Helen delivered an engaging and genuinely enjoyable first aid course. She explained everything clearly, encouraged questions, and took the time to answer all of my additional queries in detail. I’ve come away from the three‑day training feeling confident, informed, and like I’ve learnt so much. I’d highly recommend Helen/St Johns to anyone looking to build their first aid skills.

I have been daunted by doing first aid training for a while and Helen made it so easy and such a relaxed atmosphere that the daunting perception just disappeared. Practicing was not awkward at all and receiving small adjustments during the practices made it so much easier to find the flow and get things right without pressure.

The Mental Health First Aider training at St John's Ambulance was an informative and educational course. The trainer was really good at including everyone in topics and the information used was relevant and informative.

Great trainer, hands on course, lots of good information

E-mail communication was good very quick and detailed. The courses I wanted were available and booked quickly and easily with no hastle.

Fantastic banter, really memorable teaching. I'll remember so much more from this course than my previous one. Truly engaging and the use of real life examples make it hit home and sink in much more readily. Excellent all round

Completed the First Aid at Work course with St John Ambulance, and I found it to be an excellent experience. The trainer was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the course engaging with plenty of practical activities and real-life scenarios. The content was easy to understand, and I now feel much more confident in dealing with emergency situations.

The course was well organised, informative, and interactive, making it enjoyable from start to finish. I would highly recommend St John Ambulance to anyone looking to complete a First Aid at Work course or improve their first aid skills. Thank you for such a valuable and worthwhile training experience!

Great few days and the trainers are full of knowledge

The trainer on the 2nd and 3rd days was outstanding. He gave an in depth background to the course and was extremely experienced in what he was delivering.
I would recommend this particular course due to the content and delivery method.

The course was very informative, practicals were easy to follow and the tutor was engaging and explained everything clearly. I have done many courses with St Johns and all of which I have enjoyed.

Excellent trainer, she was very informative and made the experience fun.

The course tutor was welcoming and made the atmosphere comfortable. I practised CPR, the recovery position, and how to treat minor injuries. The course was interesting and helped me feel more confident and refresh my knowledge about first aid.
