Shurgard Self Storage - Putney Reviews 

Wanted to know a bit more info about the unit an Anthony really sold it to me and I am so happy. Thank you Anthony

We decided to downsize our storage unit so I emailed shurguard and received an immediate response from Caroline who responded to my questions clearly and concisely in a friendly tone. We arranged to meet with Anthony to view a smaller unit. Anthony attended the meeting on time, was extremely helpful, informative, professional, friendly and put us at ease. The process of downsizing was seamless and very quick. Thank you Anthony for your help in making the transition a smooth one.

I am so much stressed after getting unit from Putney shurguard . 1st they did not offer any unit in ground floor while I can see 7 units been empty .all they offer me 1st floor unit charged me 1 invoice and after 3 days they charged me 1390£ same room after 10 days they send another invoice of 1390 £ is this a joke ?? I went to store and they said manager Zac is not here and call me another day again manager wasn't Thier after visiting store multiple times they finally said Thier manager Zac has 2 weeks holiday and they can't do anything about it . And ask me to leave premises otherwise my entrance will be blocked and my stock will be hostile .I didn't have any choice left I quickly have to empty the unit it cost me another 800£ for labour and transport . Plus need to pay another unit .moral of the story spent 3000£ and headache for free for 15 days never again with them monsters

Scammed me…,..,,,I have taken 1 £ deal from this store .after 2 days I have seen 1390£ been deducted from my account .called many times spoke with different people 1 blaming other and my money been disappeared.i can’t even charge back .cause moment you pay 1£ deal it goes to autopay .their they can take as much money they want ….,big scam of the history don’t fall their good rating .they scam nice people…..

Super efficient and user friendly. Clean grounds and building and super accommodating and helpful staff (Anthony and Caroline especially).

Gareth was very helpful and professional.I was in a very difficult situation and really needed professional advice to find the right locker, He was very empathetic and patient. He presented high senses of problem solving skills. I have been coming back and forth to take my stuff and I will not hesitate to say that Gareth is the best of his team!! He should be promoted!

⛔️⛔️⛔️ I Was just Threatened by a member of staff at Putney branch !!!!⛔️⛔️⛔️

just visited your branch in Putney and I was speaking with one of your staff behind the counter ,( I think it was Antony ) I said I have a unit here but it's address in my friends name and I wanted to know when then unit end date for the unit. I understand when he said he cannot give out personal information but I told him I'm not asking personal details just want to know when the unit end date is. I also explained that everything in the unit belongs to me and I have the app with the code to go in.
I told him I wanted to get a smaller unit instead , He said if I knew his date of birth so I rang my friend to ask him.
After that he said I must ask him to send your staff member an email explaining that he's given me authority.
I explained to your staff that I just need the date nothing else so I don’t get any unwanted charges from your company… to which he started to be very awkward towards me.

He then shouted at me to leave. I said no and he got off his chair and started walking towards the front doors and shouting at me saying leave the premises now, to which I felt very alarmed and distressed and very scared. There was no one else in the reception. As
I was leaving he was standing by the entrance door which made it difficult to pass him, anyway I walked out and he’s still shouting at me using abusing language, & said DONT COME BACK VERY AGGRESSIVELY.
I didn’t even look back. Very disappointed and disrespectful behaviour. LIKE HE NEVER GOT BASIC TRAINING FROM HOME.
How can you employ people like that.

I will now be making a complaint with the police and asking them to come to the unit with me and wait while I remove my belongings as I feel very u comfortable on my own.
I have found another unit and will be going to Putney in due course to empty out.

THIS COMPANY LOST 2x could have been long term Customer. Just because of his behaviour towards a customer.

SO ONCE AGAIN AVOID THIS PLACE GO YELLOW STORAGE
OR
GET A LOCKUP MUCH CHEAPER THAN THESE GUYS.

Gareth was very helpful and friendly - showed us around a couple of different size units, made sure we got a good deal and explained how everything worked. He even got me a trolley so I wouldn’t have to leave my stuff alone.

Caroline and Anthony are always very helpful and friendly; nothing is too much trouble for them. Thank you.

Anthony and Caroline were exceptional. We came to clear out our storage unit due to moving away and they made it such a smooth and stress free experience. It’s great to know such lovely and helpful individuals that care about customer service are still out there. Thanks so much guys, it really meant a lot.

I’ve had a great experience with Shurgard Putney. The staff there are genuinely amazing always friendly, helpful, and professional. Every time I’ve needed assistance, they’ve been quick to help and made everything straightforward.
I also really love the Shurgard app. Opening the gate via the app is extremely convenient, and the whole system is close to zero contact, which is fantastic. You can book, manage, and access everything directly from your phone, which makes storage very easy to use.
The only small downside is that whenever you close a contract and later open a new one or renew, you have to upload your ID again. That’s not always ideal when you need something last minute. It would be great if there was an option to securely save ID details for future contracts, so returning customers don’t need to re-upload documents every time.
Overall, amazing storage, a smart system, and an outstanding team at the Putney branch. Highly recommended.

So easy to book and you can get a storage unit the same day. The staff at the office are really helpful, the storage unit is so secure and the trolleys are so useful when transporting your belongings. Make sure you download the app as this helps you gain access to your unit.

I can’t remember the name of the guy who helped me at the Putney store but he was really helpful and made the whole process really smooth and easy.
