Send-a-meal was a bereavement gift for recent widower. The site should have communicated with me about delivery status. Recipient told me when package arrived; Send-a-meal did not. Although I included a gift card with the order, it was not included in package so recipient didn’t know who package was from. Recipient has couched his opinion of the food. I do not know if he likes it.

Excellent Service. Had a problem with the delivery address and they still got the order to my daughters house just in time! Thank you!

Well, I haven't received the meal yet. Not until oct 24. Then the meal is going into the deep freeze until Thanksgiving. So I cannot attest to the quality of the meal. Until then I can only say ordering is super duper easy and the choice of menus is nice. Lots to choose from.
Update. Everything was very nice. No complaints.

The recipients were delighted! They felt like they had enough food that they could eat like kings and queens for a month.

I bought a meal for my parent's 60th wedding anniversary since they weren't really going out. They loved it! They remarked about how fresh it tasted, not like a frozen dinner. They were happy with everything about the meal.

The Lasagna and cheese cakes were very good, we did not try the vegetables because they looked unappetizing and not a good match with the lasagna.

I never received an email stating myborder was received. I placed the order as a guest and now I am unable to track the order without setting up an account. I tried to set up an account but it states my email is invalid yet now I have an email from send a meal to "voice my opinion".

I sent to my daughter and son in law for their anniversary. They are in California, but love the state of Maine, so the Maine lobster ravioli was a perfect choice for them. The dinner choices are so varied, and knowing this "send a meal" is an easy option for sending a unique gift, I will be using again. Beats sending a store gift card.

They have great service. The hold time was a little long but quick and courteous once on the phone.

When one of our employee's received his order we sent him, he contacted me to let me know his meals he received were all from Omaha steaks. We were very upset to see how much we were overcharged for each item. I compared every item to the Omaha Steak website and each one of them were jacked up in price. Each item was $5, $8, $10, $15, $20 more for the same exact items, and we paid a lot for shipping as well, over $150. We could have went directly to Omaha steaks and we would have saved ourselves over $260 and that doesn't included the $43 in coupon codes I used. This was terrible to find out. Why would we continue to do business with Sendameal, when we could just go directly to Omaha steaks and get the same exact products for less and save big on shipping? I put a call into Sendameal customer service yesterday about this and I am still waiting for a call back for them to make this situation right. Especially, since we already have spent $1,000 with Sendameal.

I've ordered Thanksgiving dinner from you for my mom for two years to be delivered the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Your confirmation email never has the correct delivery date at the the top...but if you read the entire "order" section the correct delivery date is at the very bottom.

Send a Meal is such an incredibly convenient way to send a 100% usable gift to anyone for any occasion. No more worries that your gift will go unused, as everybody needs to eat! The meals come ready to eat (just heat them up) and are delicious as well as nutritious. They have a great selection of menu items to choose from.

The family I purchased the dinner for wrote me saying the meal was WONDERFUL!! My only hesitation with giving 5 stars was with delivery time. Although I selected standard delivery, the family did not receive the package until the very last day provided for delivery date range. Shipping wasn’t cheap, so I guess I felt it might arrive on the first date of delivery range. However, I am delighted the family enjoyed the dinner and felt it was fabulous!!

I appreciate your quick response to adding a note with delivery. It was delivered to her door within the time frame requested.

Very pleased! this was my first time ordering. Ordered for a friend who is going through a difficult time. The food is wonderful and the order was received a day early! Will order from SendaMeal again.

I have no idea if the meal was delivered or when. I can't find a confirmation or any information about it!

Very please with the delivery being made as requested and that I was updated as to when it would be delivered and when it was.

I love this program. I have used it many times even before Covid-19. Their food is excellent great variety and quick delivery. I highly recommend.

Paid extra for 3 day delivery. Did not get there.
Emailed customer service. No response?

Sent as an anniversary gift and my niece and nephew were thrilled. Very high quality products. Will purchase again.
