Terrible customer service. Medication wasn’t delivered when I had stayed in to receive it. No customer service from DPD or Second Nature. No reponse to my email after 14 days. No support over weekends. Have asked for a refund but nothing. Taken my money, the app says when they are taking the next payment but they haven’t provided me any service at all for the money they have already taken

Would definitely recommend. App is great and straight forward with a coach to support. Medication delivered timely and reliably. No complaints at all.
Dreadful - failed delivery (now seems to be lost with DPD somewhere) and over a week on they’re still refusing to deliver. They are suggesting trying to fix it within the next week but I’m not holding my breath.

I have been with Second Nature for a couple of months and it is very reassuring to know that the support is behind me in my weight loss journey. SN are very responsive to any questions and queries

Great support & Sensible advice and recommendations.
I feel completely supported by my Health Coach, Maia, and through useful daily articles.
I am only 4 weeks into the programme and have not found the group chat useful yet. Maybe later this will come in to its own.
NHS Drain. This company drains the NHS pot and offers nothing of any value. A free pair of scales, why don’t the NHS buy them from Amazon and send them rather than giving this outfit lots of cash. Disgusting misuse of funds.

Good communication with coach and flexibility on delivery dates.
I joined first time in 2022 and lost about 10kg following the core phase. I rejoined this summer on the non-medicated Core Phase, which was the same as I'd previously experienced, but did support me getting back into good habits.
The Pros - if you don't know anything about ultra-processed food, food planning, sleep hygiene, exercise tracking etc - then this app may be useful. It can help support you to form good habits.
The Cons - it isn't individual coaching - it's all a group-chat blanket-approach and coaches tend to change frequently. Recipes are limited - however what you learn in the Core Phase can help you make better choices when surfing for recipes. The Growth Phase entails just reading pages of articles which were very similar to the Core phase. When I tried to cancel in September I received the below:
"We are writing to confirm that your subscription to our premium app has been cancelled, as requested.
Please note that you will still be charged for the remaining 6 payments of your 6-month subscription.
This charge will be split into 6 payments of £39 each, and you will continue to have full access to all premium app features until 10th Mar 2026"
So I'm paying over £230 for an app that is no longer on my phone and that I'm not using.
There are better food planning/fitness tracking apps out there that don't rip you off - be aware!

Supportive coach and lots of useful information on how to make lasting life changes.
I found Second Nature to be a trusted program to support a weight loss journey in a healthy and realistic manner. No gimmicks, or YouTubers here. Trained professionals and good support from your qualified nutritionists.
Be prepared for hard work whether on a medication supported program or their core program. No quick fix, but a holistic approach for real people. I had hoped for more one to one phone calls with my coach but she response quickly via the app (except weekends when they don't work). The group support element is unpredictable as it just depends on the group, not everyone is active but my coach made up for that. I would just ensure this app based approach would suit you and you are happy with the tech. Prepare to challenge and explore your habits and behaviours and embrace self reflection.
I've been with Second Nature for a month. I am impressed by the caring support they give, the quality of the products (a brilliant set of scales which sync with the app on my phone, and a really good recipe book) and the general attitude of help on this journey.
I’ve just started on second nature it’s very good and supports you along the way. I don’t use to it’s full use atm but there’s always someone to chat with and there are meal ideas. After a month I changed from wegovy back to monjaro I’d originally been with monjaro before but so expensive now. Second nature are very understanding
The online health coach is great.
Simi is always on hand to answer any questions and comes up with some great helpful hints to help with your journey.
