Waited 2 weeks for my payment which was downgraded from the original quote and although I gave a relative my phone who works for Apple and told me the phone should be a higher quote than their initial one, the customer service is none existent having emailed a couple of times, was told the date I would get my payment which never happened and had to email and ring the following day to see where it was…..absolute rubbish and a bunch of cowboys

Ok, used many phone recycling companies and never had issues like I have with these con artists. Priced a iphone14 damaged, working at £177. Once received they offer £33. Ask for phone to be returned. New offer £66. Ask for phone returned. Then sent email request for a price I would accept to avoid returning phone? Asked for £120. They offer £105. I accept as it's been over 2 weeks at this point and just want it resolved. Told payment will be made in 5 days 28th April. It isn't. Advised 48hrs delay. It isn't. chased again, advised another 24hrs. By 6th May I send email warning of complaint to FCA/ombudsman. Payment immediately sent. No apologies.

Waste of Time
Promised same day payment, but they had the device for a week before they started testing it. In the interim I was getting chaser emails threatening a price change.
Funnily enough when the device was tested, it was marked down a single grade which actually reduced the price by half - with no explanation why or photos to evidence why it wasn’t worthy of a ‘Good’ grade - despite being open box new.
Rubbish experience throughout.

Worst experience. They send low blow offers and then refuse to send the phone back when you reject. Have been ignoring all my emails since. Will be taking them to court to get my device back. Currently in talks with police. Don’t recommend this company at all.

Incredibly poor company to sell your phone through. Similar to other posts, the promise of a high price followed up with a really low offer, to then entering a negotiation phase over multiple rounds.
Luckily unlike others I did get paid, but it was an offer I was not happy with and it took weeks and many emails in order to get paid.

The initial quote I was given was vastly inflated from the price I was then offered, even though I had been honest about the condition (original quote was up to £244 and I was offered £16!). I eventually managed to barter the price up a bit but it took quite a while.
Once the price was agreed it took some time to be paid and I had to repeatedly chase the payment. I think price being agreed to money landing was over two weeks, and the device being sent to being paid was over a month.
The price change, process length and having to chase it made it all feel unprofessional.
I wouldn’t use them again.

I sent in an iPhone 15 to Uber Link after being offered £250. I was fully aware the battery health was 84% with over 500 cycles, which puts it in the “poor” category — and I was happy to accept that.
Aside from the battery, the phone was in excellent condition. It had been in a case with a screen protector from day one, with no marks on the screen or body.
After they received it, they claimed the phone was in “very poor condition” and dropped the offer to £105 — less than half. When I asked for an explanation, none was provided. Instead, they increased the offer in small steps (£135, £155) and even asked if they could keep the phone rather than return it.
This was their response after I challenged it:
“Following a further review… we are able to increase our offer to £185. During testing, our technicians still identified front glass and housing usage, with visible wear, and battery health below 85%… the overall cosmetic condition remains a key factor in the final valuation.”
I rejected this and requested the phone back.
I’ve now received it — and there is not a single mark on the screen or body. It is exactly as described when I sent it.
So their claim of “visible wear” is simply not true, and no evidence was ever provided to support it.
It genuinely feels like they were hoping I’d accept a much lower offer to get the phone for significantly less than its value.
Very poor experience, no transparency, and not a company I would trust.
Avoid at all costs.

Keep an eye on your e mails
By reading everyone else’s reviews it seems they operate in the same way. Quoted just under £250 for my phone. Then had an e mail saying it’s worth £41. This e mail went to my junk and came with the “if we don’t hear from you within 48 hours we take it as you accept this offer”. Luckily I was looking for something else and saw it. Contacted them to which they then said they made a mistake and offered £180. Again I said no and to return my device. They upped their offer again. It’s like bargaining in a 3rd world country and the process was slow. Wouldn’t go with them again
