I'm so grateful to Sanctuary! I've been going for singing circles for a few months now, and every time I've come away glowing. Especially in a big city like London, this space has been a real sanctuary for connecting with myself and others. Alfie is skilled in facilitating a space where people can come as they are, no matter how little singing experience they have. Thank you, Alfie, for helping me discover a new relationship with my singing voice :)

Being a member of the Sanctuary community and the choir has been instrumental in helping improve my mental and physical health and allowing me an opportunity to reconnect with my local community during cancer recovery. Sanctuary feels like a really safe and welcoming space where I can relax, be playful and reconnect to myself and meet lots of amazing new people and I’m really grateful for all the opportunities that Alfie has created for us all. I highly recommend this space and thank you so much again!

Sanctuary where my soul sings with Joy! I have been to 4 of the gatherings now and enjoyed ever single one. Such a wholesome space, to relax, be playful, be yourself, no pressure no judgement, no expectations. Alfie attracts a lovely group of people and it feels like a community of kind hearts. Loved all the song choices, some beautiful creations by Alfie. Highly recommend for an uplifting Saturday afternoon.

Both me and my partner left feeling full of warmth after this beautiful experience! Alfie wrote his own songs this time and it was my first time harmonizing with others, which was beautiful.

Really welcoming and warm space to sing, connect and play! Lovely facilitator, it was my first time singing in a group and I felt very comfortable and free to express my voice. Fully Recommend!!

I went to Alfie's singing circles throughout the summer. Each one was very special with Alfie tailoring it to the group. I always came away full of joy. He's a master at what he does.
The birthday/launch event was a marvellous occasion. Singing in a bigger group and with more complex harmonies. (I've been singing for less than a year so no experience necessary - I don't sing well alone but Alfie couches a good voice out of me). The sound bath was a new and very different experience for me. Took me somewhere - I'm not sure where. But it was good.
If you want to get into this kind of thing , Sanctuary is a good place to start.

Welcoming, friendly and inclusive space for anyone looking to feel a sense of joy, play, calm and ease. Alfie and his team have created a really beautiful container to come and sing together, no matter the skill level. Think bare feet, acapella, songs about unity and love - it really feels like Sanctuary.

I went to Alfie's birthday and launch event. some lovely harmony singing, a delicious cacao ceremony & sound bath. Warm, inclusive, gentle community building

A special space for connecting with others, as a non musical person I found it a safe place to join and make a beautiful sound together. An oasis of community in my busy London schedule .

It was Alfie's birthday celebration event. There was a morning of singing, laughter and connection. We brought a shared lunch and Alfie had five lovely cakes baked for him! Over lunch there was an opportunity to connect to creativity by doing some art to express what 'Sanctuary' meant.
After lunch Alfie took the group of some 45 people on a relaxing meditation journey followed by a beautiful sound bath, given by one of his team.
It was a beautiful multi generational, inclusive, caring, sharing and wonderful celebration of life. Thank you Alfie, team and participants. It was a wonderful afternoon and these events come highly recommended.
Good luck with building Sanctuary as a community hub with sharing circles for women, men and mixed sharing, creativity, healing relationships and a grief circle. These forms of human connection are so needed and I will definitely be participating and contributing! Let us be the change we want to see in the world 💕♻️🌎

We've had the best day with Alfie and the team. Everyone was really lovely and helpful. The singing was beautiful, the choice of songs and Alfie's teaching were so good! I felt very relaxed and connected after the sound bath with Michael and Jade's art space was full of joy and experimentations. The event attracted many lovely people and I felt right at home. Can't wait come to the next events! Thank you!
