I was initially unhappy with the offer, however Sell Your Gadget took the time to call me and talk me through this. They were super professional and they listened! A very positive outcome so would highly recommend.

Very smooth experience, very clear instructions, as soon as the phone arrived a few days after posting a notification was sent to say they had received it and the funds were paid out the same day. Overall excellent experience.

🚫Very disappointing experience🚫

I sent my old iPhone 13 to SellMyGadget after being offered £170. The phone was in pretty good condition, with only a few minor scratches, although the battery health wasn’t the best.

After my order arrived, I had to contact them myself for an update. I was then emailed to say that they had apparently found loads of scratches, dents and chips and had downgraded the phone to “poor condition.”

What is particularly frustrating is that I used a comparison site which stated that returns were free. However, because SellMyGadget have decided that the phone is in poor condition, I’m now expected to pay £12 to have my own phone returned.

I completely understand that companies need to assess devices, but I feel the condition has been exaggerated and the return policy is misleading. If I had known I could potentially be charged £12 simply for disagreeing with their assessment, I would have chosen a different company.

Overall, a very disappointing experience and I wouldn’t use SellMyGadget again.

Very easy to find out what your phone is worth, easy to return with Royal Mail collecting. Quick response and money sent. Will use again

Charge you £12 to return the phone after undervaluing it - had my phone valued by another similar fompany eho offered way more but returned the phone. These scammers offered 25% + less and when I refused stated they would charge a fee!

AVOID AND USE A REPUTABLE CONPANY THAT IS HONEST!!

Verry good the phone I sold to him gave me a good price and he sorted me out a good deal on a new phone and good quality highly recommend using him for phone repairs ,selling and buying phones

I was kept up to date each step of the way to notify me of what was happening. Despite having a technical issue, this felt a smooth process.

After receiving my phone they re-valued it at £5! The cost to return it to me was £12. I feel they should have made this cost clear up front.

I was really sceptical about selling my iPhone15 because I had been ripped off a couple of years ago by another company. However, Sell Your Gadgets had good reviews for their pricing fairness and how right I was to choose them. They paid the price originally quoted, phoned me to confirm my chosen payment method and the full amount was in my bank 15 minutes after the call. I cannot praise this company too highly for their service, courtesy and honesty.

Relatively straightforward to wipe and post ff old phone. Should have done its sooner! Payment received within the week.

Sold another old phone with them and it was spot on again. Really easy from start to finish, no messing about and the payment came through quickly once they got the phone. Can’t fault the service and I’d definitely use them again. Highly recommended.

Was a bit dubious given that all the phone companies knock your quote down once they have your phone & don’t seem trustworthy but I need not have worried. Service was quick & friendly. I didn’t get what was advertised for my phone but expected that given that the battery wouldn’t have been as good given that it was my phone for 3 years but negotiated a good deal. Payment was in my account in minutes. Would definitely use again. Thank you 👍
