My Order #000176512. I ordered 2 vertical blinds & was delivered on 11 Sept. The fitter just installed 2 vertical blinds for me on 12 Sept. The one in the bedroom works perfectly, but the one in the living room had an issue. I could only open & close the curtain, they didn't slide smoothly when I draw them & the slats won’t rotate to let the sunlight in.
I am writing to express my extreme disappointment & frustration regarding the unresolved issue with my curtains. It has been a full week now, and I have received absolutely NO updates, follow-up investigations, or replies from your side. I have always believed that your company is highly reputable, which makes this substandard level of service incredibly disheartening. If this matter is not properly resolved within the next three days, I will be left with a useless product and no other alternative but to demand a full refund.I expect your immediate attention to this matter.

Roman Blind & Roller Blind
We’ve used Shade & Story on two occasions now. The first order was for a roman blind and this time for a roller blind. Before we ordered the blinds we used the sample ordering service which is excellent. We are very pleased with the quality of both blinds although both have niggles with the chains. The roman blind chain is very short and fiddly to use. The roller blind chain is on the left side despite our order definitely stating it be on the right side. Despite the chain issues we are very pleased with the service & quality.

Went onto John Lewis website wanted a blind. Was directed to Shade and Story. Ordering process simple and the blind arrived quickly, however it arrived damaged. USed Live chat, emailed customer services twice and called twice. No response and left on hold before being told to email customer services by an automated message. Terrible service, don't bother using
Update-finally heard from Customer service and told the blind might be replaced. Awaiting further communication

I was happy with the ordering process…
I was happy with the ordering process and product except that the quality control was lacking. I received my 4 blinds with one that came without a handle and the other being designed different to the others. I was still able to make it work but I do now have one that has no handle. I did email them 3 weeks ago to inform them of this but still have not had a response.

Good quality product. We Made a repeat purchase having put the blinds on two windows during the very hot weather and they help to reflect some of the heat.
We are fitting these blinds to all the windows throughout the house, they look good and they work well

Shade and Story Delivery
On 7 August I went on to the John Lewis website looking for a vertical blind - I was redirected to their blind partner Shade & Story, ordered and paid for a blind.
These blinds come in 2 parts - the vertical slats and the headrail which they hang from that attaches to the wall.
The slats were manufactured by 10 August and delivered a couple of days later.
13 days & counting after the slats were delivered the headrail still hasn't been delivered and Shade and story haven't offered a firm delivery date!

When I made an order for 3 blinds it was unfortunate that the largest blind of the three could not be made with having a join in the material. I was made aware of this before the order was completed and decided not to go ahead with it as I wanted a continuous piece of material. The company offered to give a full refund which was processed quickly. Communication was great to ensure this matter was resolved. Customer service was five star worthy.
