My Husband and I are getting ready to move into our new house at Oakmere Ridge, Ellesmere.
Our move has been stressful, as we are in our late seventies and I am disabled, but we cannot speak highly enough of the help and support we have been given from Sarah Cotton, the Sales Executive.
She has been there with us every step of our new home journey, always going above and beyond, with every aspect of the build stages and now chasing Solicitors, Estate Agents etc to push our chain to a successful moving date,
We have had several New Build houses, but Shropshire Homes are by far, the best build, presentation and finishings we have experienced.

We’ve just moved into our new home at Oakmere Ridge in Ellesmere, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. Everyone we dealt with at Shropshire Homes was friendly and helpful throughout the process.

A special mention to Sarah from the Sales Office, she was fantastic! She guided us every step of the way, was always quick to respond to our questions, and kept us updated with regular calls, which really helped ease a lot of the stress.

I have been visiting their sales office in Ditton Priors - called Derrington Meadows - since it first opended in May of this year. There I was met by sales rep CAROLINE. She is a lovely, wonderful person who made me feel most welcome. This is a great small site of less than 45 properties - so an excellent edge of a village location which has all very good services accessed by foot. I must say that Caroline is an excellent sales person for their company. She is very professional, polite and courteous. She knows their properties entirely and is never lost for the answer to my questions. No doubt she is an excellent Ambassador for their company and I just hope that her managers really appreciate her. I am un-decided on which plot to reserve/purchase and so I have walked down to the sales office a number of times. Each visit, I get the same most welcoming reception from her. A relaxed place to be. During my years I have purchased a number of new properties and also visited many sales offices, but this experience with Caroline beats all! Thanks Caroline.

We moved into our Shropshire Homes property 2 weeks ago . We couldn’t be happier with the service we have received so far . Our property is at the Oakmere Ridge development in Ellesmere and Sarah our sales executive has been just incredible as has Emma .
The communication throughout the process was exemplary from Sarah from day one . Apart from being super friendly and personable Sarah was never a ‘pushy’ sales person . You can tell she believes in the homes she is selling and any very minor issues have been immediately resolved . This development is still being built so I have met quite a few of the building site team and they could not be more helpful or friendly .
To sign off I would 100% recommend Shropshire Homes we couldn’t be happier .

We are currently buying our second Shropshire Homes house and couldn’t fault the process on either occasion! We are currently dealing with Maggie our sales exec and she has been great, keeping us in the loop throughout. The process both times over has been seamless and as straightforward as buying a house could be!

The team are very friendly and helpful. They have kept in contact with updates and always available to answer my queries.

Buying a home on Oakmere Ridge, Ellesmere has been a stressful experience as we live 260 miles away at the moment. However, Sarah Cotton has been the most amazing help with all matters from choosing tiles, kitchen units, carpets etc. She has been at the end of the phone at any time to discuss and help with any worries we have had. Although she must be dealing with many buyers at once, we almost feel like she is only working for us! I don’t think we would survive the process without her.

Completed on property at Foundry Point, Whitchurch 30.6.25 All the Shropshire Homes sales team we dealt with were amazing, but a big shout out has to go to Ruth who was very helpful, nothing was too much trouble and she was extremely patient! The next development Ruth works on will be very lucky to have her!

Caroline/Maggie/Jean and Helen were all extremely helpful through of home buying journey.

Visited Oakmere Ridge site at the weekend, once on Saturday and then again on Sunday. Hadn’t come across Shropshire Homes before (new to the area) but they are one of the best builders we have seen and really care about their buyers. Sarah Cotton was helpful beyond expectations, nothing was too much trouble. Talked to some owners on site and they have really positive feedback on the houses and the company. Will definitely be considering them for our new home.

I’ll be moving into my new home at Oakmere Ridge next week. The site is so well looked after and is kept super tidy, even though construction is ongoing.
Everyone I have had contact with at Shropshire homes have been so helpful and supportive and always get back to me when I have had any queries or needed help. Andy, who did the pre completion inspection, was so good at explaining how everything, especially the heat pump, worked. He spotted a few snags that I hadn’t even noticed!
Sarah in the sales office has been amazing. She has been SO helpful and has made what has been quite a stressful time so much easier, from chasing solicitors, which she had to do quite a lot! to sorting out any queries I may have had. I can’t praise her enough.

We have just exchanged contracts on our new home at Oakmere Ridge. From our first enquiries, Sarah Cotton has been informative, helpful and patient with us. She has kept us fully updated at all stages so far. We are looking forward to seeing our home develop over the next few months. We have also been introduced to the site manager, Steve Coffey who was also very helpful.

We have had a great experience with Shropshire homes whilst looking for our first home, we were well looked after at Oakmere Ridge Ellesmere by Sarah! From first viewing to completion she was always on the other end of the phone with updates and answers to any questions we had. We can’t wait to experience our new home and feel as though we’ve been well informed with anything that may come up.

A 1* for customer service, I love my house we are both very proud of getting a property however, it’s leaked several times and I’m still waiting for snags to be fixed after 11 months including a mouldy porch and bad fitted kitchen. The manager on site avoided us after knowing what issues we were having and now he’s left our emails have conveniently been replied back too, customer care is solving the issue now if not we have to take it further, it’s endless. Very poor and disappointing as I previous wrote a lovely review before problems started to occur.

I’ve had a number of issues since purchasing my property at Forest Edge in Loggerheads, and the blatant lack of response from customer services has been shocking. On the rare occasions I do get a response, it often feels dismissive—almost as if they’re not interested in the concerns I’ve raised.

The customer journey started off well, with good communication and support before completion. However, once the property was handed over, everything changed. That’s when the problems began, and the level of service significantly declined.

It’s incredibly disappointing to feel ignored after making such a major investment. Aftercare should be just as important as the sales process, but sadly, that hasn't been my experience.

Would absolutely recommend Shropshire Homes, especially if all teams are just like who helped me with my home in Oakmere Ridge.
Sarah, Emma and towards the end Caroline were nothing but friendly, helpful and knowledgable with anything I came to them with; in particular, the weekly updates with solicitors. There were a few times were I felt like I was in the dark.. (although I can’t fault Hatcher’s who were recommended by Shropshire Homes)I would update them and without asking .. 5 minutes later they would call me back, have an update for me and reassure me that everything was on track.. I even ended up moving in earlier than expected!
I have never had a smoother, easier and care free journey.
A special mention to Andy who made sure I had last minute extras in place and installed before I moved in! Also Roger who helped me navigate all the tech bits throughout the home.
I met one tradesman (didn’t catch his name) who walked me through my house earlier than expected and pulled up snags before I even had a chance to spot them and was true to his word.. I have yet to find anything.

We will soon be moving into our new home at Oakmere Ridge in Ellesmere and so far our dealings with Shropshire Homes have been faultless. Moving house is inevitably a stressful time, but I can honestly say that Sarah and Emma have made sure that there is no stress with our purchase! Nothing is too much trouble, and every effort made to accommodate requests etc - they have the patience of saints!!!
Sarah informs me of how the build is going along the way, and makes sure that I will meet key personnel on site… a real good feeling that they are working together within the company to deliver!
Having purchased properties from larger builders previously, I value how Shropshire Homes are treating me as a person rather than a number

Our sales executive Ruth has made our journey to getting our first home incredible! Phil the site manager made sure everything was perfect for us, and we will forever be greatful to them both for making our experience super easy (as easy as buying a home can be) and keeping us updated at every step!
