I ordered a head unit for my car. It came broken and missing some wires. When I try to email them about it. All they do is ignore me

HORRIBLE COMPANY they scammed us! We were trying to buy a radio and even sent photos of our car and dashboard only for them to send the wrong products and never respond to emails! We had to dispute through our bank and only then did we hear a response back from them when the bank got in contact, they are horrible people and never buy from them. Go through someone else who has a better return policy and knows how to treat customers right!

The order took 12 days to get delivered when they claimed it takes 7 days.
There were no installation manual sent with the head unit to fit my vehicle so I had to figure it all out.
The manual that was sent with the head unit has useless information that does not work for the head unit sent to me!
Their support is terrible, and I was not able to get anything useful from them!
After sending dozens of messages to them I keep getting the same questions and responses that do not actually work!

Pros:
-Sounds better than Stock Head Unit

Cons:
-No installation documentation
-Hard to find out what model you have and what was shipped!
-The videos on Seicane website are outdated
-Does NOT sit in the dash properly, NOT as OEM fit
-The steering wheel buttons change when the car is started, and go back to what they were when you shut the engine off!
-OEM Backup camera can be retained but the picture is bad.
-Half of the installed APPs are out of date, dysfunctional, and can NOT be updated or used.
-Android Auto APP does not work on the Seicane unit and will get a message that it is NOT supported!

Do yourself a favor and buy aftermarket from another company that is NOT made by Seicane.

I have had nothing but problems with the Seicane stereo and I regret purchasing from them.

Don't bet on their support, they will never help you fix anything.

Bought an Android double din head unit from them. With a few accessories like reversing camera. After placing the order, all went quiet. No sign on the web site of whether the stuff was shipped or not.
Eventually arrived as a series of packages over about a week.
Fitted it, no issues with this. Then the fun started.
First problem was the touch screen. Anything towards the edges didn't work. Made the mistake of moving some icons to the home screen. This blocked off the home screen, but due to the edge problem I couldn't move them off to unblock. Eventually found a recalibrate method on YouTube. This now works, but barely adequately. Contact is poor around the edges.
Main issue is that the tuner only outputs on the right channel. Other things, like MP3 pkay fine on both channels.
To cut a long story short I've now been wasting time on this for more than 4 months, including many many emails with their support in which they fail to understand basic English, accuse me of faulty installation, refuse to take the unit back unless I pay for shipping and make a fraudulent customs declaration, refuse a full refund, ask me to take a very small partial refund. Sent videos clearly demonstrating the problem which were not understood. Emails go unanswered until I chase. Eventually they offered a new motherboard for me to fit. This arrived, but was the wrong part. Then I was asked to move a part from old to new, despite there being many missing parts on the new board. These are surface mount, something beyond my ability. Then they suggested that I return the unit for repair. Told them they'd already refused to pay for return.
Now waiting for them to reply again.
Despite their multiple promises of good service there is NO effective support. English is barely understood. Technical support does not exist.
Another update. Decided to add a DAB receiver to get around the tuner issues. DAB software is included on the Seicane. But it's close to useless as whenever another app is running, like navigation, the DAB radio signal is constantly dropping. Eventually managed to fix with an app called DABZ from the Playstore.

If the unit worked, it would be ok for the money. But as it is, not worth the risk.
Ironically I found the same unit under a different brand name on Amazon for less money. If their unit had been faulty I'd have had a replacement in a day or so.

First i read all this reviews on this site and thought why did i order from seicane. But all you guys who said Seicane is bad just want to destroy that companys reputation and so on.

non acquistate da seicane, ho preso un android 9" per la mia prius (taxi) e ha iniziato, dopo poche ore di lavoro a dare problemi, si bloccava spesso. Dopo aver contattato l'assistenza mi hanno inviato una scheda madre nuova e 70$ per la riparazione. Dopo l'intervento ha funzionato per circa 2 settimane e poi ha dato problemi con lo schermo e continua a bloccarsi. Adesso l'assistenza non vuole più saperne o rimborsare.
P.S. Anche l'assistenza di paypal se ne è lavata le mani... fate molta attenzione.

Do not buy from Seicane.

If anything goes wrong, you are not getting any help or refunds, and then you have to find another system.

I got their 10" system for Jeep, which broke after 5 months of use, and when contacting Seicane to get help, the help was to pay for a new motherboard and replace it myself, Nu refund or any guarantee was possible.

Seicane sold me a defective product. Customer service Had me to do a factory reset to try and fix the problem. Now the touch buttons on unit do not work anymore and seicane won't do anything to help me fix this. Very poor customer service and rude responses from the support team. They lie about their company reviews from buyer's,they tried to pay me $20 to give a better review of their company. I recommend you file a complaint as I did with the FTC to get justice against this fraudulent company.

Sent me the wrong unit.
to send it back double registered mail is about $350. Canada post.
It had the wrong front and the wrong wiring harness
they ignore you once they got your money, Stay away

Purchased a head unit and backup cam from these jokers. About 6 days after my order I was shipped someone's returned unit with a cracked screen, and the wire harness was altered (cut wires), and the BU cam was not even the one I ordered. I paid them via Paypal and felt safe because paypal offers buyer protection, however these guys know how to manipulate paypal, and paypal doesn't initiate contact directly to people (it's all system triggered), so they say send the junk back to China at MY EXPENSE (to the tune of some $250.00) to get a refund. These guys are SCAM ARTISTS!

Terrible seller! I bought couple of radios from them, but for the faulty one they don't want to offer a refund unsell I send it to their china office with shipping service that would cost more than the android radio, and of course, I need to pay for shipping myself. Stay away from this seller there are other more honest sellers for same items.
