I have been participating in the Warrington Running Festival since 2023. It has been a wonderful experience. RunThrough events are really good, excellent support on the road, and well-managed. Happy to get a beautiful medal to keep the memories. Well done, team RunThrough :)

I took part in the RunThrough Lulworth Cove 55K and, overall, it was a challenging and enjoyable event.

The route itself was fantastic but definitely tough, with some great scenery and plenty of challenging sections. Unfortunately, the route marking could have been much better, with a few areas where it wasn’t clear which way to go. This took away from the experience at times and made navigation more difficult than it needed to be.

The aid stations were another area that could be improved. The selection of snacks and refreshments was fairly poor for a 55K, and I felt there could have been a much better variety of fuel available for runners tackling a long and demanding course.

On the positive side, the staff and volunteers were brilliant. Everyone was friendly, encouraging and helpful throughout, which really made a difference, especially during the tougher sections.

Overall, a challenging and scenic 55K with great staff, but better route marking and a more substantial selection at the aid stations would make this a much stronger event.

At the weekend, I ran the Cheshire half marathon in Macclesfield. My mum was a spectator. At about mile 11, we were running down a narrow country lane where a man had passed out. There were people surrounding him including a marshal. My mum was close by and it apparently took the ambulance over 40minutes to get to the location. The ambulance driver arrived with no information, asking my mum if “someone had gone down.” He also said he hoped they hadn’t died as it would create a lot of paper work. This level of safety and lack of communication is just not acceptable when you’re encouraging people to run such distances (and making a profit from it). I barely saw any marshals out on the remote course.

I really hope the man who passed out was ok (I’d be grateful for any info). I’m not writing this message to pull down Run Through, but I really hope a serious refocus is put on participant safety and things improve. This is just not ok.

I’d booked to do the chase the sun tatton park 10k race for August 19th in march this year. I’d received confirmation email of the event. Fast forward to a week before the race and I was double checking the details of the race. This is when I notice that August 19th isn’t a date for a race. I try to check different sources and it looks like the race was moved to the 2nd September. However, I had received no communication from RunThrough regarding this. I couldn’t do this new date so I requested a refund. Now it has been weeks of them promising the request has been sent it just needs to be approved. I don’t believe that it has actually been sent, which is why they keep delaying any sort of real response. What an absolute joke of an organisation. They have took my money but won’t give it back. Their customer service is shocking and I will never book anything with them again.

Really enjoyed it. Very well sign posted and a great route. Bagged myself a PB too!

Thorpe Park 10k - what you great event. Easy parking, decent toilets, a welcoming team in the hub and an efficient bag drop. It's a well organised, two lap route around the park and the service road. Plenty of cheerful volunteers and marshals. AND you get to go into the park afterwards if you want too. Thank to all the volunteers and crew for putting on a great event.

I took part in the Snowdonia 12K event, the first time this distance was organised. And what a fantastic course! Tough but very rewarding, the views from the top were breathtaking.
Very well organised event, very supportive and helpful staff and marshals 😊 And a big shout out to the MC lady!

An incredible event from start to finish! It was well organised, the staff/volunteers were incredibly supportive, and the entire atmosphere was buzzing with positive energy. Navigating that breathtaking, challenging terrain was an unforgettable experience. Thank you to all who made this happen, will definitely be back next year!

Awesome and unique race that's fairly well supported. Definitely not a PB course though as it's very winding. Definitely a bonus getting free entry to the park after. Made full use of that and had a fab day out.

Loved every minute of it. Atmosphere was great. Route clearly laid out.
Marshalls' were clapping everyone on to keep morale up.

I loved my 5k race with RunThrough at Battersea Park. I'll start with the finish line. The last 20 meters or so was full of people cheering and as you cross the finish line you get greeted with really positive staff handing out medals. Then you get free food, yes free food, snack bars and drinks. When you turn up and collect your bib the vibes are great, everyone is so friendly and this continues onto the course. I got chatting to people and its clear there is a really positive atmosphere. As a wheelchair user it's great that there are no barriers to entry and you get a lot of positive comments. Looking forward to my next race. I did find the booking process a little clunky, but thats just a minor niggle.

I had entries for the Nottingham Running Festival on the 30th August which was cancelled. Other than a text on the morning of the event I have received no further communication regarding a refund or credit. All I get is an automated response to the emails I have sent and upon messaging on social media I was advised to email (from a most likely automated response). There is no contact number and no one seems to care!

Firstly, Run Through used to offer category winners a voucher off a subsequent race. In 2023, this was £20 off. In 2024 it was down to £10, Now there's nothing. No acknowledgement of the significant achievement of being placed first in your age category.
Secondly, this event (Derby Running Festival) was a shambles. The car parking arrangements were woefully inadequate which, combined with associated road closures resulted in gridlock in the whole area, and random parking causing upset in the neighbouring villages.

I have now received an offer of £10 off a subsequent booking, but only after posting the original review. A friend of mine also came first in her age category and she did not receive any prize until after she chased RunThrough. I check my Spam folder from time to time and am pretty sure no email went there, so it seems pretty clear that RunThrough did not email their age category winners on this occasion, contrary to the claim in their reply.

Frome was well organised with great friendly marshalls . However, the 5/10k route was a bit boring as it went out of town as the 10k started last there were bearly any supporters along the route on the way in! But back in the park there was a good atmosphere. Thanks to all involved .

Great event in Engelberg. The organizers were very professional. Would definitely buy ticket to one of their trail race events in the again in the future :)

An enjoyable experience with helpful and friendly staff and volunteers. The races themselves were well organised, including leading runners out by their predicted finish times.

I believe that podiums should always be performed for all events and all distances. Some events have them, whilst this one does not. At GP Oulton Park the podiums are not being performed.

Whilst I finished 4th on the day, missing out by only three seconds, had I finished 3rd this would have been disappointing. I finished 2nd a year ago and there was no podium performed back then either. I provided this feedback back a year ago, however there are still no podiums at this event. Also another club member finished 3rd female, but disappointingly did not experience the podium. This was disappointing as this was her first top three finish at any race.

Ran Marlow half marathon organised by Run Through. It was a fantastic event, very well organised, great friendly staff and the event village had a great atmosphere. Would definitely run this event again as well as other run through events!! Thank you!!

Appalling customer service and hide behind an email address with no telephone number. They sub contract their booking to Lets do this who also will not give a phone contact. Please do not waste your time and money

I have run many races with Run through events my last race was the Newark Half Marathon I have never had any issues all seem to go smoothly and well organised
I would highly recommend them
