is central to this great weekend.

I joined rorys travel.over a year ago.and i must say its best 12 euros.i spend..i have even.got more people to join..because i told them of my experience. With rorys travel...my last outing was in Ballycastle. Last weekend..it might have rained..put the people i met and talked to.was amaxing..it was just all fun...so looking forward to my next adventure...thers so many..i havent decided yet...thank you rtc..

I had my first trip with Rory's Travel last weekend and it was also my first time camping. I really enjoyed it and will definitely do both again! M
