A terrible experience - at the Bristol office I was bullied by a employment adviser who spoke over me when I atried to answer his questions. They offer no help to get back to work, no reimbursement of travel for interviews, refused use of a phone to my internet provider so I could apply for jobs. Another staff member acted with hostility when I understood Seetec's charging model. They expect job seekers to be cowed, ignorant and submissive. I will be contacting Pat Fadden who heads the DWP about this monumental waste of tax payers money.

Went to Swindon Seetec in the morning. While I was waiting, two girls appeared with plates of toast and proceeded to munch away at their desks while playing on their mobile phones. Why are they doing this in front of us during working hours? Can't they have breakfast at home, before they come to work? One of them was made up like she was going to a party and wearing skintight leggings leaving zero to the imagination. All seriously unprofessional and disrespectful. And they're telling us what to do to find jobs!

This lot have so many names that people are leaving their 1 star experiences on Seetec.com, making this one look good.

So let me tell mine. There is no point to this organisation whatsoever, they are not "tailored" support. I do not have long Covid or the menopause, I do have other issues that need to be addressed but hear crickets when it comes to something they can't handle.

My 'advisor' made me sign up to an Italian job website, asked me what I bought in town, and other nosy, irrelevant questions. Anything apart from actually help.

He also continually asks me who my employment advisor is.

Um... you?

10/10 experience really helped me throughout my journey

I always felt supported and that my concerns were handled in the best way. The staff provided me with all the tools and resources I needed to make myself more employable and gain more confidence overall in the world of work.

Started with Seetec in early 2025, got a job by the summer. All the staff were brilliant, especially Amber who couldn't have been more helpful in the process of getting back into work. Legend.

I had Lewis as my work coach he is amazing the support, advice, time, understanding and help he gave was over an beyond to be expected. It was a journey after five years of unemployment and the support throughout my journey managed to get me a job within 8 months which was unbelievable especially with the fact I needed a term time only job. Lewis has given me the confidence to go back to work an I am enjoying my independence. He helped me through my rough times where I was ready to give up too and reassured me I could do it. He went over an beyond. He has a heart of gold a lot of patience an very good at understanding. It didn't ever feel like I was alone through my journey and the whole team at restart at Bromsgrove are amazing. Amazing teamwork with all of them and especially Lewis thank you for all your help. I wouldn't be where I am without him. I'd like to say even when you feel the whole world is against you there not think positive believe in yourself and achieve your goals.

Before I started the sessions with him when I’d get overwhelmed or overstimulated I would tend to have a hard time and can’t really calm down but with simple exercises I have been able to surpass those moments not only that he has helped me understand my mental health abit more and I has had a huge impact on my social life as I’m able to now go out with friends without the worry of getting overstimulated or overwhelmed

Unfortunately, I had a very bad accident, which resulted in me being unable to work whilst awaiting surgery. This unemployment status led me, through due process to Seetec, Bromsgrove. I thought this was just going to be another, tick the box, process but was amazed that they picked up that I would benefit from some sessions with a health and well being coach. Ana entered into my life. I have always been a very strong minded and confident person and on face value never show my true feelings. Guarded to say the least. Ana was very personable and picked up on this. Through her professionalism, amazing ability to read me and empathy, she opened doors in my mind and heart that I thought were firmly shut. This is a good thing as she helped me deal with each item behind every door. Grief, anger, loss of self confidence and much more. I have always had the ability to laugh it off and we did laugh together but there were also tears. I am so grateful to Ana. My only regret is that our sessions have now been cancelled due to the company believing that this service is not needed. I whole-heartedly refute that opinion. From a personal perspective, this service (especially Ana) has helped me on a journey that was, initially, a very painful one, both physically and emotionally. I hope to be able to continue to improve and progress on my recovery journey, using the tools that Ana has given me. Ana, from the bottom of my heart - THANK YOU x

I would just like to say I have been under the wing of Karma Hunns at Barnstable , and would like to pat her on the back for all the course organisation which she has undertaken on my Part . When I first spoke to my health and wellbeing couch Ana, I was feeling very anxious, in chronic pain, very low and depression. The help that she has given me, has helped so much with my mental health, I feel a lot more positive about myself and the future. It was important to me that I felt comfortable with who I was talking to because of the anxiety, and I did, Ana was very easy to talk to, very helpful and understanding. I highly recommend this service to anyone wanting to feel better in themself, and more positive about the future.

