This was an amazing trip! Pete and Dave were wonderful guides, supporting us through the more challenging parts of the journey and giving us loads of helpful info. The wild campsites were brilliant and the meals they cooked were delicious. They encouraged us to work as a team both on and off the water (you need to portage around several locks), and gauged our energy levels for each part really well, explaining the options we had for getting to the next rest stop or overnight stay. The scenery is stunning and it feels like a true achievement when you get to the end.

Great trip with 2 fantastic guides - Chuckey and Elin. Highly recommend. All gear provided, food was good, great group of paddlers. Our 2 guides were knowledgeable, competent and looked after us well.

Fabulous time! The weather was very kind to us - we had a taste of everything it seems - the gentle canoeing through the stillwater canals & lochs surrounded by pine forests & mountain peaks is just beautiful. The leader (Robson) expertly guided us in the logistics of portaging around the locks and finding & setting up wild camps. We also had the opportunity to adopt the rafting technique for more stability & teamwork in choppy waters. Plus we tried a bit of sailing in our canoes! On top of all these experiences was the convenience of all equipment being provided by the company, we just needed to bring ourselves & personal clothing/footwear etc. Robson also took photos/videos for us to take away. 5/5 stars!

A really excellent trip. Well organized with a guide who knows his stuff, and a very competent assistant. The canoes were stable and handled well. Days were not too strenuous, though you were paddling for up to 6 hours a day with breaks. Portages were short except for Ft Augustus. I'm 70 and didn't have any issues. Wild campsites were generally very good and the food reasonable for the preparation and storage conditions. Our group mainly gelled very well, with plenty of campfire socializing in the evenings ( and at other times when we took breaks). I'd do it again in a heartbeat!

From start to finish I was looked after really well, especially as my stay was slightly off-itinerary. I was helped by Lahouciene with my transfer arrangements and was welcomed by everyone at Riad Bab (shout out to a very patient Abdul!). From arranging a solo room to help with my very heavy bag, even on to the next Riad.

I found this a challenging experience from start to finish, both mentally and physically. I will add that I’m not used to travelling alone or trekking at altitude.

Our guides Hasan and Ayoub looked after our group really well, keeping us informed, checking up on our welfare, feeding us, pacing our climb and descent and all with such a great sense of humour.

Highlights for me: our guides/our group/seeing mountain life/stunning scenery.
Lowlights: the refuge was very crowded but, it’s a mountain hut and it did the job/my cardio fitness needs work.

Overall, I’m not sure I could have booked with anyone else and had a better experience. Thoroughly recommend!

It was incredible, from the start to the finish ! For many reasons ! Of course the views were breathtaking! Rich our guide was great, on the last peak Snowdon, near the top i had a moment were I needed to dig deep, Rich’s encouragement gave me exactly what I needed for the last push ! He was a wealth of knowledge/ experience and was amazing with the whole team over the 24hrs each there for different reasons. I’ve learnt so much and given me confidence and a new love to go and explore further ! Thank you once again for the smooth organisation throughout , the drivers , and Rich the ‘mountain goat’ top guy !

I booked this trip up for myself and a friend as we were both turning 60. I was panicking before we arrived as I knew fine well I was out of shape and thought I might have bitten off more than I could chew. Despite all my fears and misgivings we rock up to discover we were not the oldest a 70 year old woman was also on the trip. Our guide Chris was so helpful and patient making sure we were firstly safe but also encouraging and cajoling us to really challenge ourselves. I had the best time, yes it was challenging and I was tired out at the end of every day but it was a good tired a feeling that we’d achieved something. Chris and Oli were amazing and so incredibly lovely and helpful. I would recommend this trip to anyone with a can do attitude that wants to blow the cobwebs off and likes to work as part of a team because
we all needed to muck in carrying equipment supplies etc to camp and back again. What an incredible experience, I think I might have caught the bug for the great outdoors. Thank you Chris and Oli you were the best.

A very enjoyable experience, the guides where very helpful, keep us safe at all times, personally I was very happy with the way the whole trip was organised from start to finish.

I’ve just completed the Canoe Across Scotland experience and it exceeded every expectation. Chucky was an outstanding guide – calm, knowledgeable, patient and clearly very experienced. Elin was equally brilliant, and together they made the whole journey feel safe, well organised, and genuinely enjoyable. Everything was run so professionally, and it’s clear how much thought and expertise goes into making this such an amazing adventure. The group were amazing too, which made the whole experience even better. I’d recommend this to anyone looking for a really special, memorable experience. A solid 10/10.

