It seems like the company really has the entire credit system figured out.

Horrible company the whole thing is a scam to fill their pockets with your money. They make it appear like they are going to build up your credit and give you a credit line. You send them money believing that you are going to get a credit line and a savings. They take your money and immediately charge you interest on your savings, yes I mean charge you interest, take money from you not give you interest like a proper savings does, in addition they charge you an annual fee immediately on what is supposed to be a credit line and it’s not it’s just the money you foolishly give them thinking it’s a credit line! This should not even be legally allowed and I hope I at least can save a few others from this scam!!! DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM!!!!!

Terrible customer service. When you call you get AI automated virtual assistant that is unable to troubleshoot or resolve your issue. Then you request to transfer to a team member and the calls just drops. The customer service reps are difficult to understand and not helpful either and you have to keep re-explaining the issue and they still do no understand. Then in some cases, depending on what you need help with like the rent/bill/utilities payments to build credit service, they do not even have customer reps who you can call for that despite that you pay for the service. You have to send them an email instead.

If you had a card lost or stolen and need a replacement card it is almost impossible to get a hold of someone for that too. Sigh.

They were very rude and insensitive to the fact that cancelling my card due to fraud which I was fine with but it would leave me in a financial bind for my birthday and knowing I had children so I simply asked if they could expedite my new card then told me no they don’t do that said I’d get it in 10-15 days and hung up the phone

Really have to with my credit .

My family got completely out of debt about 2 1/2 years ago and thought we were in perfect shape.... until we went to borrow money for something and discovered that being debt free is DAMAGING to your credit score. Because we had not kept at least one card with a revolving balance on it, our credit score was zero, which is worse than a bad score. Self has been so very helpful teaching us how the credit score algorithm actually works. We are now back on track for a decent credit score AND making smarter financial choices than we made in the past.
