I was passed on to Simon via my local doctor as my eye was turning extremely red very quickly, after speaking to Simon he quickly reassured me that I had fractured a blood vessel but not be alarmed as my medication caused the bleeding ( blood thinner) and within two days the problem had gone…..panic over. I contacted Simon Kleyn, Earls Colne as I didn't know who else to turn to with sore eyes and redness. Within 2 hours I was seen and expertly looked after. It was amazing! Excellent service and attention and covered by the NHS, which was an added bonus.

I cannot recommend this opticians highly enough. The receptionists are very friendly and helpful, appointments are readily available and Simon Kleyn is a very thorough optician who has seen me through laser treatment for pressure in the eyes, a cataract operation and most recently he advised me on managing dry eye treatment.

Friendly and excellent service. Simon explained the procedure he was carrying out step by step giving reassurance. He was very thorough. I would definitely return to see him and would recommend to my friends and family.

Simon saw me the day within 24 hours of me phoning about floaters and flashing in my left eye. He is extremely professional and from the start of the examination I had 100% trust in him. He explained fully and answered all my questions. I would strongly recommend this practice.

I have just received excellent service from this optician. I was worried about the blood that had appeared in my eye. I was able to get an appointment quickly. He diagnosed and gave me all the information I requested. Feel reassured now that it is nothing serious.

From walk-in in the door your made to feel relaxed and welcome
Simon explained step by step what was happening and what I need to do to fix the problem and the fact that it’s covered by the NHS helped as I had no idea how expensive this could be on a very limited budget

I have had an eye irritation for a couple of years. After my eyes were examined every thing was explained very clearly as to what was wrong and what treatment I needed. My eyes have improved considerably in just a few weeks and continue to get better. Excellent service, Highly recommended .

After suffering with dry eye due to a damaged tear duct I saw Simon Kleyn who after examination prescribed a new gel to use at night which has been a great help.