I have just completed the Three Peaks Challenge (24 hours) with Mountaineerin and it was expertly organised. We had a different guide for each mountain, which worked brilliantly; each one brought local knowledge and support that felt perfectly suited to their terrain.

I was expecting this to be a type 2 fun adventure, but there were plenty of moments of pure joy along the way... running down the snow on Ben Nevis, picking our way up Scafell Pike in the dark and silence, and scrambling up the Pyg Track. Loved the whole experience! Thank you guys for making the experience so great

I've just completed the national 3 peaks challenge and our trip was amazing though at times but the group i was with were great the pushing each other and just so helpful a real great effort by everyone.johnathan our guide for the trip was absolutely brilliant from the start to finish he explained everything so well and made sure the group always stayed together and we were safe at all times.I will definitely be booking another trip with skyhook everything was organised perfectly 👌

My Everest Base Camp trek was an amazing experience. We had Bir, our guide and group leader, who demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills, professionalism, maturity and knowledge which helped make this trip a success and enjoyable at personal as well at the group level. Kisan and Takpa took care of our luggage/excess belongings and they were really helpful throughout the trip. They were pleasant, hard-working and important members of the team. Skyhook adventure had made the necessary arrangements to ensure our comfort and safety throughout the duration of the trip. We were lucky to have good weather on our side and had the most amazing time on the trek. The rugged and majestic mountain peaks of the Himalayas stood tall and provided us with breath-taking views. The whole experience and reaching the EBC was simply amazing.

Everest Base Camp felt unreal - like something that didn’t quite belong to real life.
It’s tough, uncomfortable, and far from glamorous. But that’s exactly what makes it special.
There’s a strange calm in the middle of all that effort just walking, breathing, existing.
A big part of the experience was our guide, Bir - calm, attentive, and always one step ahead. He took care of everything without making it feel forced, which made a huge difference, especially at altitude.
Now it almost feels like a dream. The only proof it happened is how much it changed my perspective.

My trip was excellent. Sam & Sam from Good2Go were brilliant helpful and full of knowledge.
Could not have wished for a better company to go with, thanks boys.

Excellent leadership from the two Sams, fantastic scenery and a real challenge with an excellent group of like minded people. Crossing Loch Mess by canoe is something I’ll never forget!

I booked this trip to prove to myself at 67 I was still able to challenge myself, however I was totally inspired to see that a 70 & 75 year old woman were on our trip and were a total inspiration to us all. The chemistry between everyone was fantastic and that includes the two Sam's. These lads were amazing, very patient, helpful, extremely knowledgeable in not only what we were doing but where we were and the history of the area. Not to mention big Sam being a fantastic cook. The full trip totally exceeded my expectation and I would not hesitate on recommending this trip to others and that includes those who think it is too much. It is a challenge and not a walk in the park but the patients and encouragement from the lads was second to none.

Keep up the good work and I will be looking to see what adventure lies ahead for me, so sorry lads you just might see me back.

I booked this 3 Peaks challenge expecting a steady, achievable pace as advertised (approx. 6-7 hours for Ben Nevis 0830 start and 1530 at mini bus to leave). However, on the day the guide stated we would aim for closer to 5 hours, which is a significant increase in pace for a multi-day event.

I had made it clear in advance that I am a slower walker on ascents and was managing a minor knee issue which was why I opted for the 3 day and not the 24hour. Despite this, I was told I could not take short breaks if I wanted to keep up at the pace I was walking (a steady 3.3km average according to my Strava), while others in the group were allowed to stop and when I reached them they would start walking again not allowing time for me to break. At one point I was also told to “stop going on my phone” when I had briefly stopped for water and a photo, the first time I had taken my phone out on the climb, and we were approaching an hour in.

My understanding of group hiking etiquette is that the pace should consider the slowest participant, or that groups should be managed accordingly. This did not happen, and I felt not only unsupported but that Kevin was rude towards me as I was slightly slower than the rest of the group.

As a result, I chose to withdraw on the ascent as the pace and approach did not match what was advertised or what I had booked.

I would recommend this trip only for those confident in maintaining a faster-than-advertised pace, rather than those looking for a more moderate 3-day challenge.
