I recently placed an order with Saffron Alley and wanted to share my experience.

There was an issue with one of the meat packs in my order where the vacuum seal had loosened during transit. I contacted customer service to clarify the situation, and I was very impressed with how professionally it was handled.

Christopher David responded promptly, provided clear explanations, and took my concern seriously. After reviewing the photos I shared, they advised me not to consume the affected pack and immediately issued a £14 gift card as a goodwill gesture. The communication throughout was polite, transparent, and reassuring.

While issues can occasionally happen during delivery, what really matters is how a company resolves them — and in this case, Saffron Alley demonstrated excellent customer service and accountability.

My first time ordering from Saffron Alley and their customer service is amazing. Due to my local DPD depot failing to deliver my order, Nazeem in customer services dealt with my enquiry with the up most profession, priority, swiftness and empathy.

A solution was offered and put into action very quickly and I received my order which I am truly grateful for. A massive thank you to Nazeem and much deserved appreciation for your help in this matter.

My delivery arrived fresh and chilled in protective packaging and ice packs. Everything was clearly labeled and vacuum sealed. I ordered some mixed lamb boneless and boned which tasted delicious and extremely tender. I have several different cuts of beef steak to try, the quality of them all looks amazing.

I look forward to placing another order soon and I would highly recommend Saffron Alley for both customer service and quality products.

I thoroughly recommend Saffron Alley both for the excellent quality they offer, but for their superb customer service on top of that. Only yesterday I placed an order but input the wrong delivery date. I emailed them and after a few minutes a very helpful associate sorted it all out and changed it to my preferred date. I have ordered from them a few times all better than another, that one time I had to cancel my order as I wasn’t going to be home they resolved my request really quickly and great customer support from Christopher David.

We have ordered a couple of times and the meat has always been great. Unfortunately there was a slight issue on one of our poultry orders, but it was swiftly resolved by Christopher David. Halal meat is not readily available nearby in our location, therefore we are very grateful that Saffron Alley provides a fuss free service. We hope the issue will only be a one time thing and that the meat is always fresh. We have no doubt that Saffron Alley is able to keep up with the best standards.

I had a problem with my last order that was supposed to be delivered on Saturday but never showed up, but they sorted this out promptly on the first working day after, they promised to send a replacement of the order and also they refunded the delivery fees and offered a £10 voucher for next orders, the customer service was exceptional!

But as an advice avoid choosing Saturdays for deliveries to not get in a similar situation again!

I recently purchased minced beef from this shop and unfortunately my experience was disappointing. The meat was very chewy and had a noticeably strong taste and smell that did not seem fresh. It also appeared to be mixed with a significant amount of cartilage, which made it difficult to chew. Additionally, there was an excessive amount of blood present in the packaging.

I hope the shop reviews its quality control processes to ensure better freshness and preparation standards in the future.

I placed an order like I do every week but this week for some reason I got the wrong items. I had ordered lamb burgers but got lamb and chicken sausages instead. I emailed with my pictures of the order and the order receipt that comes with it. Christopher David was the representative that reached out to me and was super quick in dealing with the situation and resolving it. Ended up giving me gift card money to spend with my next order. Service was prompt understanding and extremely helpful. Very happy with the outcome and will continue to order from Saffron Alley.

The meat is delivered quickly and is always high quality. Getting halal meat has become so much easier for me, especially since I live in a small town with no halal options. My only slight issue is I wish they put more ice packs in cause my delivery person leaves it at the door. I think I will be getting meat from Saffron for the foreseeable future now

If i had to sumup my experience with Saffron Alley in one word it would be "Outstanding". From the ordering process to talking with Customer Support, everything is done to the highest standards. The quality of the meat is second to none. I have never found anywhere else in the UK that can match the sear consistency and quaility of their products.

Good business to buy from, been buying for a while now, even though organic may be expensive, it’s worthy if health is important to you, to balance it out I prefer buy beef or lamp organic instead of chicken, as the ones that are grain fed can cause inflammation of consumed in abundance

Sekh Nazeem was great in resolving the issues that I had with my order. He was very polite, professional, understanding, competent, and prompt in making sure that the issues were resolved and I am pleased with how he sorted it.

I placed my first order with saffron Ali yesterday the options and the ordering process were all very good. This morning I decided that I would like to make a change to the order and emailed accordingly. I received a very prompt reply from Christopher David and their customer services. Who facilitated my request politely and with no fuss, the changes were made and a small refund applied with no problems at all. I’ve not as yet received the meat but when I do, I will review the aspect of it as well. But so far absolutely excellent.
