I purchased to fit 5 MTB's
I purchased to fit 5 MTB's, works a treat, our 12-year-old son tells me best on the market. Turns out easiest to leave on our Toyota Prado with spare mounted at back, which means as highlighted by a recent pulling over by a Transport Inspector, the numberplate board and auxiliary plate is required to always be attached to satisfy QLD's 45-degree visible rule. Figure best to fix with cable tires or bolts as good chance, someone will souvenir.

This is our second Shingleback
This is our second Shingleback - fantastic product. Very prompt delivery and easy to assemble. I have a small Subaru and was concerned I wouldn't be able to easily access the hatch - no problem at all! So easy to move rack - even when loaded with E-bikes. I would have liked to see more photos of similar vehicles as I would have bought the four instead of the three (so compact) but otherwise a brilliant experience.

Great service. Fast shipping.
Only thing that would make their racks better would be to zinc plate it before powder coating it. Yeh it’s an added cost but would be worth it for those of us that want to leave the rack on the car for extended periods.

Hi Alex, thanks for the support! Great news, we do even better than zinc plate! We use Australian made Duragal steel which has the big bonus of actually coating the inside of the hollow tubes with a proper zinc coating. Steel tube that is just zinc plated only has a thin layer of zinc on the outside and the process actually removes the factory oil from the inside and promotes rust. Yes, Duragal steel is an added cost but it's to give you piece of mind that your Shingleback rack is built to last!
