I have bought several vehicles from Salvage Market, for myself, wife and children. My current car, bought from Salvage Market, is not only superb but cost about 60% less than buying privately!!!
OK so I bid on a car, and due to unforeseen circumstances, I didn't pay for it, advised SalavgeMarket etc, but due to non payment Imy account was suspended, Urggghh, but my fault. To restore my account would cost £100 (the cost of yearly membership to the inferior Copart) Any how, long story short, an exchange of emails between myself and SalvageMarket, meant I only had to pay £50 to unsuspend my account. I fully appreciate SalvageMarket doing this, as it was my fault. The only amendment I would add is, perhaps two failed payments should result in an account suspension (ebay has three no payments and you are suspended etc) But am happy with the way we negotiated my account being unsuspended, so 5 stars. I am a genuine customer of Salvage Market and a verified Trustpilot reviewer.

Faking images and hiding the problems to sell the car, i work with images and I can see that most of the damage to the car has been avoided also when u call to ask they have very poor customer service with little knowledge about job.

This lot are gangsters I would never buy from them again I bid on and won a car on one of their agents sites Ted 4 cars Bid won at £210 + £150 fees when I went to pay for it they wanted £510 Ted for cars called me and I asked were the extra money came from and he couldn’t explain it and he was the owner so folks I would advise you to stay away from them

DO NOT BY IMPORTED CARS
if you buy imported cars you will be scammed, the car will be impossible to register let me tell you why

the car that comes from Australia or other country, will be crashed and you can check by using the vin on the car then using the website on the PPSR, and that will give you a full breakdown of the car if is damaged or not, if its damaged you cannot register the car at all by DVLA. however the only way you can register the car is by using a Q plate and that means you can never sell the car to anyone (legally )

you can even contact DVLA yourself to check

Terrible site, they have people who work in house to take bids up to high numbers. Don't think you will get a deal. Rude customer service within the whole company

Just signed up to bid, next thing you know I get a email saying my account is a duplicate?? How? This is my 1st time signing up with my name and address on this site. Waste of £60! I’ll just continue with Copart,

I’ve bid on the car 3 times now and each time I don’t win but it’ll end up back in auction a week later.

I’ve seen this a few times now and now reading certain reviews I see it’s a general thing.

I suspect malpractice and I can only say it’s disgusting. Trying to fleece customers for even more money whilst describing yourself as a “family business”… very shady

Complete scam. If I could I would give 0 stars. Selling car as cat X NS damage just to find out all damage covered up and car is cat C write off. When contacted pretty much dismiss you and being very patronising and borderline rude. For someone who claims to be family business they don't care about customers or people in general and seem to be happy to do what ever needed to get people money including scamming and lying. Avoid if you don't want to loose your money to these criminals.

Sill bidding on this Skoda still can't win it. Staff can't get payed cos they don't sell cars any more just go on and on. Thanks for the reply but I no and I do that's not the case. The bids don't tell you who is bidding just says uk bidder mmmmmm

Salvage market and its partners are an absolute scam stay away from this company

Genuine vehicles from insurance companies, not dodgy private entries that motor traders have got stuck with like you find on other salvage auctions. Have made plenty of purchases and all have been good so far.

Have bought 5 vehicles from salvage market through traynors Northern Ireland over the past 6 months all have been as described or better when collected
No hassles when collecting cars and bikes are always ready one I ring ahead of collection

SO many times I have bid on cars and lost only to find the same cars relisted 2 to 4 weeks later it happens so often ASM auto recycling are the worst, it seems there is a lot of shill bidding going on.

I have bought nearly 3 cars on this site. they have written in detail about a vehicle driving and moving. but when the recovery man get there at the site they load the car by forklift and when he brought it back so there is a significant issue with the vehicle and it never started. specially recla kent are very unhelpful and I will suggest always paying on debit or credit cards and never pay via a bank transfer because will never help you with any issue once you pick up the vehicle try to avoid
