Old stables review
‘Wow’ was the first thought that came to my mind on delivery day, when I first got a sneak peak at my new kitchen as it arrived all carefully packaged. ‘Wow’ is the same word that I have continued to hear every time I have shown someone new my kitchen.
I had a pretty clear vision of what I wanted for the space, and after months of searching and failing to find what I was after in the high street stores, I stumbled across Shaker while stuck in traffic one day.
From my first visit to their showroom in Cirencester, showing them some hand drawn designs (scribbles), they were amazing at helping bring my ideas to life.
I needed to house my sink and dishwasher in the island due to space, but I was in love with the traditional dairy tables. We talked through extending out the island slab support with bespoke legs to help achieve the seating and the look of a dairy table. The result is that I have all of the key designs and features I was after, in one and with no compromising on the classic style.
I am beyond pleased with how things have turned out. The quality of the craftsmanship is that of a luxury brand.
I can’t thank Shaker enough for helping to bring my vision to life and look forward to spending many hours in this beautiful space that I am very lucky to call mine.
