Easy and cheaper than the hire car insurance quoted. Would recommend.

Great service and communication

Excellent car hire excess insurance - kept me updated with all relevant information with emails. It was about £100 cheaper than the hire company quote. Excellent value and good peace of mind. Would highly recommend them. 👍

Have used Simply Excess a couple of times this year an found them super efficient. Never had to make a claim with them so cannot comment on that. Great to have peace of mind and the hire car tips were really useful.

Excellent service highly recommend company. Received tips before departure and prior to returning the car I found these tips very useful and were very much appreciated.

Great experience. Easy to get a quote, which was reasonably priced. I did not make a claim so I have not tested that part of the service, but email communications from SimplyExcess were very good -informative, full of relevant tips and guidance, particularly when handing the rental car back. I would use them again without hesitation.

Thankfully didn’t need to claim so can’t comment on any claim issues. However, this firm was professional throughout the process with excellent communication before and after the rental and very well priced. Will definitely use again.

The use of stripe as a payment system gave me a panic as the first email I received even before I got any confirmation or policy documents was a request by "Link", who I had never heard of, to verify my email. I looked up Link.com it has a trust pilot rating of 1.8!!! Please use more reputable payment providers or at least give a heads up of who might contact you.

I was glad I took this insurance out. Fortunately I didn’t need to make a claim but after last year when I bought the extra insurance at the car rental desk ( which ended up costing more than the rental) I was grateful I had it.

Luckily we didn’t need to use this! It was great to have the peace of mind it offered, though, and communication and information given was really helpful.

Excellent independent insurance option, we booked a rental car online and chose to take out separate insurance just in case we needed it. Thankfully we didn't but it was great peace of mind and everything was really straightforward with SimplyExcess.

Arranged on line. I looked at comparison site - Simply Excess were not the cheapest but they did have good reviews. Fortunately, didn't need to use the Policy but set up and support from Simply Excess all worked very well. I will use again in future.

I used simply Excess for the first time to get car insurance cover for a hire car. The service has been top class. Easy to get a quote and great price. Communication is excellent. You get an email/text before you pick up the car with handy tips, ie, photos, documents and another before you return the car. Policy is clearly laid out what's covered and will definitely use them again next year.

SimplyExcess basically holds your hand all the way from the start of the hired car abroad to the end. It's important to adhere to all tips and suggestions the insurance provide so you can focus on enjoying your holiday and peace of mind. I had seven wonderful days touring Sicily.

I got car rental excess insurance from SimplyExcess and it all went smoothly. I got the quote from a price comparison site and they were the most competitive, and in terms of service, I got all the info I needed when I booked it but also got a couple of emails with some reminders/tips as the start and end of the hire approached. Nothing I didn't already know but it was appreciated nonetheless