Liars and lazy, I was told not to take a course that wouldn't lead to employment as he (an advisor) wouldn't get a bonus...very rude, unthoughtful and quiet happy to talk about his girlfriend and ex to me, even though I don't know the geezer

At the start of my journey I was feeling quite negetive about myself and struggling with a long term grief of losing my mother. Carlton gave me advice and exercises to do to help boost up my confidence and gain more energy, one which I'm still working on. However the exercises given have helped me to better understand my feelings and has encouraged me to seek further support with grief whilst going out there and looking for opportunities. My mood has lifted and I have started to feel more optimistic about the future. Listening and learning through his life experiences and how it can help me has really made a difference. Carlton is a credit to seetec and I appreciate all the help he has given.

I came into Seetec unsure of who I was. I had a very negative mindset of who I was and what I wanted. My life seemed to be stagnated in a wallow where I had no idea about what to work on first to get myself out.

I was very self-aware of my very low state of mind, but even so, I had no way of knowing the right way out. My energy levels were so low each day, which was also compounded by the fact I had a hard time falling asleep, and in return waking up.

I have Social Anxiety and depression, and have been unaware of me masking my Autism for 30 years.

Carlton was absolutely amazing. He saw where I needed help and immediately it felt like he had thrown down a rope to pull me out of this hole that I had created. After a couple of sessions, I decided to grab hold of this rope and use my energy (what little I had) to really put into making the steps I needed to slowly make my way to the surface.

He actually listened to what my screaming thoughts kept saying. He was able to help me rationalise them, calming them down and to be able to figure out steps to move forward by giving very sage advice,

Carlton's own passion and understanding, coupled with his own personal insights and the logical reasoning why help me understand and learn from the certain tasks and goals each session.

Carlton gave such helpful and supportive guidance, one that came from a space of safety, respect and understanding, during a time when I was at my most vulnerable and defeated state of mind. Carlton was able to help me rationalise, use logic “taking thoughts to court” by helping me gain the tools I needed to help myself for the rest of my life. As well as his guided steps each week, he also gave you the freedom to do your own independent learning by offering videos, books, poems and thought quotes for your own self-cultivation.

The ability to talk to a real person, to open up to someone, to grow and have them be on this journey with you by far out beats anything else I, and my doctors have tried by far. To be able to ground yourself in such a caring person and to be understood is so helpful.

I have my energy back, my sleep has improved, I'm able to deal with my spiraling emotions and thoughts a lot better, and have healthy coping strategies that help me balance myself rather than fall inward.

Carlton is a major credit to the Seetec team and I'm so happy to have got to know him over the last 6 months. I am truly a happier person from my experience with him.

The health and well being team were so welcoming into the building. My coach Erika Donkin was so helpful and gave me a lot of advice and support through my time that i was there, she’s helped me to able to come out my shell a lot more in big groups of people and not care as much of what people think about me. i had a very positive experience and i highly recommend if your struggling with anything that you need help with.

The advisors are awesome, always going above and beyond for their clients. Also offering support for nerodiversity, having ADHD I felt no one could understand what its like for me but then I met a great work coach...

The People over there were super helpful especially the health and wellbeing and my coach during that time Carlton Douglas he helped me every step of the way while we had our sessions.

The staff at Bournemouth are helpful and supportive. Kelly, my advisor, was patient and pleasant and gave every effort to offer advice and support.
