Horrible customer service experiences. Hello, I have spoken to 4 different reps for the loan technical support. I am not able to login to my loan portal page. The email that I used to set up my profile is no longer a working email that I have access to. The first rep that I spoke to said that he could not help me. The next two reps claimed that they submitted request to have my email updated on the back end so that I could log on. It has been weeks and no one has helped me. I called again today and the rep told me to reach out to my state representative to file a formal complaint. What in the world??? Four reps in the span of over a month should not be acceptable. I can’t just simply click on the link “forgot password” because your system will send email to the registered email in your system. Again, I no longer have access to that email address. With tech support it should not be this difficult to make change on the backend so that a customer can get to their profile. I get an error if I try to make a new profile. I am looking for other ways that I can make a formal review and complaint.

Awful place to work, they love to fire people, especially contractors.

I am continually amazed by the incompetence at the SBA (mirroring other federal agencies that I've had the unpleasure of dealing with). Most recently, I've sent the same documents multiple times over weeks, with the agent not reading and asking for the same things over and over again. When I tell her that this is an urgent situation, crickets. Where do they find these people? How do I get this job where I can get paid and do nothing?

This company is a fraud stay far far away far away.

SBA Disater Organization branches play major favoritism parts in employing people. Family members are easily hired/ brought on. Seasoned workers are kept on the side, but offered only a 4 day training role each year. Which by the weay does nothing because who can remember that when or if they are ever called up. Its played on the same line of hiring they do all over government . It's not what you know but who you know.

I have have had a horrible experience with the second application with the SBA I was told my loan was approved after several months of sending in documents signing documents to add a lien on my property today I get a call from the SBA stating my application had been withdrawn because I had a Covid loan that had been charged off and the lady I spoke with was very rude and refused to give me a approximate time when I would receive a release date for the Leon they had on my property can someone please help me I see there are other people who have had a similar experience

It’s a real disappointment for me and our family business, my mother's hair salon who she’s been a tax paying business owner for 33 plus years and then myself being in business both of us jumping through all SBA FIREY hoops , I guess only certain selected people who are tied in with you all can get this loan.

We met all the criteria , we both work in a low income residency or low income zone,
Both had less than 300 employees and both of us has lost more than 30% of our profits of income and proved this with all 2018 -2021 tax returns.

We filed 4506T tax return request, we are both online presence business and been doing business much longer than many of those who ended up getting the EIDL COVID disaster loan assistance.

It just goes to show how the government and small business administration are unethical and deceptive in claiming to care to help others who really need it.

Looks like we both will have to hang our hat up and quit our business once and for all. Had we had some assistance we could have maybe recovered. Not that anyone at SBA cares as it shows there is no actual legacy to the desire to truly help those who need it.

As for the past year and half we both had tried everything in our power to express we are completely eligible for this loan (non payable )
and to this day you had made us jump through all these tedious tasks at hand that when we would do it properly proving we are in fact a real business and even showed 30% loss and struggling to even stay afloat in business due to the effect of the godvernment deceptive corona event all so you could destroy many of us small family businesses who have worked very hard to help keep a healthy economy and worked even harder to maintain the legal basis of a true ethical and honest environment while contributing to the USA.

Shows what a joke this country has developed into, it's really disheartening and I only know great curses will plague the whole scam by which is Ponzi scheme creating a great divide in this country.

More and more of the smartest individuals are leaving this madness and fallen apart infrastructure which was never designed to set people free or to help those who needed it.

But rather keep the poor poor and struggling for the end of time, and continue to only give handouts and real assistance to those who are tied into your family's and your organization.

All we were asking was for some assistance. We were 100% eligible and couldn't even get it after we both proved we were completely the right ones for the loan.

It didn't say we might or might not get it either. It was if you were eligible you would get this.

It will hex your entire organization just wait and see.

Struggling business owners who didn't get anything

This company has the rudest customer service representatives. I called in and politely asked questions about a product, after already waiting on hold for 25 minutes, and the representative acted like she did not want to talk to me. She was extremely rude in her tone of voice. Then she hung up in my face after I told her I had a couple more questions. I called back, and another representative answered, and couldn't provide the simple answers to questions about my account. Horrible experience. Do not waste your time with SBA.

We got an EILD Loan from the SBA about 20 Months ago. With all the extentions and other executive orders signed by the President, we have been attempting to get information on our loan to make sure that Payments have not changed. I have now had to ask the same questions 3 times since they apparently can not look at an email thread to see the account was verified previously and they do not read far enough to even see what questions your asking and just send canned messages. Also, the 2 phone numbers they give you do not have any options to talk to someone about an already open loan to get information on any changes.

Demons have been harassing me claiming that I stole SBA money. Now I'm being tormented by demons. Please go with another company. This company needs to close. No good service either.

These people are deceptive, refuse to look at the facts and discriminate against women that are not hugely successful. I have given them my information 5 times. They tell me everything is good. My increase has been in process for over a year. Now, they come back with some lame email. It is wrong, wrong, wrong that the government treats its citizens this way in the time of crisis and discriminating against white women is completely unforgiveable,.

Here’s another department that are straight thief. I applied got sent the approval but never got the grant. I Even had them reach out over the phone to ask for my bank info and verify all requirements but then never gotten the funds. Later my account online info got charge around and the approve statement disappear! They can manipulate the environment but truth is that I still know! The department was given money from federal and never carried out the job instead issue to big corp company that does all the white collar crime! Justice is blinded by greed or is blinded!

I havebhad the worst experience imaginable. When the pandemic hit I was surviving by hosting for airbnb. Well that all but shut down. So a friend of mine suggested that I apply for the PPP loan as well the EIDL loan. I applied and was approved for the PPP loan but denied the EIDL. I was banking with CHIME at the time and they deposited my PPP loan without issue. Then in July I received an email explaining the EIDL targeted advance and the supplimental advance and was urged to apply. So I did and was approved for both for a total of 15k. But for some reason CHIME decided to no longer accept ACH payments from the SBA and returned my funds to them. I immediately called and was assured that the funds had been obligated to me and all I had to do was open a new account and update my banking information. So I did and then wait 3 months only to receive an email saying that I had been denied. But this was notna thing of being denied for I was already approved. It was updating bank info. So then I had to apply for a reconsideration three times and each time was a different excuse of why I was denied. So then just recently I email again and I got the same response that if I had been funded which I was and the bank had returned my funds that I could rest assure that the money was still available and had been obligated to me. But they ignore me when I tell them that and just come up with another invalid reason for denying me something that was already given to me. All parents with teach their children by the age of 5 that once you give something to someone it no longer belongs to you and you have no right to take it back. So shouldn't a government run business be expected to at the very least live up to the same moral that any 5 year old would have. And it is not only me that they have done this to. Its hundreds of people and it just not right. Two disappointed thumbs down for the SBA

My experience with SBA.gov was truly a nightmare. On Reddit unfortunately I discovered a hundreds of people in the same or similar situation with them. The promise $15,000 grant in which I was invited to apply for. Told in emails and phone calls and on their SBA online hub that I was approved. Told over the phone and email that the grant had been deposited but SBA did not deal with my bank. Well if they knew that ahead of time by the name of the bank on my approved application why wire $15,000 to that bank. Then I was told it was returned. Funny thing is my bank shows no record whatsoever of that transaction! I went into debt for a commercial space and inventory. Lost my home, now living in my car!
