I guess everyone knows this is a scam by now, but I just wanted to chime in.

I ordered my jeans in !2023! and still nothing. No jeans, no refund. I've gotten plenty of excuses, though. The last one in December '25. The website doesn't excist anymore, so I guess they've just done an irish goodbye, but in case they re-emerge I wanted to put this out there.

DO NOT BUY.

Company is a scam

Company is a scam. I ordered my jeans over 2years ago. I received the initial pair over a year later and they weren’t even close to my size. They promised to se d me a new pair, and I still have not received them. I requested a refund which they promised they would send, and I have not received that either. Do not buy.

Massive disappointment - no jeans no refund

Complete scam company. I ordered a pair of jeans in December 2024 and I have still not received them as of January 2026, despite still receiving numerous 'order update' emails from the company detailing all their alleged production woes. In February 2025 (after not receiving my order after 3 months) the company agreed to refund me completely and still send the jeans. However they then told me they had run into problems with their payment system and wouldn't be able to refund me until it was sorted out. I still have not been refunded.

I was very excited about the company's supposed sustainable and ethical production practices, the fact I could order custom fit jeans for a reasonable price, and to buy from a company challenging fast fashion. However, I have been completely let down at every turn, and can only conclude that either A) they are incredibly incompetent, or B) they are a scam.

I would rate this company zero stars if…

I would rate this company zero stars if I could. I ordered a pair of jeans in January 2025 and paid $153, expecting great quality. Nearly a year later, I still have no product and barely any updates—each “update” just pushes the timeline another 3–4 months. I’ve contacted them multiple times requesting a refund, but they refuse to issue one.

ScamScamScam.

ScamScamScam.
I have placed 2 orders in January 2024. One was produced and theoretically shipped in Oct 2024, but never arrived (or left the warehouse). I requested a refund in Feb 2025 but it never arrived.
The other they haven't produced and I requested a refund mid-september 2025. They keep stalling me and blaming it on Wix. I'm pretty sure it's a tactic to prevent credit card chargebacks. Slo sends an AI-generated update every month or so. I was prepared to wait a couple months for good jeans. But I am not prepared to wait months for a refund on jeans that don't exist. A million businesses operate world-wide and are able to issue prompt refunds. This company is either horribly mismanaged, or a scam. And their website still states a 30 day guarantee so they continue to lie. If you can make jeans in 30 days then make my jeans and send them to me. If you can't give me my money back. If you can't stop trying to take other people's money. Please save yourself the headache and avoid.

Terrible

Terrible, if i could give 0 stars I would have. I finally received 1 pair of jeans after about a year of waiting to discover they are huge. I foolishly ordered more as I was trying to support a small business and was promised better service. Well it has been a couple of years now and still no jeans. Save your money, save your time and shop elsewhere.

Do not trust this company

It's been over 3 years and I still don't have my jeans, nor a refund. They just keep stringing me along. Do not buy from this business, you will never get your money back,and you will never see those jeans.

SCAM--DO NOT ORDER SLO JEANS.

SCAM. DO NOT ORDER SLO JEANS. I ordered a pair of Slo jeans on Sept 1st 2024 as a birthday present to myself. Never received the jeans and never got a refund despite NUMEROUS emails back and forth with Slo Support. They LITERALLY just stole $100 dollars from me.

Update Aug. 18: I have emailed Ralph. Response pending.

First, regarding communication - we've been sending regular email updates to all customers about both our shipping solution delays and refund processing issues. If you haven't been receiving these, please check that you're emailing the correct address: support@slo.co (not .com) - this is a common mix-up that prevents customers from receiving our updates.

I haven't received any emails from you directly, which suggests there may be a communication issue on our end. Please email me personally at ralph@slo.co so I can look into your specific situation immediately.

Based on your order timing, you may be part of what we call the "hard luck crew" - customers whose completed jeans were hidden from us by a shipping partner for up to 9 months. We discovered this issue, terminated that partnership, and have been working to resolve every affected order with significant compensation packages.

