Always a friendly service, love the fact there are even more locations around now so I can have the same reliable service pretty much wherever I'm working.

Staff are always friendly, delivery service is always second to non and keep you up to date on eta delivery times, and the price point is spot on too.

Prompt response and fix to the problem

I wanted a new electric mower and I telephone and spoke to Chris. He was friendly and helpful and arranged to order the model that I required. It was in their depot in two days and the same friendly Chris talked me through it and helped to load it in my car.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hiring process was much easier and less complicated than hiring from Smiths Equip Hire and Burnley Hire Centre, after making enquires with those too with regards to the process. They were little cheaper too and collection and drop off fees were much cheaper. Good communication.

Staff were excellent. Great service and very friendly. Saffie was a complete ray of sunshine. She had tremendous enthusiasm and clearly loved her job. I managed to break the machine and Damien fixed it for without charge. Would definitely use the Skipton branch again.

I feel obliged to ammend my previous rating of 3 stars as i have been contacted by a SHC representative and he was very understanding of my dismay and sorted the issue swiftly. BRAVO!
Over all satisfactory! Usually very helpful with hire selection and the staff talk you through every aspect of safe usage. Very pleased with the front of house. The issue came when returning I was charged for a full tank of fuel even though i returned it to the brim.Sent a couple of emails about this but still no reply. Disappointing!

Very rude from Skipton Hire centre in Skipton They are totally rude and disrespectful, tried to make me pay for so called damages then called them about machine not being fit for purpose however was still charged for the time it was no operational.
Spoke to a lady at the counter however the so called lady in the back tried to throw a 2 pence remark on top, very rude and unprofessional tried to throw in a remark over the top of your colleague

Avoid at all cost, damaged machinery and will try charge you for the damages. On top of that charging me for 2 mini digger buckets being bent however I only used the one that they are not mentioning.
The man like lady on the counter very rude and unprofessional.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

SPENDING £3,000 and Getting treated the way you have treated me just because I was Asian is very disrespectful
