Bought a dress for £43 and was absolutely awful nothing like the picture atall couldn’t get a refund so lost my money. Do not purchase from here

Stay away from this scamming company. Ordered a dress which was £48, the quality was absolutely shocking. They refused a refund, lots of back and fourth offering me different amounts as a refund. Finally agreed to full refund. I paid £10 to send back to china and they have sent it back to me!!
Absolutely disgusting stay away!

Returned to China 6 weeks ago at cost of £26 but still no refund they keep blaming royal mail, but its waiting customs clearance which is down to company

TOTAL SCAM - MUST AVOID! CBA with the long story but clothes are AWFUL. Requested refund, finally got returns address, paid £20 to return it, and despite providing tracking info - six months later, still not had a refund. It's an AI robot that replies on emails. NOT A UK COMPANY. DO NOT USE@@@

There wasn’t a minus - sign to put in front of the first star! Normally I do my due diligence before buying however, I was in desperate need for a dress to a family wedding, the 1st alarm should have been the length of time it took too deliver it! 2nd alarm was when I emailed for a return address, and was given it with a reply email instead of being sent a QR code and a tracked label to print & put on the actual parcel, and had to be responsible for the cost of return which I paid £22.70 on top of the £52.00 I paid for the dress. I have been emailing back & forth (20 all in), of them asking me for a tracking no. I explained there is no tracking no. As you refuse to pay customers to send items back, I told them that I have sent it back with proof of posting a service where you can prove that it was sent by me through RoyalMail and only have their word that they haven’t received it yet, leaving me wait & wait for my refund! I stated with all the back and forth with all this inconvenience would they not just refund me on good faith that I have sent it as I sent them the proof of posting receipt. I returned it 1st class, 7 days ago (27/04/2025 - 5 working days inclusive), I also had another parcel to return, (different company), on the same day, same country with free returns and I have had confirmation from the company to confirm they had not only received the returns but have in deed refunded my £105.00. Made that make sense why RubyMae haven’t received mine? Surely their should be a law UK or Internationally where companies who set out to defraud it’s customers still be able to still trade and have an up and running website for other people to order from and being unaware of what these people are up to! It’s a bad day when you have to go search review pages to find out what scam they are carrying out on unsuspecting customer! I APOLOGISE FOR THE LENGTHY REVIEW I AM MAD!

Scam!!! Order not sent. Kept receiving emails saying it had been delayed, was on the way etc. Requested a refund which they refused.

Dress arrived 17 days later ! UK based not ! I queried by email and they told me it is UK based, but had to send return to an international address! Very strange . Even though return address was in UK as stated on the parcel ! Dress was too small, fabric poor quality ! Thank goodness I paid by PAYPAL. Reported the problem tonight to PayPal and received the full refund including postage within minutes.
Buyers BEWARE ! Looking £30 to return to international address ,said I could keep the dress ( of course , I paid for it 🙄) but give me a 30% discount on next purchase. Don’t think so RubyMae Uk . Nothing but ripping off your customers 😡 Save your money 💰 DO NOT BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE . ABSOLUTE JOKE / RIP OFF / MONEY GRABBERS

Like everyone else I lost money by not being able to return and get refunded for a dress which was poor quality and way smaller than advertised. Do not buy!!!

This company is a scam it steals images from other fashion websites and lists that dress for sale on theirs when you purchase a dress they send you something that doesn’t even look close to the image on their website. One website I noticed they have been stealing images from is babyboofashion.co.uk compare the images. I have bought from both I high recommend babyboofashion their quality is worth the money and you get the actual product.

When I asked for a refund I was told I could have a 20%discount for compensation. I have denied and requested a full refunded they have not yet replied.

Do Not Buy From This Company!!
The item took forever to be delivered.
Item received differed to images and when asked to return was offered a 15% discount on another item rather than a full refund.
You also have to pay to return goods to China tracked so around £12

This company is not based in the UK, and it took forever for my order to arrive. I wanted to return a dress because the quality was terrible and the size was even worse.

When I reached out to the RubyMae team for a return address, they responded with an email saying they could offer an exchange or store credit at an additional cost, but no refund was possible! Now, I’m left with no dress for my birthday and no money.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!

Ordered a dress for £45 (which they are claiming is half price, would have been even more cross if paid £90 for it) The material was very cheap and dress didn’t look anything like advertised on website. Tried to make a return but the said nothing can be done as it’s a sale item. Everything on their website is always in the sale which means no one can ever get a return. Will never use the website again.

What an absolutely terrible company! I purchased a dress for £43 and it arrived after 3 weeks. The material was cheap felt and very poor quality, it bared no resemblance to the advertised dress. I asked for a refund and they have refused against policy. Do not buy from this company they are a bunch of rogues

Awful experience, ordered a blazer dress 2 months ago and still has not be received. Have emailed the company numerous times and been told the same statement that it is on its way but I am checking the delivery status link and this has not changed from the 9th December 2024. Absolute joke, I'm out the money with no dress to show for it and left with no other option but this review given the lack of update from their contact email address!

The worst quality dresses that arrived 3 weeks late. Nothing like pictured on the website and definitely stolen images from other websites. Tried to refund and they tried to offer 60% discount option. NO THANK YOU.

I opened a case with AMEX who are dealing with the issue on my behalf. Also, the trust pilot rating on their website is FAKE.

Despite the name rubyandmae. uk, all items are shipped from China which isn’t made very clear.
3 weeks after ordering I received a dress that was mildly similar to the one I had ordered. It was cheap, poorly made and NOT the dress in the picture.
They had STOLEN an image from Club L London’s website and used it to advertise their cheap version.
I sent them emails with screenshots of both websites, images of the dress etc and they offered me a 60% off discount code. I was absolutely not going to shop there again so I said I wanted a full refund which they declined and eventually settled at a 30% refund and allowed to keep the dress to avoid shipping fees (going straight to a charity shop).
Don’t be mislead by the .UK - this company is a scam!
