I have ordered for this company before and hadnt gone through this problem before I place an order for a vehicle and they sent me the parts but the parts were incomplete. There was a one wrong shock in the box so I tried contacting to give reimburse or send me the correct one that took about a week and a half to two weeks for me to get a response and finally the extra shock was sent so I couldn’t finish this vehicle until I received the other shock cause I couldn’t put three shocks on the four wheel car other than that the price was great I said never had these kind of Problem before

Great products and pricing. Everyone is professional and has excellent knowledge and helpful.

The product was great but I did have a rough time ordering. I had to call in multiple times because the price would raise significantly from the price advertised when I would put the item in the cart. I wish I could have just made the purchase over the phone but they said that wasn’t an option. I also paid for a quick build and delivery and was told the shocks would be shipped out that week. I had to call in and ask about them and they didn’t get shipped until the following week. It was still fast considering the normal lead time, just frustrating that I had to call the company so many times. Overall I am very satisfied with the product, I just think it could have been easier and it would have been completely fine if I wasn’t in a hurry trying to get the vehicle fixed asap.

Very happy with my purchase from Shock Surplus. Ordered Bilstein 8100s front and rears + ome 2895 springs. Took a few weeks for everything to come in but not a big deal.
They even had bilstein drop ship the rear shocks to make it quicker.

The hardest thing was determining the exact PNs due to the websites images not matching the exact products in the 8100 kits. Just take your time or call/email, they were on top of the communication with any questions I had.

I would highly recommend them and use them again.

Terrible company. I ordered a set of Bilstein Shocks, totalling 2300. They just sent one. They sent another 3wks later, which was the incorrect item. I returned it, and after much waiting. Decided on a refund. They never refunded my money. This was mid March, and as of today, its the end of April. I call and they are friendly. But no resolution. Bad experience, never again.

Wrong part sent back been waiting 3 weeks for the refund also ordered a steering damper over 2 months and still not delivered got tracking number has not moved yet can’t get any help from customer support digital assistance not helpful they have my money and I don’t have what I ordered very disappointed will not recommend to anyone very pissed off

We purchased a shock for our motorhome and a few weeks later we wound up returning the motorhome due to unforeseen mechanical issues it had that we couldn’t repair. Shock surplus helped me from the start of my return request and I received my money back after about 14 days or so ! I plan on ordering again from them their team is top notch on communication and I very much appreciate all their help they gave me !

Shock Surplus did an excellent job with my order. I got exactly what I wanted in a timely manner, and everything fit great. I feel like they sell good products at a reasonable price. I will buy from Shock Surplus again, and would refer them to others.

The personal interaction was great. The staff steered me towards the right struts. The cost savings was fantastic saving, close 60 percent for oem supplier struts verses the local dealer. Same strut, different price.

Fox shocks were fine. Shipped later than they anticipated. Roost shield that was recommended with these shocks don’t fit. Went through return process as recommended by web video. No response. They make it darn near impossible to do a return even if it’s their issue.

I emailed company representative prior to placing the order to ask what shocks would fit my Japanese market Toyota Prado imported truck. I was guaranteed the ones he recommended would fit. Unfortunately, shocks did not fit due to mounting point differences and they said they can send another version of the same shocks with different mounting point to which I declined and just wanted to return the shocks. They mailed me the different shocks anyway. I had to return (8) shocks in total and asked for a full refund. Refund came back $50 because of restocking fees that I did not feel responsible for since I bought what was recommended but it did not. I feel the right way to handle this was to do a full refund. After asking for a full refund they stopped answering the emails. I would not buy anything from them in future due to this sole reason. I bet they sell great products but customer support is not there yet.

We ordered new shocks for our truck and they came quickly with no issues. We had them on in just a couple hours and we ready to hit the road again. Thanks guys!
