RSM Driving School Reviews

After a discouraging experience with two previous instructors, I finally found Ripon from RSM driving School, and it made all the difference. Ripon is incredibly calm, patient, and professional. He stayed focused on exactly what I needed to improve and gave me the confidence I was missing. He doesn’t just teach you to drive; he pushes you to pass with excellence. If you’re struggling to find the right instructor, look no further.

I would highly recommend Hamid and RSM driving school to anyone who is looking to learn to drive, or as a refresher after not driving for a while, as in my case, in Birmingham. Hamid was very understanding about my situation, and very thorough and patient in his teaching. Big thanks to Hamid!

I passed my driving test and I’m very grateful to Imran Arif for his support throughout the process. He is a patient, friendly, and professional instructor who explains everything clearly and makes sure you understand each step properly. He helped build my confidence and always stayed calm during lessons, which made learning much easier. Thanks to his guidance and encouragement, I felt fully prepared on test day. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and supportive driving instructor.

My instructor Muhammad Malik was amazing. He got me test ready in a few lessons. Was very understanding and taught me very well.

Loved every single lesson I’ve had with imran arif. He was more than a teacher but turned into a life long friend. He was calm, patient and willing to teach. Would highly recommend to stick with him from the get-go, you won’t regret it!

My instructor, Ripon, was very experienced with the Kings Heath area. He was extremely patient and helped me a lot throughout my lessons. I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor highly recommended. Thanks to Ripon and RSM🙌

My driving experience with my instructor Imran Arif was an absolute delight. The best experience ever. I was a very slow learner but he understood me and was very patient. He is the best instructor so far. I passed my test yesterday.

Passed first time. Aftab from RSM Driving School was the best driving instructor I could hope for and taught me how to drive from beginner to test in two months. Aftab taught me step by step how to drive, making sure I felt confident at each stage.

I was very nervous to take up driving, especially as I was working most days from 9 - 5 most days. Aftab was always very accomodating and flexible with his teaching schedule. I am incredibly grateful to Aftab for his support and guidance, I would recommend him as a driving instructor to anyone.

Saima is an absolute angel! I had a few different driving instructors over the years but she is the only one to make me feel so at ease, and enjoy each lesson and look forward to them. She has been patient, kind and very helpful in each and every lesson.

I finally passed today thanks to Saima’s tips, encouragement, and endless support and I would 1000% recommend her!

Highly recommend Imran Arif

I passed my driving test on my second attempt and I honestly couldn’t have done it without Imran. He’s calm, patient, and really good at explaining things clearly, especially when nerves kick in.

After my first test, Imran helped me understand exactly what I needed to improve and worked on those areas until I felt confident. Lessons were always well structured and focused, and he made sure I was properly prepared rather than just rushing me to test.

Imran doesn’t just teach you how to pass — he teaches you how to drive safely and confidently. I’d highly recommend him to anyone looking for a supportive and professional driving instructor.

Past first time very good instructor no messing around

I took my driving lessons with Nila. She taught me really well. She explained everything patiently and clearly. I was able to learn properly. She helped me alot to pass my road test and get my license. All thanks go to Nila. Thank you so much.

Alhamdulillah, passed my driving test on the first attempt thanks to Usman. Very patient, professional, and clear in his teaching. He builds confidence and prepares you really well for the test. Highly recommended!

Danish helped me pass 😏 5* thank you Rsm

I have been having lessons with Muhammad Razzaq since around June 2025. After finding out I was pregnant with my second child, I needed to pass my driving test before I have the baby. Yesterday on the 08/01/2026, I passed my driving test first time with 2 weeks to spare before the baby is here, all thanks to Muhammad. I would recommend RSM driving school to anybody who is looking to have driving lessons! Muhammad was calm, understanding and provided really clear information and instructions when teaching. Thank you again for your guidance!!

Had a very good experience i only did two lessons with my instructor named yassar and passed my test

I passed my test first time with Imran Arif as my instructor, after less than a year since starting my first lesson. Imran was very patient but also challenges you to get outside of your comfort zone. Every lesson was a valuable experience and I felt myself improving with each one. Imran was also very flexible and was able to provide me with lessons that suited my busy schedule. Would highly recommend Imran Arif if you’re looking to pass your test on the first attempt!

I 100% recommend Ripon from RSM Driving School. I learned to drive for the first time at the age of 35 and passed my test on the first attempt, entirely thanks to Ripon’s teaching. He is incredibly patient, non-judgemental, and structured in his approach. He made sure even the smallest mistakes were addressed and always prioritised safe driving above everything else. I was extremely nervous at the beginning, but Ripon’s calm and supportive teaching helped me gain confidence and pass successfully.
