Good service, everything happened according to schedule

Fantastic service from start to finish. Sofa was delivered earlier than expected. Company kept us updated all the way. Very happy with the sofa, just as described and great quality.

I am thrilled with the new sofabed. The fabric samples were delivered very quickly and I was kept up to date with the progress of the order. It is comfortable both as a sofa and a bed, and very well made. The delivery people took it to the spare bedroom as I asked and they did it with a smile. A totally good experience - thank you.

Didn’t have a problem with service until delivery. There seemed to be miscommunications between this company and their contracted delivery service. Extremely poor service overall. The delivery team were determined to not attempt to properly try to deliver the sofa, regardless of measuring before hand and removing all hardware as the sofa company advices on walls and door that maybe obstructed. Had to arrange a second delivery via a window, to which the sofa company said in email this wouldn’t be a problem. However the delivery company wouldn’t even try it as kept saying it wouldn’t fit, even despite me measuring in front of them and proving them wrong. They seemed to not want to listen to a female, so I had to get my male neighbor to which they were more accommodating. They showed up two hours early and within 10mins stated they didn’t have the time to be dealing with attempting a not straightforward task. The sofa company only stated they were going to charge for a redelivery fee, regardless of the poor service. I, a 5’2 120lb female ended up pulling the sofa in through the windows and into my flat alone; with absolutely no issues besides struggling with the weight alone. I find it absolutely ridiculous no one from either company is taking account for the lack of support or service. I wouldn’t recommend buying from this company if you have a tight corridor or twist in stairs.

Great looking sofa but not comfortable.
The construction is cheaply made, and the base is very firm and solid at the edges and at the join area.
The two sections do not line up to connect so we have a gap.
The fabric is soft, but has a strong odor, still has the cheap fabric smell after 2 months.
SLF need to get the basics right.

Item for competitively priced but didn't fall back on quality.
Delivery was prompt and the guys who delivered were very helpful and respectful of my property.

We bought a £500 sofa bed, the quality of which did not at all reflect the price. The delivery men initally put the feet on the wrong way, when I noticed, about 15. minutes after they left, tone was anything but pleasant, having to force them to come back and correct the mistake.

The sofa bed itself, just a few days shy of a year, having hardly used the sofa at all, can count on 1 hand, how many times it as been used as a bed and 2 hands for as a sofa, The timber has seemed to have broken inside when opening and closing the sofa.

Given how little it was used and how carefully we opened and closed it, it seems this may have even happend when someone was just sitting on it. On closer inspection, the joint seems very cheaply put together.

Contacted SLF24, who after a week long consideration, basically said they would send Homeserve to investigate and charge us if we couldn't prove there was a fault. I am not claiming there is a fault, but it very clearly is not fit for purpose, if that purpose is being able to open/close/sit on a sofa.

Unfortunately this leads me to this review and pursuit of other avenues to claim back the money.

I would not recommend purchasing a sofa from here in the first place, as they look pretty in the pictures, but are cheaply made.

Very friendly and helpful throughout the entire purchase process. Very speedy delivery and really great quality product. Works a treat and fits brilliantly in our study. Would 100% recommend them.
