I honestly don’t have enough words to thank Roland Brothers, especially Bibi, for everything they did for me and my mum during one of the most heartbreaking times of my life.

Losing my mum was devastating, and having to arrange for her to be repatriated back home to Grenada was something I never imagined I would have to go through. I was overwhelmed with grief and didn’t know where to begin. But from the very first conversation with Bibi, I felt that my mum was in safe and caring hands.

Bibi showed me so much kindness, empathy and genuine compassion. She didn’t make me feel like I was just arranging a service — she treated my mum with dignity, respect and the tenderness she deserved. That meant more to me than I can ever put into words.

The whole process was taken completely out of my hands. Roland Brothers dealt with everything for me, allowing me to focus on grieving and being with my family rather than worrying about paperwork, arrangements and logistics. They kept me informed every step of the way, including letting me know when my mum had left the UK and when she had arrived safely in Grenada. Those calls and updates gave me such comfort at a time when I was emotionally exhausted.

Knowing that my mum was being cared for and that she was making her final journey home safely gave me a sense of peace when I needed it most.

The service was truly fantastic from beginning to end. Professional, compassionate, caring and completely reassuring. And considering the exceptional level of service we received, the price was also excellent and very reasonable.
I will forever be grateful to Bibi and everyone at Roland Brothers for the way they looked after my mum and supported me through such an incredibly painful time.

You took away so much of the worry and gave me the space to grieve.

I asked for a quote to transport my brother's ashes from Cornwall to York. They quoted £1,710. Luckily a reputable firm quoted £295.
I have discussed this with friends and relatives. They are so shocked that a funeral director would try to rip off a bereaved person. You expect dodgy dealing with car sales etc, but in all my many years I've never heard of a funeral director treating a potential customer this way. Zero stars would have been a good option.

Ive just contacted Rowlands as i want my body to be Cryonically preserved. And needed approx costs this end to attend my body at death and ship me to CI in the usa. Ive just received a message back with approx costs and a personal phone number if i need more help. This is what i call service! Fantastic keep up the great work.

Words cannot fully convey my gratitude for the Rowland Brothers. The entire team made my mum's funeral remarkably stress-free and smooth, with everyone going the extra mile, particularly Carly and Adam. I felt constantly supported and at ease, even on one of the most challenging days of my life.Their service was exceptionally priced, considering the quality provided. The numerous personal touches were deeply appreciated, and I believe my mum would have cherished them too.

We used Rowland Brothers new Addington for my mum's funeral, they have been nothing but kind, professional and understanding why going through the whole process, big thanks to Jackie, who was our main point of contact to help arrange the funeral, she was always available when we need any help or questions answering and went through everything with us why arranging the funeral, thank you to Tony and colleagues for looking after my mum and bringing her to the crematorium and to Beaulieu, the celebrant who was also so helpful, kind and supportive and and available if we needed anything, why planning the service, which was very beautiful, they all made the whole thing as smooth and stress free under the circumstances, we could not of asked for a better experience.

I cannot express to you how grateful I am for the Rowland Brothers. Every single person who worked on my mums funeral went above and beyond to make the whole experience as stress free and easy as possible (especially Carly and Adam). I felt comfortable and supported throughout the day. They made one of the hardest days of my life that little bit easier.

Great, sensitive, considerate organiser of our fathers cremation, I got the impression they really care for us in our time of grief. On the day of the funeral they were unobtrusive and just ensured things happened as needed.

Rowland Bros David, Courtney and the team were incredible. During the very difficult time of losing my Father, they made the whole process seamless and helped us make difficult decisions and at every turn treated us and dad with care and respect. On the day they helped us through every step and although heartbreaking the professionalism of the team helped the day run perfectly. Everybody said it was a beautiful service. We were delighted with the way that everything went so smoothly before and during the funeral. David in the Purley office made the planning simple and facilitated all of the elements with great communication. Peter and his team were very professional and provided a calming presence during the funeral. Mike (the celebrant) made the service flow with compassion and obvious expertise. Many of the attendees have mentioned what a success it was and how it gave Tom a beautiful send off.

My Father passed away in late February and Jan and her team at Rowland Brothers were on hand to help my brother and I at this very difficult time.

They made the whole funeral process seamless, made some great suggestions for the funeral and introduced us to a wonderful Celebrant who provided a beautiful service on the day.

Odette at Rowland Brothers office at 434 Limpsfield Road CR6 9LG reminded me that great old fashioned service is still out there. The genuine warmth and sympathy and professional attitude not only of this kind lady, but the entire company, and the compassion shown was something that helped me smoothly get through this most harrowing of times. I lost my beautiful wife and don't know how I would have got through the mist without the support she provided. I commend this most excellent company to you.

Masonry Brochure

I enquired about a masonry brochure online and because my mum is not Fone savvy and it would have taken ages for her to look at the brochure online (she is 84) I emailed Rowland Brothers to ask whether they could send us a brochure that she could have a look at. Within an hour I received an email from Steve and my brochure is on its way. This morning I got an email from Chloe saying if I have any questions or needed a quote to get back in contact with her. This is 100% fantastic customer service.

my mum’s funeral was ruined by this company we spent 1800 pounds for white carriage n horses followed by 4 black cars to follow hours making all the arrangements which was completely ignored on the night before the funeral instructions were given for the carriage n cars in certain way before one way system n details of what flowers would go on the top of carriage.The carriage came in the wrong way n had the difficulty of turning round 2000 worth of flowers was crammed into the carriage with cars with no roof racks for the overload flowers on lookers were in tears it was a shambles we spent 7500.00 with Rowlands please think before u make the same mistake The accounts manager is very rude gives threatening speech about payment lefted with a very red face when the money was paid could not apologise enough kept making excuses my mum was 91 her family knew Tony Rowland for years attending Benhans n Chincharo funerals this company needs to sort out Staff training

The young lady dealing with me made all the arrangements. She was very kind, patient and professional. She explained all procedures and communicated with me all the way through. It all went very smoothly, from her contacting a celebrant, helping me with the paperwork, organising everything through to the day of the cremation. I did not feel I was pushed into spending more than I wanted. When changes were made to the order of service they did their best to accommodate my wishes.
The day of the Celebration of Life also went very smoothly too. They made sure we knew what to do and when. At such a difficult time, it was reassuring to know other people were in charge and I did not have to worry.
All who attended the service remarked on how dignified and well-organised the occasion was.
I was very pleased with the services of Rowland Brothers and definitely recommend them.
