I buy clip earrings from them, shipping is extremely high, handling fees are a joke, and when I get the earrings they are not matched up, broken and useless!!! Do not buy from them. They are in it just to make millions off of us. I am done !!!!

I've bid on a number of items, both winning and losing. I've always received my item with decent packaging. The finds are fantastic for the price. Apparently a lot of reviews I've seen are negative, but I suspect it's mostly people who got something different from what they expected (like they expected something new, when it was clearly a used item), or were outbid and angry for losing, because they didn't read the fine print or examine the pics closely. I'm fine with their no-return policy, you get what you pay for.

What a scam, they lie and say there is no issues with things then they arrive in a completely different condition.
Don’t get me started on the “Unsorted”jewelry lots, they are very clearly sorted, they will literally sell you a 200$ box of garbage and broken dollar store jewelry. Never again

They employ so many shill bidders that if you do what I do and track every item and see how often it comes back up for bid.

They need to have a class action levied against them.

They are also committing postal fraud.

Beware they leave the bids open past bidding time to get a higher price even if your the highest price at the time the bid should end.

Be aware if you only bank with One Bank like I do I have a Capital One and they're not accepting any of your payments they'll try to ask you for a different form of payment if you don't they're not going to remove anything off of your selection mind you I spend more than $1,000 with them with purchases and I just recently had these two purchases not been able to be purchased minding you I called my bank like they told me to and Capital One told me they denied payment and I messaged them with screenshots showing that they canceled the payment. And they asked me do I have another payment which I only use Capital One and now I cant and the sellers I'm messaging are basically telling me to use another form of payment after I told them this is my only form of payment. They're not taking it off of my list I have to I can't bid or anything minding you I spend more than $1,000 I asked them numerous times to remove it one seller said they would remove it but they never removed it. I love shopping at Goodwill stores but the online customer service support is the one at minding you I messaging two sellers and both sellers or pretty adamant on me trying to make another payment with a different payment. After I send them screenshots of their error and I have to pay for this. This is unfair. And I will be complaining to corporate.

How you can charge twice the price of shipping for an item that weighs less then 1 pound is ridiculous. If you want to over charge just make the price higher to begin with. Dont tell me it costs $15 dollars on top of your service fees. Ten dollar items become forty dollars very quickly. Not to mention charging more for open box items then they cost in the store.

I usually don't leave reviews (bad) about any website in particular because I feel there are worse things out there to spend your valuable time in doing so but this is one of those cases were I feel I have to. Goodwill is all about "thanks for your donations/support, thats what keeps us going, its people like you blah blah blah....". I'll keep this is short and to the point as possible (apoligies in advance). Basically, I won an auction on their site and ended up paying $103 and some change only to have to wait 2 weeks for them not to ship my order, contacted the seller to receive no response so I had to contact their 'HQ'. I ended up receiving a refund because they discovered that "the listing was erroneously posted twice"?? All good on that part but if people are 'supporting you and keeping you going', why waste their time and show how unprofessional you are by not even being able to stay on top of orders and provide decent customer support? To me its a big joke how a business that people support can't even fulfill a simple order. Goodwill needs to step it up a notch and not be just about receiving but also giving back; if everyone decided not to donate, goodwill wouldn't even exist! I suggest they STOP screwing over the people that are donating or spending their hard earned money because it can all go downhill pretty fast.

The most inept and intentionally deceptive auction business practices I've encountered, over and over again. Obvious significant damage is rarely noted or photographed and occurs with just about every purchase. If a statue were to be offered missing its head, it would not surprise me for the item to be pictured from the neck down only and with a condition description of "good with some wear." Shipping is always a disaster. Items chucked into a box with no bubblewrap or anything and some paper dropped on top. The just don't give a sh*t.

My issue with shopgoodwill is simple I won an item gavel down invoice sent pay and the location is thinking they can back out of the transaction and won't even follow there own policies cause I won the item amf and then want to do after the gavel went down and that's not good business in any practice shame on shopgoodwill I won said item for 680.11 plus shipping and they don't want to honor the sale

I recently discovered Goodwill Online. I signed up for an account and began scrolling. Ten days later I got an email telling me I had failed to pay for an item I had won. Honestly, I don't remember pushing the place bid button and I never received any type of acknowledgement that I had placed a bid. But ok, maybe I did and just don't remember it. The real shocker came in the form of their shipping fee. For a wornout pair of cheap earring that i paid $10 for, they charged $9.88 to ship fedex. Why couldn't they bother to drop them in a small padded envelope and stick it in there outgoing USPS mail? Stupid! I will delete my account for sure. No more "accidental" purchases with horrendous shipping fees.

The online bidding is ridiculous. I do not believe how the price of stuff is so high . I really don’t believe that people are that stupid to bid up gold plated jewelry to 600.00. I think most of that bidding is done by computers or goodwill staff themselves to run up the bidding price, cause that’s just ignorant

ShopGoodwill and Goodwill in general have really gone down hill over the last 10 years, Just when you thought it couldn't any worse. From shill bidders to outrageous shipping fees and to top that all off, it takes 5-7 days just to ship said item.

I made a purchase from the Shopgoodwill North Florida online site. I received the order with very little wrapping around a fragile item that was placed in the bottom of the box with other heavier items tossed in on top. Of course the item arrived broken. I immediately contacted them to ask for them to initiate a refund with FedEx. I sent four pictures showing the undamaged box, the broken item in the small amount of bubble wrap that surrounded the item, and close ups of the damaged item showing the item was not reparable. I have sent 6 messages since with no response since their original request to send pictures. Not a good company to purchase from…very poor customer service, and no common sense when shipping items. Very high shipping costs for weight and size of items.

While my experience has been mostly positive so far, the exorbitant shipping costs have been ridiculous, especially considering items that I have paid to be shipped via FedEx and then they ship via USPS. I have also noticed more than once that I will be outbid at the last moment on an item that I am closely tracking because the app glitches. I understand that it happens and it could be a coincidence but it seems to happen on items that would have a high resell ROI.

Goodwill is neither good or of will. This is a classic listless bureaucracy full of dopes and ding dongs. Every facet of the operation is beyond repair. Choose to purchase somewhere else or go to your local store and experience these Klingons head on and leave your brain home.

I purchased what was described as a vintage silver and gold earrings and necklace. I paid an embarrassing amount of money. When they arrived I wore the earrings and they immediately broke. I took them to a jewelery to repair and was told it was cheap costume jewelry made from pot metal and gold paint. I contacted Goodwill and they sincerely apologized
I was to send them the evaluation from the jeweler. It took sometime to repair but I followed up with the receipts and the letter from the jeweler to Goodwill. I continued to contact them until I got a reply. I was told it was their policy that items must be returned in seven days. This discussion is closed.
I did not see one statement saying that. Frustration grew when all my conversation had to be online. I finally called Goodwill of Cleveland who had put the falsely described jewelry on the auction site. The rep was very kind and directed my call to the director. I left a message but never received a call back.
I know many people that shop at goodwill and every chance I get I tell them not to waste their money on this so called "charity"

If I could it would be ZERO.

It dose no good to try and return as the time and expense reshipping is crazy.

Jus don’t buy and thing photograph related.

Poor photo quality, giltchy website, most bids cost on pacific time, item quality ‘as is’, $2-3 handling + tax from area sold + shipping means you’re going to pay approximately $15-$20 over the cost of the item to get it. Not worth it. Purchased a few things to try the service, never again.

Shipping is way to expensive. They should go back to in-store jewelry shopping. I bought two items. First and last time.
