I bought the car recently from the auction site. I left it in the driveway but then it only lasted 3 hours until it got stolen.

Having at a good repour with Salvage Market in the past. An issue cropped up with a listing on there platform from a company called " TRADER.CO.UK " the listing was put up by Trader.co.uk but we later found out that Trader.co.uk neglected to inform the buyer that the vehicle had a known issue the head gasket. The listing totally missing this important information. But still purchased the vehicle ( not knowing at the time about the head gasket ) The Salvage yard used by Trader.co.uk was not a yard.. It's a field in Alton. No business actually runs from this. It's just a field in the woods. No signs, no actual road to the so called Yard and a Yard manager who every time you try to contact them using the mobile number. Never answers, always answer phone and gets back to you as and when! After 3 attempted collections, including the Yard manager cancelling one pick up time. Then offering for CASH £50 to drop the vehicle off and didn't. The deciding factor of cancelling the sale. This is where Salvage market should step in and look at the facts. But as stated by other users on here. They only side with the seller... even some thing as bad as this happened. There is no salvage yard in Alton at best we think we found a gate unsigned to a pathway.. my Biz partner has been ripped off by Trader.co.uk with storage fees made up !!! and still waiting on payment from them.. Salvage Market Platform allowed this to happen. They didn't want to step in and listen to both sides they only wanted to listen to Trader.co.uk as they are heavy users of Salvage Market i.e. £££££ so I will not be renewing when my membership finishes. I had stuck up for Salvage Market on reviews before as the items I bought where as described. But a company is only as good when they step in to mediate between 2 parties for a sensible resolution. But they didn't want to know. Extremely unprofessional. So voting with my feet. My view is avoid Trader.co.uk as I am hearing a lot of bad feed back from other buyer. Salvage Market are going to get a worse reputation if they keep supporting Trader.co.uk in my view. Your loss 22 cars this year and some motorbikes.. I am not just one or two cars a year person... your loss.

YOU ARE THE SOURCE OF THE POOR SERVICE...you didn't act when a problem arose

Caught Salvage Market and Trader.co.uk liying due to email date and CC'd SM in with an Email to Trader.co.uk
As soon as we started to get Legal advice, we got 3!! Emails from them in a day!! Before it was 1 email every 3 days or more...... no way am I renewing. When they don't have your back when a seller using there platform abuses the customer and we lose money. Never trust Salvage Market

Trader.co.uk was informed by 2 people of the correct account details for the refund. Emails to prove the information was sent. Then I caught Trader.co.uk out lying. With email dated and times proof.
You side of this whole mess was that you didn't act in the interest of both parties in a timely manner. You chose to sit on the fence, take days to respond to emails. Then very clearly your only interested in making sure your paying customer ( trader.co.uk ) are not upset and put ALL the blame on the buyer... As far as I am concerned you are only as good a company when an issue crops up and how you deal with it. My experience from you was poor at best and one I will not want to support in future.
New account with another salvage dealer set up and already buying. YOUR LOSS!

Iv purchased a few salvage cars from salvage market over the years -At the End of the Day don’t Buy Salvage if your a Cry Baby - They are Crashed Damage or Stolen - I Recently Purchased a Black 2016 Beetle cat s .I got what I got from the photos but I did not know oil pan had been temp repaired by previous owner . I could not afford a £9000 retail one -so won this for £2700 approx march 26 . and have Gradually got it sorted now oweing me £4500 - it keeps my mind occupied too chasing the parts - fitting the parts . Doing it my My Wife to Replace her older Cat s 2013 beetle . I’d Recommend the Salvage Market . As Del Boy would Say .He who dares wins Rodney .

wont be renewing my subscription again. bought ex police car ,Bmw, through ASM, do not buy ex police cars, head gasket gone. lost money, wont be buying again, customer service is appalling, even spoke to the manager, once they got your money no refunds, keep away. no help whatsoever. plus car stated HPI clear but on some sites showing salvage vehicle.

When my renewal is due I will not be renewing in fact I won't be buying anymore vehicles

I believe there is a shill bidding going on at this site, they are pushing up the price of vehicle by bidding on vehicles them selves. How do explain vehicles that are sold and then reappear a week later.

I registered an account and was not activated with reason of being duplicate account of suspended account, I have sent mail regarding this requesting for refund to same card used for payment , also provide details to them since July 16,2025 I’ve sent multiple mails to the assist mail no single response till today. If it’s customer service mail meant to support customers I believe it shouldn’t take this long to response to simple mail and refund for account you never activated.mailmsent from muhammedroyalgroup @ gmail . Hi everyone be very careful when bidding on this site auction of salvage auctions they images are not clear and the auction have there own private bidders that bid on the auction vehicles to push the price up to the maximum . So once again beware of these scammers

I registered with this scammed company since December 2024 only to see that my account was restricted from bidding the next day. All effort to reach and resolved this issue proof abortive. Recently. they claimed that someone with my last name has registered with them 2 years ago with a default. How has that related to me? I requested for a refund but they started tossing me around. Back company. I did my registration with my identity card.
