I have never done anything like this before and to be honest, was extremely hesitant. I went with a friend but lots of people were there alone and it was a really great night. We didn't have expectations to meet 'the one', we just wanted to have a fun night and that's exactly what we did! Talked to some amazing people, had some drinks and felt super comfortable and at ease the whole time. The hosts were fab and welcoming.

I treat Single and Mingle as a good value night out where I can meet people whom I would otherwise never meet. Most of the venues are good, and in the Nottingham area are accessible either by car or tram. There is generally a relaxed atmosphere with the safe knowledge that the attendees are single and wanting to meet other singles, certainly without the 'wild west' nature of dating apps. I would say you should attend several events without high expectations to get the flavour and used to the feel in general. I have been attending for well over a year and look forward to each outing. Give it a whirl!

I have been to a few single and mingle nights and really enjoyed them. The Christmas quiz was great fun. The hosts are lovely and it’s a great way to meet new people.

Great venue , nice people and well organised . Just a shame it's not a bit nearer to Derby !

Held at Courts near Cardiff. Terrible as should have been cancelled as nearly all women. Awful hosting as after the initial hello that was it. No proper introduction to the non event. No mingling possible as tables pushed against the wall and no bell so there was no encouragement for people to move on and talk to others. One man left after being left on his own during the first half hour. A right rip off considering the cost of a ticket.

Hi my name is Luke, I’ve attended a few single&mingle nights in Nottingham especially like the brewhouse and kitchens venue , it’s got a great atmosphere it’s big and plenty of room , great selection of beer , the spot inside where they host the event is right next to decking area so in summer it’s brilliant, everyone is friendly and welcoming, if it’s your first time thinking of going to one they always have different things to break the ice like cards with things saying like what’s the scariest thing you have done , just to get you started in a conversation, I would highly recommend going to one there a great night out to socialise and meet new people .