Regarding the "scam" concern - I understand why delays can feel that way, but we maintain complete transparency about every challenge we face. We have our own factory in Istanbul, 900+ completed jeans ready to ship, and we're currently waiting for global trade conditions to stabilize before shipping to avoid packages being lost in customs or customers facing unexpected duty charges.

Our communication has been consistent about these external challenges because transparency, even when it's difficult news, is core to how we operate.

On behalf of a friend

I do not remember when my friend ordered her jeans, but it was over a year ago when there still were so many options on how many pockets etc... So round about 1 ½ years ago.
For way too long there were almost no updates, until SHE asked for some information. Then the email flood came...
Excuses iver excuses: Problems with the dye (as far as I recall), issues with sewing, fraud in Istanbul...
Instead of jeans, she got coupons...
My friend really wants to love slø, so she tried again. But because it was so long ago, a lot of things changed and the options she loved were all gone.
But she tried again...
And has not heard a single word ever since... unless she presses for information that is!

And won't you believe it: There are ZERO posts on Instagram anymore on slø's page... and the last update Kristian made on Instagram was in 2022.

I am fairly sure after all that this company is a fraud.

If at least SOMETHING would happen. But this is absolutely unacceptable!

Over a year, given up

I was in the first pre-order and got my pair of those about six months after I ordered. It was their first round so I didn't think much of it. The jeans were really comfortable and had pockets as promised.

Then they offered their Istanbul Club to support them needing to change some things with their manufacturing. I ordered again, a pair of jeans and a T-shirt with a promise of discounts towards future orders. That was over a year ago and it's been nothing but "we understand your frustration, reach out!" (To which they respond that they understand your frustration and a timeline for shipping that has so far been nothing but air). I've not gotten the shirt or jeans, they refuse to refund me ("we've given you a credit for another pair!") and I've simply had it. I understand it's a new company and they have growing pains, but over a year for an order is unbelievable and the excuses just make it worse.

SLO fashion is a scam and I deserve a refund for Jean I never got.

I ordered 4 pairs of jean in November of 2023 and still have yet to receive them. That was a year and a half ago!!! They said they already shipped and have refused to give me a refund but somehow they have been “stuck” at the shipping location “waiting to go out” for almost a year. Every time they email about things “moving along” or “political discord” in turkey im in the excuses and you are scamming me boat because there is nooooo reason jeans should take this long to shop from anywhere -.- I am so over them I am about to dispute the charge as I never received the product at all and can prove it.

I like many others ordered my jeans in January of 2024 when they had the buy one get one coupon and as of March 4 of 2025 I still have nothing but the same excuse and the same bull time line of three more weeks, which I have been told since November. Ralph is very polite but I'm so tired of the excuses and false hope that they might actually show

I ordered the first ever slo jeans...

I ordered slo's first ever run of slo jeans on may 5 2023, today they finally broke (enough) that I can't wear them anymore, 166 days later, they passed 6-8 other brand name pairs went through A LOT of abuse and were my main day wear jeans. I probably wore them almost every 3 days, they got snagged and surprisingly that never wore down or ever fully opened. They didn't quite fit as nice (but I think that's on me with the measurements and I probably lost weight before they got to me) I did have to wear a belt with them but that didn't bother me as I accessorize with belts anyways, they are worth the wait and the struggled they may have costed me $130 but I think the other 6 to 8 pairs it passed costed way more in total. Thank you for taking your time and care into the jeans I can't wait for my next 2 to come in.

Good Try Horrid Execution

I was in on the first ever batch, and got the jeans about a month and a half later. The hem was very poorly finished, and I cannot wear them without having a tucked in shirt because it is so scratchy and rough. The biggest issue is their dodgy customer service, who have both canceled my second order (I received a code for a free pair) and have yet to reply to me about my current missing order I tried to buy with said code (I bought it in October, and it is now February). All around, super unreliable and the product I did get was medium at best.

I really WANT to love Slo. I really, really do.

I really WANT to love Slo. I really do. I just can't.

I ordered a pair of jeans in September 2022. I tried hard to communicate with the team about sizing needs, but to no avail - when the jeans arrived in February 2023 (5 months after ordering), they were too small. They also weren't great quality, with studs popping off before I even tried them on.

