Superb product and service from Kathryn and her team.

We have had a very positive experience with Scotts from start to finish - Kathryn looked after us and gave excellent advice when we visited the showroom - and guided us through the style of building and fittings which would best suit our needs. The team who delivered and installed the summer house over 2 days (day one in a monsoon!) were extremely professional and clearly very skilled. I would not hesitate to recommend this company

Exceptional service from our visits to the Centre to the installation of the Summerhouse. Nothing was too much trouble. This is a very professional company. We were delighted with the finished product.

I ordered my summerhouse over the phone and from start to finish had excellent service with good communication. On the day of installation two men arrived and assembled in the rain quickly and efficiently. The landscaper and I were very impressed. The finished Summerhouse is beyond my expectations it is in sage green and looks absolutely lovely. I am so pleased and can’t recommend enough

Genuine old fashioned service and care, a beautifully made product, an absolute delight to have in our garden and exceeds all our expectations; we did a lot of research before settling on a Scotts summerhouse and this has paid off. "More than a summerhouse" I am sure we will use this lovely bright space all year round and we are already enjoying long peaceful evenings in comfort with the beautiful nature we have around us.

Last year at 98 my father passed away.
My sisters and I were left a small inheritance each.
I always dreamt of having a summerhouse. With mine I purchased the Newhaven corner house.
Unfortunately I wasn’t at home when it was fitted but my son was. He said the guys worked hard and explained how everything worked from the windows and solar paneling. Then maybe the tea and biscuits may have helped.
When I arrived home I was very impressed and it look perfect in my small garden.
Plus it made it a very special day as it would have been my fathers 100th birthday. Thank you dad and Scott’s of Thrapston

Having considered alternative summer houses we were very impressed by the corner "Newhaven" summer house which we saw at the Chelsea Flower Show in 2024. Following difficulties with planning consent it was finally installed in April 2025. We are absolutely delighted with it. The quality of the finish is exceptional and the team who installed it were very pleasant and professional. Throughout the process Kathryn was very helpful.

We live in a remote area of Wales right on the coast. Ten years ago we looked for a manufacturer who made strong sturdy but beautiful summer houses. It had to weather storms and gales and an exposed position. We chose Scots and after 10 years and are only now thinking of giving it an all over coat of paint. Not a shingle has moved, not a window has broken, it is still immaculate.

It is a long way from Northamptonshire to us but the erection team arrived at 8am and had finished by early afternoon. Then drove all the way back to Thrapston.

If you are thinking of a Scott’s summerhouse, don’t think… buy. Enjoy choosing which style, you will not be disappointed.

Our summer house was installed last May. We have enjoyed it all through last summer and autumn. Fantastic service from Katherine and the Scott’s team. Nothing was too much trouble. Professional service and super pleased with our summer house. Wish we had bought it sooner! We love it !

We had a 10 year old Sun Ray Garden room in our garden which was built primarily as a summer house and was in very good condition after 10 years. We were looking at options for making an all year garden space. I am so glad that I came back to Scotts of Thrapston to find a solution.

Kathryn could immediately offer a very compelling solution to basically renovate the existing structure with new wall/roof linings and double glazed windows and doors to re-purpose the structure. No other sub-contractor would be interested in re-purposing a perfectly good structure. Her service was excellent.

I would also like to give a big thanks to Chris and site the team for the excellent job they did regarding the rebuild of the sun ray garden room. They were extremely professional and their attention to detail was impeccable. I was impressive by their craftmanship.

Buying a Summer House with Scott’s of Thrapston is an enduring memory for us. We were renovating a house and garden for our Son who works and lives abroad but has a home in Hampshire.
He asked us to visit Scott’s and to choose a Summer House.
We were in contact with Kathryn Morris at Scott’s. Our contact with her was absolutely first class. We visited Scotts HQ at Kettering, it was a super day as Kathryn gave us all the time we needed, looking at the various options, in fact we felt like royalty as we had such a wonderful day choosing the most glorious of Summer Houses.
Kathryn Morris offered us a 5 STAR experience, leading to a 5 STAR Summer House being nestled into our Sons garden some five years ago.
The Sun Ray Summer House we chose looks as beautiful today as the day it was installed. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Kathryn’s customer service on behalf of Scott’s is second to none. The Quality of the Sun Ray Summer House is unbeatable. It is an absolutely glorious sight giving a quintessentially English look to the garden. A really beautiful place to sit, to enjoy the garden, for lunch, to read a book in the tranquility of its glorious surrounding.
The inside is as beautiful as the outside, all exquisitely fitted with built in seating and custom made seating cushions.
Our Son is now moving house and he knows that the sight of his Summer House standing so beautifully in his garden will be a major selling point of the house.
So much so that today we are in discussion with Kathryn Morris to ensure that we have the same glorious experience in placing an order for a Sun Ray Summer House for our Sons new garden.
If anyone thinks about placing a Summer House in their garden then the ‘Creme de la Creme ‘ of Sumner Houses is to be found at Scott’s of Thrapston.

We have a small garden in a conservation area and a National park. Our front garden is not large but has one sunny spot. We were searching for a good looking quality product which would please us and get past the strict planning requirements.
There are many cheap tempting offers to be found and that works for you it’s fine, but if you want a summer house that is elegant beautiful built that melts your eye the extra amount you pay will be paid back endlessly over the years as Scotts are magnificent.
This is a genuine unsolicited review.

From the time of ordering to delivery the ‘ team ‘ could not be faulted .

I’m thrilled with my Burghley summerhouse. I think I shall be spending more time in here than in my house. I love the idea of being inside - whilst being outside!
It will be a lovely painting studio as well as a very stylish and solidly built retreat.
But there is just one drawback. Having put my favourite (and slightly surplus to requirements) sofa in it, my two dogs will not now go anywhere else! The smartest dog house I shall ever own! AND it was put up so speedily and efficiently by your lovely team. A big thank you to you all from me . . . And my dogs!

Love the Burghley Summer House your company fitted yesterday, looks great, very well made and the fitters were exceptional. I cannot thank you enough and I will be recommending your products to all our friend. A great experience from start to finish, who could ask for anything more?