Slo was good about the size change. They didn't require the jeans to be returned, and ordered a new size for me. This order went through in June 2023, as I had been travelling overseas and so although the package arrived in Feb, I didn't get it until May. Again, I tried to communicate my size needs, going back and forth several times. I was assured the size was correct this time.

I got the new sized pair in December 2023, 6 months after the order was placed. Unfortunately, Slo over-corrected - the first pair were a bit too small, the second pair were FAR too big.

The response I got from Kristian was really good. He said he'd fix it. I put in an order for another size replacement pair in January 2024. Unfortunately there was a mix-up, and the order wasn't placed in the Slo system until April 2024. At that point, the team refunded the cost of my order, but assured me that my jeans were still en route.

In September 2024, I got a shipping notification. The tracking info just says "preparing" - and it has not changed since then. I followed up in October, November, December and January - Ralph sends good emails that take responsibility and claim to have identified the problem, and that I will get my jeans in a few weeks.

But it is now February 2025 - and I don't have my jeans. Today, Ralph assured they will get to me asap. But it's hard to believe him.

The cost of the jeans was refunded, but I just want closure. I want to be told they're not coming, or I want to get them.

I gave the pair that was too large to my sister - they looked ok, not amazing. She wore them for 8 months, before one of the leg seams completely came apart, just totally split. So, the quality doesn't seem to be particularly high, unfortunately.

I really want to love this company. But, it's just impossible at this point.

Ordered in Dec of 2023 it’s now Feb 2025

I’ve been a fan of the Slø company and what they stand for since before March 2023, I actually ordered two pair of jeans that month and while yes it did take a long time for them to arrive (delivered in September 2023) at least they arrived. I loved them so much and how much they fit and the quality and the POCKETS!! So of course I wanted more so in December of 2023 I decided to buy more jeans. A pair for me my sister and my husband. Fast forward to AUGUST of 2024 I finally received my package but to my surprise only my sisters pair came in the mail. And of course I was happy that hers came in I was so disappointed that mine nor my husbands pair came in. (Btw her pair didn’t even fit her we had to give them to my mom) I contacted support immediately in August 2024 and me and Ralph went back and forth in almost 30 emails the most recent being in January of 2025!!! I had been so patient with this company and was so glad that Ralph was seeming to be so helpful but I had waited long enough and just wanted my money back for the two pair that never came in but they are still just telling me to wait for them to come in the mail because they are “so close” to arriving. Here is the most recent email sent to me.

Abby,

Thank you for your email; I'll save further apologies until you finally get your jeans.

Here's the latest:
- Packages are still stuck at our shipping partner’s warehouse
- Their company appears to have a major system error due to our D2C e-commerce ('mirco-export') shipping requirements. They are not used to handling commercial freight shipments (pallets to a single location).
- I have been trying to extract our packages to assign them to DHL
- I have been unable to get them out now they have begun the customs process since they are on the customs and border agency's system now registered with our shipping partner.
- We have made a leap forward with the delay this week.
- I discovered the issue - our contact at the shipping partner had been hiding internal warehousing issues from us.
- Thankfully this has only delayed your package. Some packages unfortunately were lost. The member of their staff responsible no longer works at the company.
- Packages will begin moving from next week again.

Your jeans are coming.

It is now February and I just had a baby so even if my jeans do come in now I probably won’t be able to wear them now. On another note I have recently looked at my 2023 pair of jeans and they already have a hole in the back pocket from the stitching coming loose.

I ordered a pair of jeans in January 2024, over a year ago now, and I still have not received them. I reached out to customer service in August, September, November, and recently, and each time they promise the same 2-3 week timeline and yet I still don't have the jeans.

Ordered in January 2024, then foolishly another pair in March 2024.

Never got either pair, just emails with excuses and "updates" on shipping that never materialized. So in November of 2024 I requested a refund, which now, in January 2025, still has not come through. I keep emailing and getting responses about it being "in process". I just want my $81.11 back.
